Best Property Management Inc.

Will never use their services again! My property was left in shambles. Relieved I got rid of them in managing my property. The agent was useless except for collecting the management fee. My property was merely a revenue generating number for them for YEARS, yet they fell well under the mark in managing it. A complete fail on their part! Unless you have the owner as the agent directly manage your property, you may fare better looking at the other reviews posted.

This review is for Beto and Best Property Management. Rental market is definitely competitive these days since everyone is looking for affordable housing. I met up with Beto at a property in San Leandro. He greeted me promptly with a warm welcome. Instantly I felt at home and knew I wanted to work with this company, and they accepted and notified me as a tenant within a few days of application. After a couple of weeks in my new place, I recieved a welcome home card from Beto. Not only was it a kind gesture, but it shows that he cares and took his time out of his busy schedule to write the card. With that being said, Beto really made me feel like I was a good friend and that means a lot. Also, being able to pay rent online is extremely convient and easy especially with my hectic work schedule. Highly recommended.

I went to their open house on dec-22,-2015, and applied and paid the application fee on dec-23−2015, now 13 days past, I have not receive any response from them, except an Application Fee Receipt auto email reply.

If your reading the reviews, then clearly you know the state of the rental market. It’s insane, and in the end you feel violated, without a place to call home, and wondering what the hell happened. These guys violated the privacy of all applicants by sending out a letter to all of the applicants (intended for the property owner) with all of our names listed… and proceeded to tell me they cancelled their client because he was too needy. When I told him he violated my privacy he said, oh no it’s okay, it didn’t have your social security number, just your name. There are two very important things in business that these guys clearly do not understand, violation of privacy and respect for client confidentiality… you can’t trust anyone anymore

Beto helped us out. met us at home, looked drunked and clothes he was wearing were not ironed, and all baggy. No disrespect, but at least represent your company in a proffessional manner. told us that no use in turning an application because someone beat us to it and says owner looking for someone to move in asap. Why show us a home if you already had someone in mind. Wasted 3 hours total drive with traffic.

Worked with Tim and Rob. Both helped make our move into a new house easy and smooth. They have been extremely helpful
and professional. They clearly know what they are doing. So far we had a very small issue that was resolved immediately. We highly recommend considering this company to work with.

I currently work with Ron Ventura of Best Property Management. I am amazed at the service he provides. The tenant he has in my house has been perfect. Rent is always paid on time and there have been absolutely no complaints from any of the neighbors. Also, Ron makes sure my mortgage is always paid along with my HOA dues.
Not only do I work with Ron, but so does my father who has multiple properties managed by him. Either one of us would be more that happy to be a reference for Best Property Management.

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Dustin Ventura, Owner /​Broker, of this fine establishment who helped us in locating a beautiful condominium unit here in Fremont, CA.
We relocated to the Bay Area from the Palm Springs, CA area in August of 2014 and had numerous problems finding suitable living quarters until meeting Dustin.
I can honestly say he has performed 110% (I won’t go 150% yet) in resolving a few issues in the unit we rented.
I would recommend him highly to anyone who may require the services of a fine, outstanding property management company such as his.

I rented a house through Best Property for four years. Dustin Ventura managed the property. During the time I rented, I always had an excellent experience with Best Property. Dustin was very professional. When repairs were needed, Dustin had the work completed with 48 hours. He’s very flexible and easy to work with. I’ve used numerous property management companies & Best Property far outranks them all. I would highly recommend using this company.

I hired Dustin of Best Property to manage my small condo for 3 years while I was away for school. I had interviewed several property management companies, and Best Property was clearly the best in the Tri-​City area.
Pros:
— The company takes a flat 8% commission; there are no hidden charges
— Dustin clearly explained the California state’s landlord/​tenants laws to me
— When searching for tenants, Best Property creates a professional ad, sends you a link to the Craigslist post, and keeps you informed throughout the process
— You receive a detailed monthly statement via email link, and rent is deposited to your bank account around the 6^th of each month
— The company does a semi-​annual inspection of the property and sends you photos so you are kept in the loop of the condition of your property
— Best Property will also forward your mail to you (if your tenant gives it to him)
— Dustin informed me in the interview that he was capable of fixing simple tasks free of charge (i.e., clogged sink drains, changing out air filters every 6 months) which can save you some small maintenance fees
— The handyman/​electrician that Best Property uses charges a reasonable amount for things that Dustin cannot fix for free (i.e., ~$ 90 to inspect the dishwasher, ~$ 120 to fix an electrical outlet)
— I had direct communication with my tenant, and she stated several times that he was very professional in his communications with her and that he replied to her questions/​maintenance requests in a timely manner
— Dustin also communicated with me via phone and email in a timely manner
Cons:
— Dustin had highly recommended that I use Alexa’s house cleaning service and Spencer’s carpet cleaning service — these are the move out services he typically uses; unfortunately I had to ask Alexa’s to return to my home twice to actually clean a majority of the home and since Spencer never returned my calls (I call to inquire about every service before I do business with anybody), I had to research and choose a different carpet cleaning service. According to Dustin, Spencer only has a deep carpet cleaning service. If you want steam cleaned carpets like I did, you’ll have to look elsewhere. I recommend Tri-​County Carpet Care.
Note: it definitely helped that I had wonderful tenants who were responsible and a pleasure to work with
Overall, I enjoyed working with Dustin and would definitely consider doing business with him in the future.

I use the Fremont branch for the last 2years as a landlord. So far I had excellent experience straight forward answers etc. I strongly recommend this realtor.

This review is for Best Property Management, located in Fremont (and as managed by Rob Ventura).
My family and I found a house via their listing, and worked with Rob during screening, qualification, move-​in, maintenance and move out, all within a short period of time.
Rob is extremely nice, accommodating, patient, kind and trustworthy. He was always ready and available to answer questions, provide info, and when our family situation changed, was extremely empathetic and understanding. We had to end our lease early due to unrelated matters, and even though we had just renewed the lease a few months prior, Rob and the Best Property Management staff made our move out as painless as possible. (We never got a chance to say thanks, so here’s a great big thank you!). Also, Their office is centrally located and makes for easy rent drop-​off after hours. Any maintenance issues are always addressed and resolved within 24−48hrs tops!
If given the opportunity, we will definitely locate and lease a property through their managed listings.

I have a property managed by Best Property for 2 years. I worked with Ryan Alter and he found me good tenants, fix plumbing & heater issues with reasonable prices and always does his annual inspection (and emailed reports to me). I highly recommend him and Best Property to anyone as they are personable, trustworthy and professional. The monthly accounting and annual statement for taxes are well organized too.

I’ve never rented with them, but I have seen some of their listings on Craigslist and recently inquired about one. Good thing I did cuz now I know why kind of service I would be getting from them. I asked basic questions about the property and got a rude response telling me to read the listing to have my questions answered. Really? If the listing would have had the information, I wouldn’t have asked. I went and double checked that I didn’t miss anything and I didn’t. No info about lease terms or move in dates in Craigslist or their website. Too bad the owners of this property are renting through this company because I’m sure I’m not the only renter they lost because of the rude responses.

As a first time landlord, I was overwhelmed with the marketing and selection process. It has been very smooth since handing over the reins to Robert. Glad I did so. Quick responses to my questions.

They are very professional as well as personable. Dustin Ventura, the agent we primarily work with, is also very good about returning calls and emails quickly when you are in need of a repair or have any questions or concerns. Everyone in the office is pleasant too. They will actually stop what they are doing and have a conversation with you.
I like that this is a family run business and they have been in Fremont for a long time. It really has that personal charm that I look for and appreciate in a local business. I never written a review on anything before however, this Property management group is so good that I had to let the Unilocal world know. My family and I have worked with many other property management companies in other counties and this company is hands down the best I’ve worked with in the last 20 years. Rob Ventura and his associates were very responsive to my tenants and their needs as well as pleasant and professional. I recommended a few friends to them and they too say nothing but good things about this company. In all, I feel that Best Property is the go to property management group in the Eastbay.

I am missing this Property Management Company now that the owners decided on another group. Rob Ventura and his staff were always responsive and polite — we had some challenges with maintenance, but I think it was more the state of the house from the outset and expectations of the owners that made it tough. Overall, I thought Best Property had excellent customer service for the tenants, and did their best to look out for the owners’ best interests.
I recommend this company to both renters and home owners looking to rent out their property.

As a renter, I can appreciate a property management company that takes care of its tenants. I’ve been renting through BPM for a year and a half, and they’ve always responded quickly if I have concerns or need assistance. Dustin, Rob and Ryan are great and have always been pleasant to deal with. And on the flip side, I can see how diligent they are in terms of caring for the properties they’re managing, so you should feel good about hiring them to manage the rental of your home. They’re thorough on inspections and make sure things are communicated well between owner and tenant. Definite class act!

Let’s face it, house/​apartment hunting can be daunting. My girlfriend and I were looking for a for a place and a friend told us about Best Property. We gave them a call, looked at a couple of properties we were interested in, answered all of our questions, and after what seemed like endless searching, finally found a place. I’ve dealt with both Rob and Ryan, and each time they’ve both been incredibly pleasant and helpful. They’re upfront with you and act in a timely manner.
