Buyers bewear. I got a 2007 Nissan Titan from them. When I showed up and saw the car, the paint was peeling in the front and panals were miss aligned. The sales man told me it was never in a accedent because it’s not on the carfax. I work at a body shop and know better then to beleve carfax. I later find out the truck has frame damage. Then during test drive the check engine light turns on and he tells me there is nothing wrong and blames it on another customer driving it too fast on a test drive. What kind of idiot do u think I am… I still buy the truck because I got a decent deal on it but I find out that it has 4 random catalytic converters welded in the exhaust and the check engine light is for the cat. There is obviously no way this truck would pass smog how it was cuz it can’t go 20 miles without the check engine light on. Don’t buy from these guys. They just lie and act like u don’t know anything and sell junk cars. Now I’m stuck with a truck that I need to spend almost 4 grand to just pass smog

People do not buy cars from these people there some crooks my husband had finance a Infiniti fx 35 from them and they turned the check engine light off from the car and it turned on a day later after we bought it and I took it to oil stop turns out that it has $ 8,000 worth of problems that I had to fix than how much the car is worth plus now there not trying to give us our down payment and the manager was very rude insulting my husband when he is the one who sold us a car that has problems I do not recommend no one to buy cars from them

I made the big mistake of buying A 03 ford Expedition from these people
the purchase price was allready set and signed after that they wanted
another 300.00 dollars mind you this was after the purchase price was signed
I knew their was A electrical problem with the interior lights and was told that
the vehicle was A perfect runner on the way home it started running very rough

ACA cars of Dublin — that’s apparently their previous name. I strongly suggest that you look it up on Unilocal and read the reviews, which is a series of 1 star. Seems like they were doing illegal stuff, according to those reviews.
Don’t waste your precious time on this horribly rude «manager».
He didn’t even know how to talk like normal people.

This place is the true definition of a lemon lot. Bought a car here, which they sold me illegally. Check engine light was on, as well as a few other lights. The salesman said it was just faulty sensors. Got the car home and more lights started popping up, and white smoke started coming out of the car. They sold me the car without a smog. Shady. They are only interested in pawning off cars that they don’t even check. Avoid this place at all costs. If I could give this place zero stars… I would.

Everyone has a job to do, salespeople and customers. As you shop for a used car, please do your due diligence. Had a trusted mechanic around the corner inspect the car, and it had a decent list of needed repairs. Being an older car it was understandable, but not that much. They offered to fix some things then proceeded to tell me what my total would be with $ 1,000 slashed off (still overpriced). I overlooked that song and dance then gave a number I was comfortable with (low end kbb retail for a car needing minimal repairs) and they declined. Told me I wouldn’t find something better to which I disagreed. They have mostly high-​end cars, so what I was looking at was chump change. Glad they declined my offer because I found the same car two years younger, flawless and with 33,000 less miles elsewhere. Live and learn, I did my homework. Karma and my angels were looking after me yesterday. They will eventually sell the car to some unfortunate unsuspecting soul.
Overall impression of the place: Only men salespeople that I saw on a Saturday, and I can only describe the office as portables feeling like a man cave. Not a dealership setting. Looks like an impound yard with security fence off the beaten path. Hate to say this, but for a woman that place can be creepy and intimidating.
Silver lining: Discovered Ray’s Auto on Dublin Blvd, a godsend (also wrote a review of them)

This review has been long over due BUT I wanted to firstly say THANK YOU to Ed, Alex and Ryan for helping my boyfriend and I find the perfect car for us. We actually found this place by accident and when first walking up I thought it was just an auction and I wanted to keep moving along. My boyfriend was the one who told me to give it a shot. I am very glad that we did. We were greeted by their friendly desk lady who referred us to Ed. Ed took his time to show us around the lot and asked us our price range and was just an easy and friendly guy who didn’t push anything on us. After deciding on a few vehicles, Alex and Ryan helped us with the best deal that worked for our budget and even offered to fix and repaint our bumper for free.
Bay Area Auto World went over and beyond our expectations and really took care of us. That night we noticed that one of the lights were not working so we made some calls and they fixed it for us at no charge AND a few days after that Alex called me saying that the banks worked out a better deal for us. Truly a blessing and I appreciate all the help they had did for us and will be referring our family and friends.
Ed, I hope we get to see you before your trip. Alex thank you for working with us and giving us the best advice on our car loan and Ryan it was a pleasure meeting you and we hope you get your dream car next year :)

These guys are SHADY!!! The 1-​star reviews speak to my experience!
Where to begin, I was looking at a car online, a red ’05 Saab 9−2x, and saw that Bay Area Auto World had one that looked nice and had all of the features I wanted listed $ 9,999… over priced, but good on milage and looked good from the pictures and had a clean carfax. I called, spoke to Joe, and he told me to come down and check it out, so on Sunday, I drove out to the lot and test drove it.
I liked the car, but was not going to pay that much for a Saab, Joe said he could get me a good deal, dropped $ 1000 from the price right away, but I kept getting bad vibes from him, so after discussing a fair price with another salesman, Alexi and agreeing to $ 7200 contingent on the car getting an OK from a third party mechanic, which I have in a text message, I took half a day off work on Tuesday to have the car looked at. After I paid almost $ 100 out of pocket for the mechanic’s report, which stated that the car was sound, although it had it had minor seepage at the head gasket, common for that engine, and according to the mechanic the car was otherwise sound and in great shape. When I went back to the dealer to seal the deal, Joe told me that BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT THE SEEPAGE WAS MAJOR DAMAGE!!!(THAT THEY NEGLECTED TO MENTION) and it’s not, that the car would cost $ 7900!!!
To summarize, we negotiated a price of $ 7200, and because the mechanic I paid for said that the car was not majorly damaged, they decided to add $ 700 to the price we had agreed upon, because they thought they were screwing me over. It was slightly bemusing to hear Joe try to defend his actions as not overtly skeevy and disingenuous. My bad vibes confirmed, I can only hope that nobody else should have to experience that. Avoid this shady business at all costs!

after purchasing the vehicle The check engine light came on and the oil light shortly after. I bought the car with 126,694 miles on 3÷17÷15 and the cars lights and major oil leak happened on 3÷18÷15 with 126 876 miles. thats less than one day and 182 miles. thinking back to my test drive and checking the oil, i recall it being funny that my test drive was back and forth down a mall road and only lasted a few minutes and when my dad came by later to look at the car, the saleman was in a rush to turn off the car when we had it running to see if everything was running ok. the car was towed back on 3÷19÷15 and which point i asked for a refund of my down payment. i was denied the refund by alex who was very rude and condescending to me but also my mother. Alex proceeded to request to have his «in house» guy look at the car I denied his request and tried to compromise finding a local mechanic with an unbiased opinion look at the car, alex quickly denied. when trying to leave, one of the salesman placed his hand on my back and was nudging me forward asking that we stay and tried to close the door behind me keeping us in the office. I asked him not to touch me and after he did it again (forcefully or not) i told him if he touched me again that they were going to have bigger problems. at this point another salesman ouside of the managers office intervened and told me I was going to be the one with the problem and stood up like he was going to do something. after some verbal back and forth between The NEW saleman involved, The whole sales team had to hold this guy back from attacking me.
after this, my mother and I left. Alex followed us out and asked if we could still work it out. I then asked to know the name and certifications of his mechanic and was told by alex that it wasnt relevant.
NOT RELEVANT!!! would i take my kids to see a guy who claims to practice medicine but wont show me credentials. would I have someone do my taxes by someone who claims to be a professional but wont show me his certifications?
Bay area Autoworld is in fact Alameda county auctions. they say they just share a building and a lot but they do in fact stamp all their papers with alameda county auction. their cars are all crap and they are liars and try to intimidate their CUSTOMERS!!!

We bought a 350Z from Bay Area Autoworld this past Saturday. Brought it back to BAA on Monday for detailing and fixes: dome light not working, passenger window not working, trunk spring not working. Got a call Monday afternoon that car was ready to be picked up. Dome light still not working, window still not working. Left the car for the same fixes. BAA needs a quality control person to make sure all fixes are done before calling the customer. It’s now Wednesday, March 4, 2015. I will update this post when we get the car back.

The staff was extremely kind and welcoming. They were very eager to help me out and find a car that is somewhere within my price range and that is suitable for my situation. They were also really helpful and flexible with financing, and really helped us with getting the car i have now.

I bought my 2007 Mercedes C230 today from this dealership, and they made it an easy process. They even got me a great rate on my financing (better than I expected). Thank you Elias & Ryan for making it such a great experience. We will be back again the next time we are in the market for a vehicle!

On the craigslist ad it said the car was clean. Drove there an hour and a half only to find that the car a bunch of problems. The headlights didn’t work, the driver side visor was broken (they said they’d send a replacement lol), there were paint chips on the front end, the A/​C didn’t work, and upon starting the car there was a burning oil smell. I guess the dashboard of the car was clean therefore it’s a clean car eh? I feel like it’d be a gamble to buy from this place. They buy cars from auction and it doesn’t look like they have any kind of inspection to make sure the vehicles run properly. What a waste of my time going there; I had a cashier’s check and everything ready to drive a car home!

So to update my review I understand what kind of car I bought, and what it is capable of. as far as my quotes and diagnosis of my vehicle’s repair cost. They are spot on. I had my vehicle diagnosed by a BMW Dealer with factory trained BMW technicians, specifically on
BMW M vehicles and by a second shop both quotes are almost identical. Although I appreciate your offer for a referral to a shop for a third opinion. i would politely decline seeing as how your pre vehicle inspection failed to notice low oil level and a desperate need for an oil change. And the MAIN CAUSE FOR MY FRUSTRATION aproxametly$$$ 5,000.00 in MAINTENENCE cost and an un driveable vehicle all less than one month after purchasing. (LESS THAN 1000 miles of driving) NO MY REVIEW IS NOT UN FAIR. WHAT IS UNFAIR IS THE WAY YOU GUYS CONDUCT BUSINESS (STAY AWAY GO TO A REAL DEALER FOR THE SAME PRICE I COULD HAVE GOT A CERTIFIED PREOWNED. INSPECTED BY CERTIFIED FACTORY TRAINED TECHNICIANS

Went in for my son to look at cars. They were all very friendly. Our salesman was John aka «Lil Joey». He was very nice and personable. I had a million questions on a lot of cars and he was very patient with me. He took the time to start up cars, move them, let us test drive them, etc. He is a real people person and also loves to coach baseball. Needless to say we bought a car. So far… it’s great. My son is pleased with his choice. I leave with this scripture as I believe that «integrity» will far out reach any wealth of the world. John was a man of his word. I appreciate that.

Went in a couple weeks ago to look at some cars for my cousin but then we end up buy a car for my aunt and uncle instead. We bought the ML550 AMG. They guys are super nice and friendly we couldn’t be happier with their service. Not only were they nice they really worked with us and helped us out a lot to get us a good deal! Thanks so much guys! Was looking to sell my old car and purchase a new used car. Had a great experience with my sales advisor Sanjay. Got a fair price for my trade-​in and purchased a 2008 Dodge Charger. So far, very happy with the purchase and would do business with them again. Would have given them 5 stars, but after all it was still a used car and can’t give a used product a perfect rating. With all that said, they did give me a better price for my trade-​in then the major brand dealers in the area and happy with the new ‘used’ purchase

Elias called us about our interest in a 2003 diesel Jetta Wagon last Friday and we explained that we were driving down to see it on Sunday from our home, four hours upstate. We asked him to let us know if it sold in the meantime because it was a long drive.
However, when we arrived to see it, it was in the shop and we had not been notified. That is an 8 hour round trip and a lot of gas WASTED!
Elias had my phone number and did not bother to call me and let me know that it was not available. Right now, he should just consider himself lucky that I didn’t call for his manager on the spot because I was livid.
No matter how rare this vehicle is, I will NEVER do business with such a discourteous company.

Came here with my brother-​in-​law hoping to purchase a used car that looked good online at
. called and spoke with someone there and drove an hour there from San Francisco.
As soon as we pulled up, my gut feeling was telling me to run, but since it was my bother buying the car, I let him get a feel for things. We met Eli and Alexi and they took us to the car. I noticed it was dirty and Alexi asked us to excuse the dirtiness of the car since there was rain in the past 2 days. There was NO rain in the past 2 days, just mist and it wouldn’t have caused the car to be covered in dirt!
I was reading the Unilocal reviews and all of a sudden hear my brother say, «if the battery’s dead and I can’t drive it, I’m not interested.» Alexi acted as if it was no big deal, «its not a problem, we can replace for you now. Yes?» We walked outta there ASAP!
Should’ve known better… all negative Unilocal reviews are spot on!!! Cars looked like they were just impounded from the local police that were confiscated from drug dealers or auto thefts. Not good!

To all you folks writing negative reviews, I sincerely doubt you’ve ever bought a car at BAA. To those seeing low stars, do not let them dissuade you from checking these guys out! Seriously a wonderful experience.
My car reached its bitter end just as I was beginning to look for a new one. The one I wanted was at Bay Area Autoworld. My dad and drove up there to find a place that spent little on useless showrooms and used the difference to make their cars more affordable to student-​types (and anyone else who likes a good deal) like me.
I have trouble committing to big decisions and the car I wanted really required a warranty at a higher price point to cover a turbocharged engine. It would’ve broken the bank, but Ryan Conrad the financial manager pushed numbers around and made it possible. …even though it was literally minutes until closing and the end of the month.
They kept the doors open for us and Sanjay Sen – the best-​humored sales advisor – worked out a way with us to get the car detailed by them (it’s a standard part of the buying process) on one of the following days as their crew was long gone by then.
If you like to feel comfortable while trying out cars and are interested in a good deal and think conversations about goat meat are funny, give these guys your attention.
