This is my first review on Unilocal and she deserves a stellar review. We recently bought our first home through Nicole and she is a pleasure to work with. She is prompt in her responses and gave unbiased opinions about the houses we were seeing. She often gave insights on matters we overlooked while house hunting and hand held us through the whole ordeal which made buying our first home a cake walk. Thank you for everything you have done for us Nicole, you are the best!

Nicole is top-​notch. As our listing agent, she moved fast with listing, repairs, and staging. She had a team of people she could call for about any problem or issue and she took care of nearly everything (and quickly). We had our first open house 13 days after first talking with her.
When receiving offers, she was confident and knowledgeable about strategy and negotiations. Most importantly, Nicole has a great personality that makes her very easy to work with. She was always available, responded quickly, proactively kept us informed, listened to our concerns, and gave us visibility about the risks/​potential pay-​offs of different decisions.
In the end, our place sold rather quickly with multiple offers. We were very happy with the whole process, and we can’t say enough good things about her.

I never thought I would be so disappointed that we sold our house so quickly and found a new one so soon. Nicole is the greatest! I cannot say enough about her and her work. My wife and I are/​were first time home buyers (we just closed yesterday) and Nicole walked us step-​by-​step through everything.
It took us over 13 months to find a home (due to the competitive nature of the market) and Nicole was with us through all of it. With put in so many offers and we kept getting out bid by cash offers, it was ridiculous!
But having Nicole explain to us exactly why we were getting outbid, and what we can do in the future to up our game was a significant help for us. I can’t tell you how many late nights my wife and I spent with Nicole writing offers and writing letters to the sellers, but it all paid off in the end.

This review is long due!
We had met with a few agents before meeting up with Nicole but looked no further after seeing her. As first time home buyers, we were constantly learning about the market and more-​so about our own priorities. Nicole was always sensitive to our ‘ever-​changing’ requirements. We always had a lot of questions for her and she was always very responsive and patient. She has a very cheerful/​accommodating/​patient demeanor, which made it easier for us to ‘bombard’ her with our questions and doubts.
Nicole was super flexible in terms of her availability. She was reachable via all possible channels — texting, email, phone. She was pretty helpful in going over listings, filtering them, adding more and of course touring any property that we wanted her inputs on. She never pushed us to bid on any property. On the contrary, she was pretty open when she didn’t like a property after touring it together. When we did express interest — she was on top of it — that’s how we eventually got our new home! Ours was a last minute offer. Nicole took serious initiative in keeping the seller’s agent engaged while we worked on the offer. Also, since she’s a listing agent as well, it helped to get the seller’s POV while putting up the offer.
Nicole’s contacts in the real estate market — ranging from lenders to home inspectors to contractors really helped us transition to our first home a lot easier. Her inputs on every aspect of home buying reflect a good deal of experience. As first time home buyers we couldn’t have asked for more!

We have so many wonderful things to say about Nicole but we will keep it short and sweet. We were truly blessed to have her as our realtor for the sale of our home and the purchase of our new home. She was extremely wonderful to work with because she always took the time to answer all of our questions and call us right back anytime we needed her. We worked with Nicole for purchasing our first house in the Fremont area. And we landed our dream house with her help. It couldn’t be more pleasant.
She is everything a good agent would be, professional, educational, experienced, local and familiar to the area, great negotiation/​communication skills, efficient and not pushy.
Our house buying experience is interesting, after looking for a while, I found a house that me and my husband liked very much, on the day of the open house, there were so many people! I’ve never seen so many cars and people coming and going to a open house in the Fremont area for a while (it was Sept., not supposed to be the «hottest time»), and the listing agent was quite hard to communicate (he was reading newspaper for the whole time and didn’t talk to anyone until I asked him when was the offer due). I was very afraid that we couldn’t get the house, for 1. it would be so competitive, and the house was listed pretty close to our budget already, and 2. the listing agent wasn’t as enthusiast as others we’ve met so I wasn’t sure if that’s concern. And just before we were making an offer, Nicole found a similar (basically the same, except a little older) house came on to the market 2 blocks away, and it was listed 30k+ lower. We made appointment and rushed to see the house in the morning on the offer due day of the 1^st house, and we’ve decided that we should still make the offer for the 1^st house and Nicole predicted that because of the 2^nd house, it might made the 1^st house less competitive. It couldn’t be a better decision! The seller accepted our offer the second day and we finally closed on the house.
Later I met a girl on a Chinese forum and she and her husband happened to be the buyer of the 2^nd house! She told me that they wanted to put an offer on our house but her agent was still waiting for our house’s reports to come out on Friday and according to Redfin our house was «pending», so they went for the 2^nd house, and it was so competitive they had 3 rounds of counter-​offers, dual brokerage, listing agent’s relative being another buyer’s agent… all these hassles and they ended up getting the house with 60k+ above the listing price! and they were paying over 50% down-​pay. This is crazy, thank god we didn’t compete with them lol, we wouldn’t and can’t pay that much down. and we probably couldn’t be neighbors :). I’m not sure it’s our listing agent being un-​communicative, or their buyer agent just wanted them to buy on the 2^nd office which listing agent was in the same office… Later I thought about it, it was due to Nicole’s prediction and communication and experience that made things happen. We’re so happy that we got the house with the price we wanted and everything turned out so perfect :)))

This review is long overdue! At the end of this month it will be officially a year since we purchased our new house… and all thanks to Nicole! Last year my fiancé (then boyfriend) & I were looking for a house to call our home in the East Bay (Fremont & Milpitas). We originally found another agent but it seemed fishy when they needed a contract to state that we won’t look for another agent. It was all too weird and luckily, I was talking about this to a friend of mine, who recommended that I contact Nicole. Nicole had helped her find a townhome in Fremont and said that Nicole was reliable, efficient and is definitely the person we were looking for.
I remember reading Unilocal reviews & looking at Nicole’s website before casually emailing her. She responded that same day and we quickly set up a meeting the following weekend.
From our first meeting with her, she mentioned that she heard about the ‘contract’ that was needed with the other agent and she told us that in this real estate business, it all comes down to «Good Faith». And from there, with this open and honest communication already set in foundation, we knew we had found someone we can trust. During that meeting, Nicole showed us a presentation where she went through describing various neighborhoods in Fremont and Milpitas and telling us about the schools, environment and culture of the surrounding areas. She grew up in Fremont so she knows this city super well, so it was reassuring to find someone who knows what we were looking for.
Being a first time homeowner/​buyer, I’m not going to lie — the process is difficult, takes time and patience and a few tries before finding «the one». Thankfully, we had Nicole with us the whole time and she was always patient and understanding. My fiancé & I knew exactly what we wanted in a home and what were deal breakers (especially if you’re Chinese and have to account for Feng Shui & all of the idiosyncrasies!). Nicole was attentive and helped us filter through houses that would fit our criteria. She was always available — she always responded to emails on weeknights and even on weekends too! Nicole answered all of our questions (there were A LOT) quickly and was never rude or impatient with us.
Because the market was so competitive at that time (it probably still is, considering Bay Area standards), it was a repetitive cycle: visiting an open house, sitting down with Nicole to create & place an offer, getting rejected and starting back to square one of searching for listings and visiting open houses. Each time this cycle happens, Nicole was with us each step of the way with a positive, friendly and most importantly, supportive attitude. We made a few offers and each of those offers she would go over important details and provide us with explanations on what we were doing and what step we were on.
When we FINALLY found the perfect home for us, Nicole made the closing process really easy and simple for us. She recommended us credible vendors for termite inspection, for carpet cleaning and anything else you need to think of when it came to inspections and final review.
Nicole is such a sweet and approachable lady with amazing work ethics. My fiancé and I both have no doubt that we would still be searching for a home to call our own if we didn’t have Nicole as our agent. We’re so thankful that my friend recommended her to us! Never did we ever felt pressured to bid on a house or offer more than we couldn’t afford — Nicole wasn’t just our agent but was also a friend who was on our side and who gave us honest suggestions and advice.

BRACE YOURSELVES — this is a LONG one, but worth the read if you’re considering Nicole as your realtor!
I really don’t think I have ENOUGH good things to say about Nicole! I met Nicole at a private showing of a townhome she was selling that I was interested in checking out. I think there’s something to be said about a seller’s realtor when you, as a buyer, decide to seek that person out for yourself. Being a regular Unilocaler, I decided to do my research on her through as many online channels as I could. There was not a single negative thing to find about her!
Before I officially asked her to be my agent, I was going to open houses on my own because I was still wary about having one since I never wanted to waste anyone’s time — my budget was low and I knew that it would be tough finding me something acceptable in my price range. On one of my lone adventures to an open house for a condo, I met another agent that happened to work for the same company Nicole does. When I mentioned that I was considering asking Nicole to be my agent, her colleague had only the most amazing things to say about her! He even told me that he wouldn’t think anyone else would fit my needs any better than Nicole because she really cares about helping people. I think that deep down, I felt this when I first met her and that’s why she was at the top of my list. What also appealed to me was the fact that she really knew the Fremont, Newark, and Union City areas really well. As someone who’s grown up in Fremont and lived in both Union City and Newark, I had to have someone who really understood and lived in the neighborhoods.
Now we get to more good stuff. Working only about a couple weeks with Nicole, she was able to find me a single family home in my price range in Union City. Let me start off by saying that I had pretty much begrudgingly accepted the fact that at my price range, I would only be able to afford a townhome or condo if I wanted to stay in the area. So when she asked me to look at this home, I literally flipped and then tried to keep my cool immediately after. The market right now is extremely competitive with ALL homes being sold for OVER asking price. How in the world was I going to compete with all the investors and families working with 2 incomes??? It was a long shot, but if there’s anything I’ve learned in this whole process, it’s that you must at least try and make an offer if you really want it. I expressed my concern about writing a cover letter because I was an unmarried female working off of just my income alone with only so much to put down. All the other cover letters I’ve ever read were people talking about their children, husbands, and fiances. What did I have to say that would make me stand out? Nicole taught me that my work with the community is something that has the ability to speak volumes to sellers. With her guidance, I worked up the courage to write a cover letter that helped the sellers really understand why their home was a good fit for me. She was more than happy to review it and give me feedback on the letter.
Well… guess what? I got the home! What was the key? Nicole’s trustworthy reputation amongst other agents. I mean, sure, my letter helped a little. But REALLY if it wasn’t for Nicole’s ability to work so well with other realtors, I don’t think my offer would have been considered as heavily as it was. It takes a real genuine and special realtor to get sellers and their agent to look beyond the dollar sign and focus more on the buyer. Especially in this particular market where people are offering at least 5−10%+ above asking price! Nicole’s expertise really gave me a fighting chance and I couldn’t be any happier with my decision to work with her.
Another few things to note if you go with her: she helps you to the end and has some of the BEST contacts! When we found out the home needed some work, she searched far and wide for the most competitive bids so that she could save me as much money as possible. I couldn’t be happier with the different people she has set me up with to take care of my home. She knew I was on a budget, and she still was able to hook me up with some of the best out there! I think my favorite part about this is that Nicole only refers people who she would work with herself. She’s not just looking to get people a cheap price, she’s looking for quality for her clients.
Finally, Nicole is ALWAYS accessible. I don’t think I’ve ever called her and she didn’t answer. If she did, she made it a point to call back right away. Emails are always responded to in a timely manner. And she texts! As someone who has tons of questions, it was a relief to be able to text her instead of calling her a million times a day.
By now, you can probably tell how much I looooove Nicole :). If you’re looking for someone who is really about helping people — Nicole is your realtor! I will definitely be coming back to Nicole in the future when the time is right. THANK YOU, N

Thanks to Nicole’s real estate expertise, her extensive knowledge of both Fremont & Newark, and her quick email and phone responses we closed a deal on the perfect home at the right price even in this very competitive market.
My fiancé and I met Nicole at an open house and we both loved her. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and had a positive energy about her. We wanted to put in an offer on the house and I was worried about going with her and having Nicole represent both us and the sellers. As the saying goes hindsight it 20/​20, right? We made a HUGE mistake by choosing another relator. The deal with Nicole fell through and we lost 5 valuable months of our time and several nice homes that we probably could have won if we had Nicole as our realtor. Finally we got our act together and ended up calling Nicole.
We explained to Nicole the type of house we wanted, the kind of area we wanted to live, and our price range. Two and a half months later we moved into our new home. We’ve only been living in the bay area for a couple years so it was great to work with someone who grew up in the area and knows which areas are nice and which areas to stay away from!
Nicole was always quick to respond to my emails as well as emails from our lender or the other agents. If she didn’t answer her phone when I called she would either call back shortly after or text and let me know when she would be available to talk, which was usually not too long after my initial call. She really cares about her clients. At no time did I ever feel like «just another sale». She always wanted to make sure we purchased the home WE wanted.
If I’m ever in the market to purchase another home or a buy a second home I wouldn’t want to work with anyone else.

Because of my line of work, I know hundreds of Real Estate agents and have worked directly with many of them. Earlier this year I began searching for a home on my own and quickly learned that I couldn’t devote enough time to do it properly. I decided to go with Nicole because she knows the market and the area, is knowledgeable and personable.
One of the best things about working with Nicole is that she is accessible. Phone calls, e-​mails and text messages are answered promptly. Oftentimes I would send an e-​mail late at night expecting an answer the next day and be surprised to see reply just minutes later. I also have an unpredictable work schedule and Nicole was very flexible and easy to work with. I would advise her how much time I had and she would have several homes lined up that met our criteria.
The market was very crazy back then and we were putting in an average of one offer per week. We finally got one accepted … The house was a flip and the seller agreed to the purchase price. We subsequently ran into multiple issues with the seller who did not want to honor the terms of the contract. Luckily for us, persistence, negotiation skills and experience are three more of Nicole’s strong points. Her persistence and people skills resulted in an amicable resolution of this issue. Her empathy and friendliness was key in minimizing the stress during a stressful negotiation process. She genuinely cared about how I felt, was a great advocate and represented my interests at all times. Throughout the ups and downs she remained upbeat, positive and steady.
In summary, Nicole did an excellent job throughout the process of finding and purchasing a house. I highly recommend her if you need any help with buying or selling real estate in the East Bay — Tricities area.

As a first time home buyer I didn’t really know the timeline for buying a home, particularly in the current market where overseas investors are swooping in with cash and making offers with no contingencies. Due to an insane number of logistics, I had to find home in a matter of weeks and I didn’t realize the near impossibility of this. My only mistake was not finding Nicole sooner. Being new to this process, I wasted a week looking for the right agent that would move quickly and really just get the job done. Yep, I’m a tough customer; I know what I want and am not afraid to say it. Multiple agents told me it was not possible. One even spent an hour trying to talk me out of purchasing a home.
Nicole was an absolute blessing, she cut to the chase and pulled off a miracle. In less than two weeks I was in escrow, I had only lost one home I had put an offer in on (to one of those cash investors), and I was well on my way. Nicole was there every step of the way. She was ALWAYS available, regardless of the time. Whether it was to lend me some zen, answer my never ending questions, or keep those DocuSign’s rolling, she was on it and boy was she patient. You always have Nicole’s complete attention, she makes you feel like you are her only client. From our first phone call around mid-​July, to the day I moved in August 30^th, Nicole sprinted a marathon to get me everything I needed.
What’s more than all of this? Nicole has incredible integrity, I would trust her with anything. After all I had heard about buying a home, and after all of the agents I had met with, I never expected to find someone like Nicole.
