I found Factory Direct Floor Store after several frustrating attempts with a few other flooring companies. I was originally interested in tile and carpet but decided on the most beautiful vinyl flooring ever and I’m so happy I switched! From the beginning, the customer service was amazing. I wasn’t rushed to choose a flooring and Valerie was extremely helpful with beginning the process and getting everything scheduled.
I am most impressed with Ben and his team — I trusted them completely with my house and my dogs and they did an amazing job. They arrived on time each day and left the house spotless during the whole process. I had all of my tile and carpet ripped up and brand new flooring installed in one week and I could not be happier. I so appreciate the care given to my home and making sure my dogs were okay during the whole process. Amazing customer service!

My husband and I just purchased a new house and wanted to match the existing laminate (from living room) to the master and guest bedroom. I came across Factory Direct Floor Store via Unilocal and I am so glad I found them!
Factory Direct Floor Store stood out to me because from the very start they had phenomenal customer service (Valerie Aleman) did such a great job answering all of my questions via phone. In addition, to great customer service their prices were very reasonable and competitive.
Before booking our service with Factory Direct Floor Store we did run into a minor issue. Such as having the wrong date scheduled for our final estimate. (luckily I called in advance to double confirm.) Although there was that setback, Valerie and the team re-​iterated that everything would be scheduled accordingly; and it was.
The day of the final estimate, Chris came out 15 minutes earlier then scheduled and did a phenomenal job. After we officially booked our service, everything went completely flawless! The installation was done in 2 days when we were quoted 3 (Even better) and the floor was identical to the already existing flooring we had in the house. The installers were professional, precise, and very respectful to our home. Thank you for your amazing service!

I can’t say enough positive things about Factory Direct Floor Store. My experience with this company and all of their employees deserves at least 10 stars! Ken and his crew were amazing and an absolute pleasure to work with. Our floors look incredible and Ken’s workmanship and passion for his craft is impeccable.

My wife ordered 2500 sq ft of a floor called Fossil, originally from Royal Oak Collection (D&M flooring) from this store. We had a very good experience here every time we went to look at the floors and hence after getting a good vibe and reading good Unilocal reviews, we ordered from here.
The problems started after our installer picked up the flooring and we observed that the floor color was very gray compared to the brown with little gray kind of look we had seen at the store. We understand that wood can have variations but even the store rep, Victoria agreed that what we got was very different and she followed up with the D&M floor rep. The floor rep guy told my wife that we had some «dumb luck» that the 5 boxes we opened were all this dark and we should expect to see a 40% of dark, 40% of light, etc as we open more and asked us to call back when we had opened up around 25 – 30 boxes which we promptly did. But since then the communication has been non-​existent. We told them that stopping the installation was not an option as we had scheduled this for that weekend almost 2 months back and we had lot of other things planned back to back and needed this done. If we stopped this, it meant we start the process of search again. check out other stores, other floors, order, wait, schedule installers again, etc. which might mean over a month’s delay at the least. We were expecting atleast an apology or some kind of retribution for this as we didn’t get the product we were expecting. We have now called them and emailed them few times but not heard back. I am very disappointed with the kind of service we got when it was required the most.

From the sales staff to the installers right from the start everyone was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
Found FD after searching Unilocal and getting a few quotes from other flooring stores in the area. In comparison this store rocks!
First impression when I walked into FD, friendly sales staff were on hand to answer questions and help out. Never felt pressured or rushed. They let me shop but were always close at hand to answer questions. My project was a relatively small job, but I was never treated like it was. The other places I visited didn’t come close to FD’s of level of customer service, professionalism, or prices.
The entire process from ordering flooring, scheduling and installation was quick and easy, and I couldn’t be happier with my new floors. Even with all the great Unilocal reviews I was still impressed. The installers went above & beyond, even took care of my dogs when I wasn’t there! Top notch group of people and the only place I will go to for my future flooring projects.

We went to 5 different flooring stores and found this one to be the most helpful and straightforward. They also had an amazing sale at the time! Their prices are good and installation fees are very competitive with others. We especially enjoyed our installer Kevin Gallagher, he did an amazing job! This was my first foray into flooring of any kind. The staff was very informative with helping me choose flooring that fit my needs. Pricing on all materials and installation was cheaper than the other 4 estimates I received. The quality of customer service and character from the installers, Ben and Mike, was priceless. They answered all of my questions and walked me through the process. I never felt hurried and despite the obligatory problems that arise, I never felt up-​sold or pressured into anything. They provided various solutions to problems and were attentive to my concerns. They laid approx. 2200 square feet in 5 days and it looks beautiful. I felt completely comfortable leaving them alone in my house and they on numerous times kept an eye on my animals. I unequivocally recommend Ben and Mike from Factory Direct Floor Store for quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service.

I did quite some research when shopping for hardwood floors and finally found Factory Direct Floor based on its review and location. I am very pleased with my choice.
The customer service is prompt and friendly. Ken and his crew arrived on time and finished the job within the expected time frame despite some difficulties with the ground (it’s not leveled very well so they need to spend extra time to fix it). Overall, they did an excellent job with great attention to details. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Very impressed with Factory Direct Floor Store, a professional company that knows their business. They had the best competitive prices as we did look around. The staff were great and kept in touch about delivery and times of arrival. Installers Ken and Todd were very quick and friendly, they were done a lot sooner than we thought! We are happy with our beautiful floors and would highly recommend their services!

Although we wanted hardwood, we had been looking for a good place to purchase laminate flooring (due to the price and our budget). When I was getting ready to pull the trigger on laminate with another supplier, my brother recommended I check out this place first for their great hardwood pricing. He had used Factory Direct himself in the past, and couldn’t stop raving about them. We were able to purchase gorgeous hand-​scraped maple hardwood and underlayment for only about 20 cents more per square foot than what the other place was going to charge for laminate and underlayment (the best price on those materials that we had found).
Factory Direct’s customer service is amazing, and their selection is phenomenal. You can even check out their samples so you can take them home and see how they look in your house. Once we made our selection, our flooring arrived in 2 days. My brother and I installed the flooring ourselves, but they also offer great pricing on professional install. I would highly, highly, highly recommend these guys!

I checked at least 4 different flooring stores before I decided to go with Factory direct. They had the best selection and made it very easy to take samples with me. I picked the wagon wheel laminate flooring for my rental condo. I got it offered by another store but it was 30cents more expensive so I knew I got a fair deal. Originally I had planned to install 500 ft on my own but decided otherwise after I got their price for the install which was very competitive! The install went flawless and the workmanship was very good, so all in all I had an excellent experience with this store!

I shopped at five flooring stores and found Factory Direct Floor Store had the best selection, price, installation and customer service. Jared was very helpful and carefully measured my floors. The laminate I chose was not immediately available but Valerie and Victoria kept me updated on the delivery status until it was in stock. I was able to schedule installation right away and the installers were amazing. Kevin and Janni were careful with my furniture, removed my tile quickly, did a beautiful job installing the laminate and base boards, and checked in with me all along the way. I am so happy with the finished result and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

We shopped around lots of shops in the area and found their prices to be very competitive and the exact style of floors we were seeking.
Staff is awesome and helpful as well. The installers we had knocked out the job in two days, a lot sooner than we anticipated.
Overall great experience and would come back if we needed floors again.

A wonderful job done by Factory Direct Floor Store!
We had the old carpet removed from our living room and office, replaced with laminate flooring. Both the rooms look awesome!
We searched many places for this job, but went ahead with these guys, based on the variety of laminates available (specifically in the shade that we wanted), their professionalism and reasonable price.
The laminate that we were looking for was not available right away, so Jared & Valerie helped us order it from the manufacturer, track the shipment and deliver to our footsteps. Even during the installation, there were a few high spots that the installers thought it needed extra grinding (and thus extra labor cost), Valerie came to our rescue and settled it with the installers without any extra cost.
We are very pleased with this installation & will surely go to them again for our next project!

Second House that we have used Factory Direct flooring. We used dark, wide, engineered flooring and both of them turned out great! We are finishing up a home add-​on as well as full house remodel down to the wood studs and these are the BEST contractors hands down that did the removal and install! We used Ben both times to install and can’t say enough good things about him and his expertise.

Factory Direct Floor Store has helped me with multiple flooring projects over the years that I have known them. I have always been pleased with the quality of the product, the price and the customer service they have provided. I have recommended them to a lot of people because I know they will get nothing but the best when it comes to service, selection and price.

Waited for 10 min. We weren’t even acknowledged nor did they offer to help after we asked. The customer service is questionable.

The selection of wood flooring and options to pick from were great. Being able to take the samples and lay them down inside and even outside in the sunlight to see the best option for us was perfect. Placing the order and having delivered on the date we asked worked out so well. The pricing was terrific and the installers did an amazing job. They showed up on time, completed the work faster than they committed and left my house looking great. They cleaned up each day and made sure we were pleased with how they left our house when completed. I highly recommend this business, I would certainly purchase additional flooring the future.

We were really short on time as we had a very ugly carpet in our new home and we just had 2 weeks before we had some guests coming over… So we were looking around for carpet stores as home depot said it would take them 6 weeks.
We found this store which had good reviews. we walked in on a thursday and met Greg. We told him our situation and he showed us a catalog and said all of those are in stock and if we pick those he could install in less than a week. He said on of his crew members is moving, so he can only come measure on monday but since we picked something thats in stock… Greg said that the worst case time for our installation would be the next friday and thats like the worst possible case…
So we had a carpet picked and a installation time set. we were happy we would get stuff done in time for our guests.
greg arrived on Monday. took measurements and left… he called me back at around 3pm that said that the carpet we ordered was out of stock and t would take them atleast 5 – 7 days for it to arrive and 2 weeks for installation… We were absolutely not ready for this surprise… we panicked. and went to the store to meet them as Greg promised that he could arrange something… we went there and Greg was not in the store… We met Tommy and he was really busy with 3 customers bugging him… We waited for almost 30 mins for him to talk to us and he said we can choose something else… they were absolutely unapologetic about the fact that they did not check/​block what we were promised 4 days ago… its just a waste of 4 days where we could have looked at other stores… After wasting about an hour in their store as they were just trying to stall us and make us use whatever they have. we just left…
We went to Click on floors close by… and since we just had 3 days… we wanted to see if Factory Direct could give us the measurements… and Tommy very rudely said. we dont do that…
I am really really upset by the way they conducted themselves once they realized we were moving on… it was very unprofessional and outright ridiculous…
I would not recommend them if you are in a time crunch or better yet have a back up…
