I have a 4 bedroom, 2 bath house that I just bought recently. The texture and paint on the interior walls and ceilings was terrible. Semi-​gloss was in every room and also heavy, heavy texture was throughout the house. Travis and his crew did a great job covering the walls and ceilings with a smoother skim coat and also adding the bullnose where it was needed. They did a really nice job. Travis is also very communicative and speedy with return calls and texts. Thank you.

I had a leak from the upstairs condo into my garage. It was a relatively small job that Travis and his staff were going to fit in for the day. Travis kept in touch with me with his arrival time which I very much appreciated. They came in and got started right away! They put up plastic to contain any mess, did the work and cleaned up after. We have a heavy acoustic texture and he matched it perfectly!
I would completely recommend him to anyone looking for a drywall contractor!

My small ceiling repair due to a roof leak wasn’t so small after all. A MUCH bigger problem loomed inside as we discovered once Travis started the work.
So very glad Travis/​Artisan was recommended to me by another dry wall contractor (who didn’t want to tackle matching the ultra smooth ‘plaster’ ceiling)!
Work had to be spread out over weeks due to the type of repair & my schedule. Results: Excellent! Much better than I ever dreamed it could look, absolutely seamless ‘patching’.
Travis was prompt, always kept me up to date on his schedule & time-​frames, super conscientious & tidy. Enjoyed working with him & his partners :-) Thanks guys!

please do not use this company. they showed up for a quick which was great the only problem is to not show up with the material as promised. the gentleman showed up with a half a bucket of mud to do a 400 square foot knockdown room. I gave him a half a bucket of mud that I had laying around the house and still came up short. so I had to leave the gentleman in my house alone while I went to Home Depot and pick up another bucket of mud just to finish the job. when the job is completed it was very light and very similar to texture vs knockdown. highly recommend not using this company I called the owner of the company and asked him to come out and take a look at the work that he was providing with his sub contractors and all I got what shoot me some pictures. :(

Travis and his partner did an excellent job repairing multiple holes (24) due to the running of electrical wiring for the installation of ceiling fans. They were so clean and quiet and completed the job within the time range we’d agreed upon.
I will definitely be calling them for any other repairs we need.

I had a ceiling hole broken through from a leak in the attic. Travis repaired and retextured, doing a great job on matching the popcorn with no obvious transition. He carefully covered the area before he started and cleaned up afterward. He was prompt and courteous, arrived on time, and communicated well before the job. I would definitely use him again!

Travis was referred to me by another drywall contractor. I hired him to do a job on my grandmothers house in La Jolla. I like to start early so I told him to be there at 7am sharp. He and his partner were there promptly. Off to a good start. He had about 10 big holes to patch and paint. The result? I couldn’t have been more satisfied with his work. He is truly a master craftsman. I couldn’t even point out where any of the holes had been. In addition he installed some extra shelving for my us and a couple other things that my grandmother wanted done. On top of that his bid and time estimate came back exactly as he had originally quoted me. The price was very fair and I could not be more happy with the job he did for us.
I highly recommend Travis for any Drywall work you need done. He is very professional and also a really nice guy.

These guys were great. They were reasonably priced and very communicative. We had them patch up our drywall after a plumbing issue. We have textured walls and they were able to patch up the holes without any seams. You can’t even tell where the patchwork was done. They really took care to clean up after themselves during and after construction. They actually spent a good part of Easter Sunday finishing up the job. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat!

He really took his time, made sure all furniture and flooring was covered/​protected, blended the texture perfectly with the existing texture, and cleaned everything when he was done. He even went to Home Depot to get a matching paint and when he got back, applied the paint, it dried he realized it wasn’t quite a match, he went all the way back to Home Depot to have the paint corrected and he re-​painted it. Artisan textures is the best, hands down. I am an Electrical contractor and make holes to run wire on a regular basis. I hire Artisan for every patch because they make it look as if I had never been ther in the first place. Travis Kelly, the owner of Artisan Textures, is the man. Plain and simple. If you need drywall work done, he’s the guy to call. He’s professional, on time, his quotes are very competitive, and he’s a really nice guy (I enjoyed chatting with him).
The context…
During the demo phase of our kitchen remodel I found mold behind the baseboards which ran the length of the wall. After abating the mold, I needed to hire a professional to replace and resurface (plaster) the drywall. It’s a fairly large wall so I got a couple of bids. Travis’ quote was by far the best and he came with many online accolades (Google his company’s name) so I decided to go with him. He did a fantastic job and finished on time.
A couple of days later I found another drywall problem behind the sink area (mold again). I identified the problem at 10 PM on Monday night. The cabinets were to be installed Wednesday morning so really, I needed to demo, replace, and resurface the drywall on Tuesday. Since I have zero drywall experience I contacted Travis Monday night. He got back to me in minutes and said he would be by the next day after his morning job. Since I was in a time crunch I wasn’t too concerned about cost, I just wanted to fix the problem so my kitchen install didn’t get behind schedule. Travis showed up the next day on time, fixed the problem, and best of all he did it for great price! I would have been ok paying a premium for the service since it was so last minute. Instead I got great service at a great price.
