I’ve been seeing Dr. Bhandia for about ten years now. I was looking for a female physician. At first I thought she was kind of blunt, but looking back she’s very honest. She’s very knowledgable. I go to her for my annual exams and she’s my PCP. She’s really friendly and she makes an effort to get to know her regular patients. Also, I think since they’ve really digitized their database it’s easier for Dr.‘s to keep up with their patients rather than having to spend time sifting through charts. She’s got it all in her hands and spends a few minutes updating my records and addressing all my concerns. I think a reviewer felt that Dr. Bhandia would charge extra for a service if you went to see her for something else and didn’t tell her in advance of the appointment. That is true and it applies to PAMF as a whole. You will be charged extra for whatever treatment you had without informing the doctor first and it’s up to the insurance company to pay it, but it’s not the medical organization rather the insurance company that made it this way. I’d give medical insurance companies negative stars if I could. The whole health care system is messed up.
