We recently needed the assistance of an experienced, competent professional to install a screen over our chimney as we had recently had a major bee problem When I called, I spoke to Daniel who shortly came to our house, identified the problem and scheduled a time to do the work necessary. As scheduled, and on time, Daniel came and did an excellent job. He was knowledgeable, professional, and personable. Couldn’t ask for more.

Great service by Daniel! The dryer was taking a long time to dry the towels. It’s been about 4 – 5 years when he last came out. My goodness, he got a whole kitchen trash bag worth of lint out. He was polite, efficient, and left the laundry room much cleaner than when he arrived.

We’re really happy we selected this company to clean our chimney. Daniel told us our chimney was fine and we didn’t need his services! It’s so great to find someone who’s honest. Originally we had decided a DIY install for our new fire glass and heat mirror surround for our gas fireplace. Instead, we used the money we had budgeted for the chimney sweep and had Daniel do the install for us. It looks beautiful and works great. His prices are competitive!

Never having the need to hire a chimney sweep before, I really didn’t know what to expect when I gave Daniel a call. His professionalism, expertise, and courtesy are genuine and he does excellent work. He was thorough, took his time explaining everything clearly, and left the house possibly cleaner than he found it (always a plus!). Even though I know he had another appointment to get to, he still took the time to talk over a few issues we had and to answer our questions without making us feel rushed, which was much appreciated. As a nice bonus, he took the time to chat with my toddler (who was mesmerized by the entire process and by Daniel’s tools) and even gave him a little chimney sweep coloring book. Will definitely be using him again and recommending his services! Top notch!

He explained the workings of my gas fireplace set up in detail, making small adjustments at no charge and expertly optimizing our situation. He told us the work we called him in to do was not needed. I keep hearing how most home fires are caused by dryer lint build up. I finally made an appointment. Daniel came out and cleaned out our dryer vent. Wow, I could not believe how much lint and dog hair was in my vent. Daniel was very detailed and explained what was clogging my vent, dos and don’ts. Very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. We highly recommend Sweeps Luck and will have them out yearly.

Daniel took care of the sweep of our very dirty fireplace very efficiently and was a very pleasant guy as a bonus. Will use them again.

Finally someone with integrity! Daniel was scheduled to clean out our fireplace and dryer vent.
He was personable, very aware of our home and arrived within the window of time he told me he would arrive.
He determined it was not necessary to do a sweep of our fireplace — He only charged for the work he did on the dryer (very very reasonable)
In a day and age that you feel you have to have your guard up on every contractor, it was so refreshing to find someone who wants to make an honest living, take care of his customers and provide quality work.

It’s hard to find a good contractor and even harder to find a Chimney Sweep that’s just adequate. Daniel WAS FANTASTIC! Let me be clear. Even before he finished his work I was so impressed I cranked out this review. Daniel was not only professional, he respected the inside of my home, put booties on without asking and was detailed oriented, he was very personable and was a wealth of information about my 2 fireplaces. I will ONLY use this company from now on and I would say if you choose to use Daniel you will NOT be disappointed. All the reviews speak for themselves.

Daniel from Sweep’s luck saved us big time! Our tenants called us a the dyer in our stackable unit stopped working and we needed to get the ducting cleaned out. Daniel was the only person I could find who would clean out the ducts. He normally doesn’t work in our area, but since he knew we were in a pinch he came out anyway. He did a fantastic job, went above and beyond to fix the issue and our tenants are thrilled. I HIGHLY recommend his company. If we ever need our ducting cleaned again we will definitely be calling him.

Daniel from Sweep’s Luck Chimney Sweep came over yesterday to clean my chimney. I got his name from a friend who highly recommended Sweep’s Luck. Daniel was punctual, friendly, and professional. He explained what he did and answered all my questions without trying to rush out the door when the job was complete. I will definately call Sweep’s Luck the next time and I would refer him to everyone who is overdo (like I was) to have their chimney cleaned. It can be a matter of life and death!

Found Sweep’s Luck here on Unilocal and set an appointment. Daniel was wonderful and did a great job. No mess, no up-​selling, he gave us honest feedback on the condition of our fireplace and told us what we need to take care of to get it up to code; giving us the information to either do it ourselves or have him complete the job. He was extremely professional and friendly and we’ve already recommended his services to two other families. Very glad that we trusted the feedback from Unilocal and scheduled our appointment with Sweep’s Luck.
p. s. For general info, you need to have your fireplace/​chimney inspected annually and get it swept when the buildup is about 1/​8″ (like a popcorn ceiling).

Daniel from Sweep’s Luck was on time and did an awesome job cleaning out our 10 ft dryer duct that goes underneath the concrete slab. Our only intent was to get the dryer duct cleaned out but we got more information about how often we should clean it out (not as often as I thought), what type of softener is best to use to, and other useful dryer information. He also showed us the inside of the dry-​vac that sucked up all the stuff inside the duct. I had to make sure we were getting good cleaning, and we did. He was very friendly and informative. While he was out here, we also asked for a quote to clean out our chimney. He came back with no need to clean it out (apparently it was pretty clean to his standard, we’ve never used it since moving in and just thought it was dirty), but we did need a cap. Again he explained the purpose of the cap and why it’ll help with the condition of the chimney. He also performed an exterior inspection of the chimney from top to bottom and discovered a 4 ft. crack on the top, while installing the cap. He showed us pictures of the crack and quoted us on the work that needed to be done to prevent the crack from spreading. I felt that he was honest about the quote and also gave us options of what we can do to patch it up, what we need to do in the near future, and what are long term solutions. He pretty much gave us the break down, with no sales pitch, of all our options and to decide what was best for our situation.
We have scheduled Sweeps Luck to come out again to fix the crack. We chose to patch it up to prevent it from spreading. He’s coming out in a few days. I would recommend Sweeps Luck for dryer duct cleaning and chimney inspections/​work. He’s a good guy and will give you straight answers to your duct/​chimney questions.

There aren’t any previous reviews for Sweep’s Luck, but I came across them from an ad in the Buy-​1-​Get-​1-​free mailer. They are BBB A+ rated. They are also licensed chimney sweeps (check our their licenses & certifications on the website), which not all chimney sweeps are. So I took a chance, and I’m so glad I did.
The best thing about this company is their level of customer care and soft skills. Daniel came out to my condo, and the first impression is that he’s a really nice guy. He’s super friendly (which, as we can imagine, does not apply for many contractors in general out there), and talked about family and our kids for a couple minutes as he got all his stuff set up. He’s not just some worker bee who does the bare minimum, but rather, he’s a friendly guy who I can trust with servicing something in my home. (I just looked him up and found out that he’s actually the owner.)
He performed an inspection and cleaned our fireplace, which had a good deal of build-​up in it. We are a shoes-​off family, and he put on booties before even stepping into our home, and laid down plenty of mats to prevent any dirtiness during the cleaning. The vacuum wasn’t much louder than any normal vacuum cleaner, and the actual cleaning took about half hour.
He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain his findings to me. At the end of the hour+ visit, he didn’t even seem in a rush to jet out of there, but patiently answered all of our many questions. I would highly recommend this company. They are truly professionals at what they do!
