Muddy Paws Pet Parlor

Our first experience with them was amazing. Our husky and Australian shepherd look the best I’ve ever seen them. We were misquoted the first time and basically got a free trim on our Aussie. We were told for $ 25 a dog 50lbs and under get a bath, dry, brush, nails, and ears. That’s what we asked for this last time. Both dogs came back smelling like wet dog, still wet, and it was obvious they weren’t brushed. When I confronted them about it they said they would call the next day to make things right and it never happened. I wrote s facebook review and they said they wrote me messages which never happened, then proceeded to tell me they lost a groomer because of the situation and huskies always cost more. I gave snapshots of the messages I had from our conversations, it instead, they tried to make me look bad. We started getting our dogs groomed because my husband is s disabled marine with paralysis and we have a 4 year old and a newborn. Our dogs liked it here, but if this is the service that we’re going get, it’s not worth our time or money.

I’m so impressed with Muddy Paws! I was running late and badly needed to bathe my flea bitten pooch! The owner was so gracious opening up for me after hours. Even helping me with the shampooing and tips on natural flee control. Also, the shampoo was not all watered down. I Will be back! Thank you bunches!

They are fantastic! I have brought my Akita there three times now and every time he looks amazing. The employees are super helpful and never cut his toe nails too short. The prices are also the most resonable I have found in town. They are wonderful we will continue to come back to this friendly group of groomers.

This was my first time and I’ll definitely be going back. The lady on the phone was polite and the got me right in. Upon arriving, the facility was clean. My pup was initially scared, but she warmed up shortly and the groomer did a great job with her fur and nails. The price was better then going to pet smart for similar service including a nice tip.

I take my dog there for grooming 3 – 4 times a year and they are awesome. Friendly people, great staff and awesome work. We also use the do it yourself and love that as well. I highly recommend this place to all my friends with dogs!

The new management is amazing! I didn’t really have an issue with the old people but the new ones are great :)

After a disastrous experience at pets mart we were looking for a groomer to finish the grooming on our little guy! They were very helpful and did a great job on our lil guy! Props to the groomer and the new owner, you have made a repeat customer out of us! Thanks again muddy paws!

Very cute place, a bit far for me since I’m based in Springfield but I was given a voucher for 2 free dog washes so I brought my pups in. They’ve got a few tubs and all the fixins a normal pet wash would have but one thing I did like was that they had a lot of towels available. I’ve got a huge dog so that was great. On the contrary, the water didn’t get very warm, even when I made it the hottest it could be it still ended up being room temperature; I prefer the water to be a bit warm. The owner also seemed a bit overwhelmed while I was there but she was pleasant the entire time. Nonetheless, I liked that they had homemade dog treats and a variety of goodies. Great place!

Very friendly service. Clean tubs and yummy treats for the dog. Would recommend to others!

We are new to Eugene and Muddy Paws happens to be walking distance from our home. Even though Muddy Paws is a self-​wash dog wash place, we brought our Landseer Newfie, Rainier a couple of months ago to them to do the dirty work for us. :) Afterall, we needed some help to get the 95 lb dog clean and prettied up! We were happy with the dog wash. Rainier was happy too coz she stole some freshly baked cookies (meant for selling in the store!) from the counter! The owner/​staff, Sally was really nice even though Rainier needed to be disciplined.
Today, we brought Rainier in for a groom. We made the appointment ahead of time as we know that Rainier will require at least 4 hours at the groomer’s. She was happy to be back and excited to see everyone.
The groomer, Rachel (I think) took the time to listen to my instructions and concerns. We, rather I, wanted a lion clip for Rainier since the weather is getting hot and who doesn’t want a «lion» as a pet? :)
I was concern about the coat growing back fuzzy if they shaved her down. Rachel explained to me different options and we went with a lion clip with ½ inch left on the short cut.
Rainier’s coat is not poofy enough to look like a lion but she looks so much neater and the groom left a heart shape on her hip which is sooooo cute! I thought that’s a great idea!
The cost was cheaper than expected (it was estimated at $ 125 but groomer said it was not as tedious so we paid $ 100 + tip).
I will definitely recommend Muddy Paws for dog wash and grooming! Thank you for the lion look on Rainier!

Horrible, horrible, horrible experience with their groomer. We started going to Muddy Paws to follow our longtime groomer, Susan. We called to make an appointment, and were told she was no longer there, and they could not/​would not tell us where she was now working. We went ahead and made an appointment, took our Scottie and Westie for baths and haircuts.
The male groomer gave our dogs the worst haircuts of their lives – jagged, uneven cutting, not normal terrier cuts. He shaved the tops of their noses, and the Westie looks like a really bad, uneven, incompetently done poodle cut. Obviously had no idea what he was doing.
If the cuts had just looked bad, we would have shaken our heads and just never gone back. But the guy shaved the Scottie so aggressively, her butt was completely burned. Traumatic. She spent the first evening and night not sleeping, trying to get at her backside and hide it at the same time. Can’t stand to be touched anywhere. Backside red and sore, irritated. I’d share a photo here if I could. She is at the vet right now, trying to see what we can do for her.
If you love your animals as we do, don’t darken the door of this place. I wrote a detailed email with photos and sent hours ago, and no response. And they aren’t answering their phone. Disgraceful. Disgusting.

We took our two puppies last Friday close to closing time but the the owner was great to help to make sure the puppies had the best time. Both my dogs were happy and content to be there… which is odd since they are not happy anywhere but home and camping. Going to go back regularly.

I love this place — the people are very friendly and helpful. I have one dog who loves to be around other people and dogs, and one dog who really dislikes other dogs and is leary of strangers. They make both dogs feel welcome and happy — my scared dog is very calm while at Muddy Paws! And it is so nice to not have to clean dog hair out of my own bathtub!

Fantastic place to take the dogs for a good wash and a freshly baked doggy biscuit to go.
