Send Rover Over Pet Salon

We have been taking our almost 11yrs old King Charles Cavalier there for several years after our other groomer by our neighborhood closed. We have Bentley groomed in a field cut which makes it easier for us. All the ladies are polite, friendly and attentive. Our dog enjoys going and they have been very good about adapting changes we want do to seasons. Each appointment is put on his chart and discussed before they take him. He had health issues and they worked with those problems with no hesitation. I would recommend them highly. They are busy and appointments fill up but they try to accommodate their customers.

Well, I was thinking of giving them only 2 stars, but I bumped it up to 3 because they have been really stellar in the past. I hope the owners read this review and respond to it, at which point I will consider changing my rating.
We have been taking our little dog baby in here for months, and have been really happy with the service. They seem to love her, they are always smiling and tell me how sweet and precious my baby is. In the past, they have done a really great job of giving her a haircut.
But the last time I took her in, they were having a very busy day. First they called to tell me that it would be 3 hours longer than they originally thought because they were behind. Then they called me at 2:50 and asked if I could come get her by 3:00 because they were closing early for the day. So I rushed over to get her, and they weren’t done with her haircut. They took her off the table and handed her to me, and she had’t been brushed out or vacuumed off, so she shook cut hair all over my car as soon as I put her in it. Clearly they were rushed and didn’t follow though all the steps they normally did. But then when I got her home I realized they hadn’t done the cut I asked them to do — it was way too long, in addition to the fact that it was completely uneven and it looked terrible.
To be fair I asked if I could bring her back in the next day to have them fix it and they said yes, but I have 3 kids at home with a lot of doctor visits and other miscellany that fill up our schedule and there was no time for me to take her back in. So after a week had passed because I couldn’t take her back due to my schedule (and I feel that was on them because it should have been done right in the first place and I shouldn’t have to make an extra trip to take her back) I just decided to cut her hair myself.
What I take issue with is that they should have either rescheduled with me, stayed open until their normal time, or even just 15 minutes later, to do her haircut right, and they should have not done a half-​assed job. Dog haircuts are super expensive and this place is a small business. It only takes one bad review to tank a reputation. They need to consider that the next time they decide to close early and not do their jobs.

Wonderful experience!
I took my 7 month old high-​energy corgi to the groomers for the first time, and I was admittedly nervous about how he would behave. But when I picked him up he has super happy and super clean! He even had a cute little bandana on him — the fact that he didn’t rip it off him with five minutes was a miracle.
The team at Send Rover Over was incredibly kind and welcoming to not only me, but to my pup as well — and it showed! I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Our Yorkshire Terrier, Quincy, has been seeing Ashley at Send Rover Over. She has been his groomer for the last year. Quincy always looks great. Ashley does as I ask, which is very important to me. I also appreciate the fact that my dog is excited to see everybody at Send Rover Over, he especially loves his Ashley. Quincy has been to other groomers and he was NEVER happy to go back. I am thrilled we found Ashley.
Send Rover Over is always clean, they’re always friendly, and they do a great job. I feel send Rover Over is a safe place for my little guy as well. A bonus, they also sell various pet foods, toys and accessories.
I also want mention pricing; Send Rover Over is affordable! I love the value for my money.

That Kristi girl is especially pleasant & is patient with my dog, he has severe anxiety & responds better with her than any groomer I’ve met.

We have been using this service for our shi-​lhapso for nearly eight years and we love this salon! Marit and her helpers always do a beautiful job for a very reasonable price.

My mal-​shih went here for the first time last week. He was treated well and they did a great job. I’ll be going back! Plus, I love the location. Very central.
