We charted a bus for the MLK holiday weekend to Las Vegas for the Vegas Cup Soccer Tournament. The excellence started with Randy L., the salesman. He couldn’t have been more professional or nicer. It just got better from there. We were provided a beautiful 47 passenger coach. The bus was sparkling clean, modern and very comfortable. I requested a female driver and got the best! Our driver, Carolyn, was absolutely fantastic. Not only was she an exceptionally safe and skilled driver, she was also just about the nicest, most pleasant and accommodating driver we could ever ask for. She remembered our names (there were 35 of us) and was so supportive, she even watched some of our soccer games! She drove us to and from the MGM to the soccer fields, and without any complaint or concern, found suitable parking when the MGM was not able to provide it. I could go on, and on, and on, but I think you will get the point. This is a fabulous company which provides very competitive and fair pricing, new model, clean and well-​equipped coaches, wonderful service from start to finish, and the best coach driver in the world! A+++ for the entire experience.

I highly recommend Goldfield Stage for any transportation needs. I booked them for my wedding in October and it was a smooth experience from the beginning. They’re responsive, and their customer service is on point. I booked a 30 passenger vehicle to provide a looping shuttle between the hotel and the venue. They went above and beyond what was expected of them. The driver even stopped to pick-​up guests that were walking from the main gate.
A major plus was their experience with military installations. Because my wedding was on a military base, all vendors had to be vetted through security. Goldfield Stage was able to provide me with all the information I needed in a timely manner to complete the process. When I spoke with other companies, they gave me the run around…“Well, we might not know who the driver is two weeks out.” «We will try to get you that information.» Goldfield Stage was confident and reassuring that they could provide me with what I needed. I used this company for a trip to Disneyland with high school students. Great Driver, clean busses, and great experience. I will use them again in the future. This is a much better alternative for Charter busses than San Diego Scenic Tours.

So I booked Goldfield for my wedding two weekends ago to transport my guests from our hotel to our venue. We wanted to provide a safe and convenient option for those who wanted to drink or simply didn’t want to drive the narrow roads in Fallbrook. I chose this company because of their good reviews and because they were referred by my wedding venue. I booked them 6 months prior to the wedding and felt confident everything would go smoothly. Unfortunately… that was NOT the case! We paid for 2 shuttles (able to carry 30 people each). Well the first shuttle arrived on time but only picked up 10 of my guests. There was a line of other guests starting to form and asked to get in but the driver told them to wait for the other shuttle. Why in the world would this driver make them wait when they were literally ready to go?! Well… the 2^nd shuttle NEVER showed up! At least half of my wedding guests had to drive themselves! Along with the stress and worry of myself and my guests (some of who traveled from as far as San Francisco!), this company caused my wedding to be delayed and shortened it by over an hour and a half! Turns out the 2^nd bus went to Pala Casino instead of Pala MESA Resort. I still have our contract where we clearly provided the exact address of the hotel and the fact that 1 bus made it and the 2^nd one didn’t just shows how unprofessional this company is. Their poor planning and horrible communication could have completely ruined my once in a lifetime wedding! I’m giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because they have us a full refund without a hassle. Bottom line… if you want reliable transportation service, stay away from Goldfield!!!

We used Goldfield Stage for our wedding guests to get to and from the hotel and wedding venue (Martin Johnson House and Sheraton La Jolla). They were on time and their 49 passenger bus was nice and clean. The entrance to the Martin Johnson House was very steep and narrow but the bus driver was awesome and got us through! Very happy we chose them!

I used Goldfield for a corporate event taking colleagues to and from the convention center to our site. I chartered a 47 passenger bus and a 13 passenger executive van. They were on time, professional and courteous and flexible with my last minute requests for time and location changes. I will definitely use them again for my events. On another note, my daughters school used them as their shuttle (4 buses) to LAX for a school trip and I knew she was in good hands. Great customer service. Thanks Elaine!

Flawless service. This company deserves an A+. The office — efficient and timely in handling the booking, bus drivers — knowledgeable and kind, coaches — modern & tidy. My group ended up having to spend an extra night due to a snow delay. The office added an extra day to my trip with to troubles. The price is right as is the service — BOOK THESE FOLKS!

My husband and I hired 2 buses from Goldfield Stage to transport our guests to and from Pala Casino Resort to the Grand Tradition in January. They were great! The buses were on time and guests were so thankful for the ride. We provided them with CDs and DVDs to play on the ride over which they did to enhance the experience. The communication leading up to the event was so easy. Our contact person got a new job right before our wedding, but Karen stepped right in and it was a seamless transition.

I recently hosted 24 people on a business trip in San Diego. I used Goldfield Stage for all of our group transportation needs. This included airport transportation and group transportation to events in town.
Daisy was very good to work with in getting everything set up. I host similar trips 2x per year and have done so for five years. Goldfield Stage was the best transportation provider I have worked with yet.
The vehicles (which ranged from sedans, to mini buses to tour buses) were all clean, updated and very nice.
Our drivers were very professional, courteous and friendly. I have to give special recognition to our driver for the first two days, Pam. Pam was a native of San Diego, very knowledgeable and fun. Our trips with Pam weren’t just transportation — they were tours! Great job!

A wonderful experience.
Everything was absolutely great. The driver David, was awesome. He kept us right on schedule and delivered us safely and unstressed to our destination. The bus was clean and smelled very pleasant. Everything was spic & span. The driver was courteous and went way beyond the call of duty helping us with our luggage. The bus was at the pickup location early enough for me to get all my equipment loaded before guests arrived. I recommend Goldfield highly.

There is nothing as sweet as going to an opening day in baseball. If you really want to do it right next year you need to get a block of 55 tickets and do it in style. This is just what we did. Goldfield picked us up in Scripps Ranch (bus was there 15 min earlier than was supposed to) and the bus was awesome. Not only was it clean and ready to go but the driver was awesome. Was talking on the loudspeaker to us and keeping us entertained on the way down. Once downtown at Pet Co we were dropped off right by the tailgate section and we all went on our ways to enjoy the pre opening day festivities. As promised after the game Rick was there with bus waiting for us and we all arrived home right on time. I have received many emails already saying how awesome the event was and thanking me and all I did was hire Goldfield Stage. They made me look awesome. I would recommend that anyone looking to make a Padres game a real special occasion to order a block of tickets and all go down together on a Goldfield Stage bus

I organized a big work-​related trip for 49 people to Big Bear and had a fantastic experience using Goldfield Stage as our charter bus company to transport us to the ski resort.
Getting a quote and securing a reservation was pretty simple and straight forward. I e-​mailed with their sales agent Daisy to inquire about availability of a bus and later had to request another quote as the date of our trip changed. The pay terms required payment 2 weeks prior to our trip, so I was able to secure the reservation without putting money down initially which was helpful since processing payments internally at my workplace takes some time.
Communicating with the company was easy, as I made follow up calls to make sure they received our payment and also to send them a map and route as to exactly where to pick up our group.
I just cared about having transportation to get us to the ski/​snowboard resort, but Goldfield really stood out due to the excellent service by our driver, Joe O, who was on time, always friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. He was also a pleasure to chat with. We arrived prior to 5:30AM (we were scheduled to depart at 6AM). He absolutely shined as a service provider, graciously assisting with putting supplies into the lower bus compartment and counting empty seats to make sure we weren’t leaving anyone behind. He drove us safely and smoothly to the resort in ~3 hours as scheduled. After we disembarked, he made sure the bus was locked up as we left and attended to the vehicle for basically the entire day in case people needed to come back to pick up a belonging.
When we arrived back to San Diego, our driver helped load leftover supplies and empty food boxes back to my vehicle, and went through the bus to make sure articles weren’t left behind. One of our passengers ended up leaving valuable personal belongings (iPhone, and Google Glass!) on the bus, but it was fantastic that the items were returned to the bus company’s main office in El Cajon, safe and sound, where he later retrieved them.
The only thing that was odd was that we were quoted for a 49-​person bus, but we ended up having four or five extra seats. Would’ve been nice if Goldfield had updated their records because then we could have taken more people on our trip.

Recently, my company had an event in San Diego for 100 employees. We contracted with Goldfield Stage to handle our transportation needs from our hotel in La Jolla to a dinner event in San Diego and also from our hotel to our company’s plant in Escondido. The customer service was excellent; the buses were very nice and clean. The staff was very courteous letting me know how to reach them if our departure times changed. I would highly recommend this reliable transportation service to any company.

Our group, Fred’s Playland took this group to Los Angeles for our cruise, and back home to San Diego. the gentleman that took us up, and the woman who drove us back were very nice, kind, and helpful, as well as got us there and back as quickly as the law allows and the drive was very comfortable. Our office held a Las Vegas Excursion this month. We had a wonderful driver for the 49 passenger bus. She was knowledgeable, courteous and actually lots of fun! She had to maneuver a tricky situation late at night upon delivering us to the hotel entrance — and she was fantastic! All safe and sound, and a very minimal trek to the lobby doors… Our driver also took us to Fremont Street. Coming home we were all amazed how smooth the trip was and we made it in record time — safe and sound. Working with the office for payment, specs and accommodating all our questions was a plus as well. Good job Goldfield Stage — we appreciate your company…

We hired Goldfield Stage at the end of August to shuttle our wedding guests on a 28 passenger minibus from our host hotel to our wedding venue at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot. In researching various transportation options, Goldfield Stage was the most responsive and most reasonably priced compared to other bus companies. All of our interactions with the staff at Goldfield were great. When I contacted Karen at Goldfield with any questions or concerns, she was always quick to respond and fully addressed the question or concern. On the day of the wedding, our driver, Juan, arrived at the hotel early and kept in touch with us to make sure pick-​ups and drop-​offs went smoothly — this was really important, as we were on a tight timeline. The shuttle ran continuously between the hotel and the venue and Juan still made a last pick up from the venue even after we had already gone over the timeframe allocated. Our guests really appreciated not having to worry about driving to the wedding and thought the minibus was so convenient. It was such a relief to know that our guests were able to come and go from our wedding without a hitch. We’d definitely recommend Goldfield to anyone looking for a reliable and friendly transportation company.

«Our uniformed, friendly and courteous drivers, …» they state on their website? Well if you manage to speak to one of them i.e. they actually pcik you up instead of hanging out at a 7/​11, leaving a load of passengers baking in the sun AFTER they have already screwed up and sent the wrong bus, well what a treat you are in for. You can look forward to being yelled at by a horror in a lovely blouse warning you that she is outta here in 5 minutes, 5 minutes after she has said she is leaving in 15 minutes. Being generally horrible is not something to look for in a coach co., but if you like that, then these clowns are for you.

We hired Goldfield to transport guest to and from our wedding as parking was limited at the venue. The venue was down some narrow winding roads so we hired a 21 person bus. Furthermore, they told us that they would drive the route before to be certain that there would be no problems. Thus, we were confident that everything would go well.
On the day they showed up with a huge 50+ person coach. The coach was far to big for the road and took a very long time to make the first drop off. The driver told us that she would go and switch the coach for a more suitably sized bus. In the mean time our guests (at this point around 20 people) were left waiting in the midday sun in the middle of La Mesa during summer. This forced us to start using our cars to run our own shuttle service.
As a result Goldfield’s incompetence I spent the first two hours of my wedding reception organizing riders for people and apologizing to guest that have been abandoned in the middays sun.
The company were kind enough to offer us half our money back but $ 300 doesn’t even begin to compensate us for the damage that they did to our special day.

We use Goldfield Stage once a year to transport children from the Convention Center in Downtown San Diego to various amusement parks around the county. They are always wonderful to deal with. I never have to worry about this aspect of the logistics of my planning. Their invoice and billing system works great, and the managers in sales, etc. are wonderful and friendly. The coaches always arrive right on time (early, in fact), and the drivers are personable and competent. I look forward to using Goldfield Stage again next year, and for many years to come.
