Oceanside Drywall

After being involved in real estate properties for over 30 years and dealing with several contractors, Oceanside Drywall was the best Company that I have ever dealt with by a large margin. Chris, Joe, & Adrian did a fantastic job on a fairly large job of removing all popcorn from ceilings, Skip trowel and repair to all walls, replacement of all doors and door jams, complete inside painting with accent wall, and some exterior painting. I had to fly in to Oceanside from Australia and set up all contractors within 2 weeks and then fly back to Australia. Not only did they have excellent recommendations for improvements for my specific job, Chris was outstanding, coordinating with all the other contractors… flooring, bathroom contractor, cabinet installer. At one stage, the Sears appliance installers were ready to walk out the door without installing and Chris paid the $ 495 install fee out his own pocket to have them complete the work, which I reimbursed later. Joe came up with outstanding recommendations for coordinating Painting colors and pushed for me to install all new doors and jams. (Makes all of the difference, thank you Joe). Chris was almost like a general contractor and kept everything on schedule. After it all was said and done, everything was replaced in the house except the kitchen cabinets (but they were repaired and cleaned up). I can’t tell how much I owe Oceanside Drywall for their professionalism, quality of work, and working their butts off to stay on schedule. The house is like brand new now. Keep up the great work Oceanside Drywall!

Contacted Chris after reading reviews on Unilocal and Angie’s List. He responded quickly and came by for an estimate. They were my best price by $ 550.00. Showed up on time and were friendly, professional and very respectful of my home. They cleaned as they went and left nothing for me to reclean at the end of the job. I always have to do some type of fixing or cleaning, so this was awesome. The work was great and looks like I never had over ten holes in my walls.
I would recommend them and reuse them again if I ever need any drywall work done!!!

Emailed Oceanside Drywall and Chris got back to me right away. They asked me to send them a picture of the drywall damage and gave me a quote right away. The quote seemed fair and they setup a time to do the repair a couple days later.
Joe and Adrian came over and did the repair within one day while everyone else said it would take two days. These guys were professional, friendly and fast.

Nellie and I usually Unilocal restaurants in Oceanside but when we found ourselves in need of some drywall work we didn’t know what to do or who to call. We were lucky enough to find Oceanside Drywall. When Chris gave us an estimate we were very pleased. Chris, Joe and Adrian showed up and got right to work. A crew of young energetic smart professionals who really enjoy what they are doing. These guys like to work and they are proud of the job they do. Our bedroom and bathroom now have a great new look and we are happy with the entire project. Watching Joe work was like watching an artist. he took his time and made sure the job was perfect. Minus 50 stars1 NO INTEGRITY when they visited me. First Chris comes and give the estimate. The price quoted was 550. That was not acceptable to me. I offered $ 300 and he said that his brother could do it outside of his business for that price. We agreed upon what would be done and it would be the section of ceiling up to my fan in the laundry room. A week later, Chris arrives with Joe. I notice that Chris is not cutting out the section that we agreed upon. He is cutting out a tiny section and making his own stud creating a tiny hole to drywall instead of the much bigger hole that we agreed upon which went out to the fan. I immediately questioned him as to why he was not doing what we agreed up on. He said that he couldn’t get anyone to come to do the drywall so he had to come and he doesn’t work for lower prices. I told him that was not my problem. He said he would do the ceiling and a few small holes in my office for $ 300 and now he was doing something different and shortchanging me by not repolacing the portion of the ceiling that we agreed upon for $ 300. I told him that he should do exactly what he agreed upon or he could take his tools and leave because I DO NOT ALLOW PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO INTEGRITY to work in my home. He took his tools and left! SO DISAPPOINTING to see such behavior! NEVER CALLING THEM AGAIN!!! I ended up having a wonderful person come instead to fix the problem. Luckily, I found someone wonderful who did it for $ 200 and the new person was honest and dependable. …following through doing EXACTLY what they verbally said they would do. Thank God my security system recorded everything! I did not feel safe!

Chris and Joe were able to make an appointment within a few days. Very friendly and professional. Fast work to repair a hole in the ceiling from a plumbing leak repair. Also, very good communicators with following up on their request for pictures of the ceiling and following up the day of to refine their arrival time. Price ended up only being ¾ of what was quoted. Will definitely be requesting their help in the future for additional repairs.

I found Oceanside Drywall after scouring Unilocal and Angies List for a local company with solid reviews. They were my top pick «on paper» and my experience was positive from the get go.
Step 1, the estimate. My job was small — replacing a small amount of drywall after water damage. It went around a bullnose corner and I wanted to be sure the texture matched what I have (a Santa Barbara type hand finish). I texted with Chris and provided photos. He responded within less than 10 minutes with a fair price. (A neighbor in construction and some online searches had told me what to expect.) We scheduled the job by texting and Chris kept me up to date on the timing.
Step 2, the actual work. Chris’ brother Joe added the new drywall, the metal base needed on the corner, etc. He did a couple coats of whatever they put on top of the drywall and let things dry in between. He recreated the same type of markings as the rest of my wall and you’d never know work had been done on the wall or the bullnose corner. Joe also fixed another problem I had where two walls came together and it had looked lumpy and he didn’t even charge me. Joe left the work area spic and span.
I found both brothers to be both professional and nice to work with. I would definitely use Oceanside Drywall again and recommend them without reservation.

Found Oceanside Drywall on Unilocal,Chris and Joe were very professional. Joe came out to give us a quote on finishing out a 90’s light box in kitchen, it looks better than I thought it would, Joe re-​textured the entire ceiling so that it blended-​looks great.
I would use Oceanside Drywall again, we’ve already recommended Oceanside Drywall to our Electrician when asked who finished out our ceiling.

Adrian at Oceanside Drywall did a fantastic job repairing the drywall in our home. They were on time, super friendly and very professional. These guys do beautiful work!

I recently had Oceanside Drywall hand texture a rental property bathroom for me and to some up in two words their performance would be «complete professionals». When I called to get a quote and schedule work I was appreciative of how accommodating they were to my situation (i.e tenant occupied rental property) and needing to get the work done as soon as possible. With a busy schedule they fit my job in and the finished product exceeded my expectations, not to mention the tenant was incredibly happy as well. One of the biggest struggles I often find in working with companies is lack of communication, but these guys were on it ! They scheduled the work showed up right on time and my tenant was appreciative of the respect they showed them and how they would have never known they were there due to leaving behind a clean job site. I will be using Oceanside Drywall in the future, and I encourage anyone wanting a professional job done at a completely reasonable rate to call them as well, you will NOT be disappointed. These guys have done wonderf job skip troweling my walls and ceiling, patching and adding some drywall. My job has been particularly difficult as I’ve had a couple of major problems that caused delays and The 3 Brothers have had to come back multiple times. They have cheerfully work with the insane no site schedule I have had… And best of all, they were very competitive in pricing!

Chris and Joe just left our home and we are SO happy with their work. We found these guys on Unilocal and are extremely pleased with their work. Very efficient, kind, and fast. Clean up was minimal and they were very well priced. We will definitely be using them on larger projects later this year. Thanks guys!

These guys did a great job on our living room wall that previously had 2 full length mirrors adhered to it. They also turned a black hallway that was a sound proof entrance to a garage studio into paintable hallway that now looks like it is part of the house instead of a funhouse entrance. Joe and Chris patched numerous holes in the family room wall that were from a zillion wall anchors used to support musical equipment and sound proofing panels. The ceiling repair they did was excellent and all the walls were texturized perfectly. I will use them again when we are ready to tackle the other rooms and have recommended them to a realtor friend for her clients to use. If you need drywall done, these are the guys to call.

The guys at Oceanside Drywall did a great job repairing a drywall hole I had in my home. They were prompt, clean, professional and very easy to deal with. Joe did an excellent job on the repair and left the area sparkling clean. He was able to match the texture perfectly. Quality work. Very impressed.

Hi, I was recently were referred to Oceanside Drywall by a friend of mine and was quoted a pretty reasonable price, so I went ahead and used them after being impressed with their customer service, all my questions, etc. They resurfaced the walls in 3 bedrooms with a smooth hand texture. It cost $ 2300. They were prompt and courteous and very respectful throughout the whole project.
