Karen and her attentive team hosted my daughters wedding and we could not have hoped for a more beautiful, seamless event. The venue, grounds, bridal room… all were spectacular. Even having to go to «plan B» there was no disappointment. The Trellis was just lovely and gave the feeling of being outdoors. Ma Maison truly helped to give my daughter and her fiancée a dream wedding. Thanks to Karen and all who made this happen! One of our best choices ever!

Came here for a wedding and the atmosphere was impeccable. Outdoor wedding– beautiful, Pinterest worthy. Would love to have my wedding at a place this lovely. Be careful driving– it’s a pretty windy road once you get into dripping springs.

I got married at Ma Maison this May and I cannot say enough about this wonderful venue or about Karen and her wonderful team. As soon as I walked into the bridal suite, I knew this was where I had to get married-​I even cried! Karen thought of everything; the flow of the venue is PERFECT, not one detail missing. Both bride and groom get a private suite. Multiple ceremony site options, a beautiful built in rain plan. Every single corner of this place is photo opp worthy. And that is just the venue! What really sets Ma Maison apart is the support Karen provides. She is so knowledgeable and gives amazing support and advice. She even collected some rain water from our special day for us to save – and yes, we did have to use the rain plan, and the built in option is so beautiful! She really does think of EVERYTHING. We had such a wonderful experience here, and our wedding was absolutely gorgeous. Thanks so much Karen and family! We loved sharing the beginning of the rest of our lives with you. XOXO

Having our wedding at Ma Maison was a dream come true. Besides the fact that the property is STUNNING, working with Karen and her team was incredible. My husband and I fell in love with Ma Maison via their website and photos. We looked at other Hill Country venues online, but nothing compared to Ma Maison in our eyes. They have literally thought of every single detail when it comes to weddings. From the mission bells that the couple can ring after the ceremony to the gorgeous bridal suites (with direct access to the restrooms — which is critical for a roomful of women) to the flow from each ceremony site to the reception hall — they have it mastered. They even converted the bridal suite to a private dining room for my husband and I so we could eat and spend some alone time as Mr. and Mrs. following the ceremony. Not to mention there are photo opps around every corner. Our outdoor wedding was in early April at the peak of bluebonnet season and the photos are breathtaking. Our guests could not stop raving on about how beautiful and perfect Ma Maison is. Ma Maison is a precious gem in the Dripping Springs area and I feel so lucky to have had the most important day of my life there!

I knew right when I walked in to Ma Maison that I couldn’t get married anywhere else. Karen Moise, the venue owner, is a God sent. She went above and beyond to make our wedding a dream come true for us, our families, and our guests. She has years of wedding planning experience, so she is very knowledgable and friendly with all of the best vendors in Austin. She even helped us plan out a budget that worked for us so we could afford our dream wedding. And she is just one of the many fabulous things about this beautiful venue. It has a rustic feeling like some of the other venues in the area but it’s elegance and versatility are completely unique. And they will do everything in their power to customize their venue to fit your personality and your vision. Our experience at Ma Maison was nothing short of amazing. I simply can’t say enough good things about it! Do yourself a favor and check it out. You won’t regret it!

I got married at Ma Maison on 11÷7÷2015 and it was a DREAM! My husband and I knew this venue was the one right away. It offers everything you could possibly want/​need in a venue and it is absolutely breathtaking. We have not stopped receiving compliments on our wedding venue. I HIGHLY recommend Ma Maison to brides who are searching for the perfect venue, because this is it!

My daughter was married last weekend at Ma Maison and the experience exceeded all my expectations. Not only did we love it, but over and over our guests commented on how much they loved the venue. There is an elegant yet rustic charm that permeates the building and grounds and sets the foundation for shaping your experience. We started the afternoon with welcoming bubbles in the green cathedral and the ceremony was held in the grove. Cocktails under the trellis was followed by dinner in the magnificent great hall. While many danced in the great hall many more enjoyed the evening out on the grounds or under the trellis. I did not know the fountain in the lake in was so spectacular until I saw it at night. While all these areas are great for guests, the preparation areas are also wonderful and combined create great opportunities for photos and memories. In the year from setting the date to the actual event we noticed several updates to the grounds, so I think this will remain one of the best, if not the best, wedding venues for the Austin area. The staff was helpful from beginning to end and the recommendations for vendors was beyond helpful. Every aspect, the food, the day-​of wedding planner, the cake, the DJ, the flowers, the photographer, and some props we added from Bee Lavish all came together creating a truly magical experience that I and others will not forget.

The venue was the perfect location for our big day. We couldn’t have been happier with the service we were provided. Pictures definitely do not show just how beautiful the place really is.

The moment I stepped onto the Ma Maison property I knew it was where I wanted to be married. Karen and her daughter Rachel were AMAZING at showing us what all the venue had to offer (which is a lot!) and how it could be the perfect fit for me and my husband. With the multiple ceremony locations, the incredible bridal and groom suites, the reception hall that was elegant yet you could make it your own, the cozy patio, the fire pit, the pond… I mean, I could go on, it had so many elements that made it the perfect versatile spot for the perfect wedding. And what’s even better is you can have your ceremony and reception in the same place! I always appreciate when I don’t have to travel from the ceremony to the reception. Karen and Rachel were so attentive, and gracious with their space and décor. We used their complimentary wine barrels, lanterns, chairs, tables, chalk board paintings, etc to make our venue look incredible the day of. And I know this rarely happens but our day went flawlessly. I have nothing but large amounts of thanks and gratitude for everyone at Ma Maison who made this day perfect and I hope so many others experience their perfect wedding day here like I did!

Ma Maison was the venue for our beautiful spring wedding. As you can see from the photos, Ma Maison offers breath taking ceremony sites and reception hall. What you can’t see from the pictures, however, is the owner and her wonderful hospitality. From day one Karen was welcoming, caring, and full of great advice. She helped us numerous times throughout the planning process and the day of the wedding itself. She and her venue were our favorite part of planning the wedding and it was the best choice we could have made. Thank you Karen, again, for your priceless advice and for opening your doors to hosting our beautiful wedding!

I truly cannot find enough superlative adjectives to do justice in describing Ma Maison. We had a dream team of vendors supporting us leading up to and on our wedding day, but the best decision we made in our planning process, hands down, was choosing Ma Maison as our venue.
I knew it was perfect for our wedding within five minutes of stepping onto the property — and it was still under construction at the time! I wanted all of the rustic beauty of the Hill Country, but in an elegant, perfectly polished setting with the ability to comfortably accommodate our 275 guests (plus a 10-​piece band and big dance floor!). Ma Maison offered this, but also so much more. Their grounds are absolutely stunning. The property is expansive, with rolling hills as far as you can see, a lovely lake with a rowboat and windmill, shady oak trees… and they are even planting fields of bluebonnets! Dripping Springs is also a perfect wedding venue location, from a convenience perspective. It is far enough from Austin such that you feel very much in the heart of the Hill Country, but you can also book hotel blocks and host other wedding weekend events in the city, as we did.
Ma Maison offers three beautiful outdoor ceremony sites, but given the unpredictability of Texas weather, we also needed an equally beautiful Plan B. The Great Hall is stunning with a dozen crystal chandeliers and wood beams adorning the vaulted ceiling, a stone fireplace, two alcoves, polished concrete floors, a grand staircase, and a Juliette balcony overlooking the downstairs. This was always meant to be our reception site, but due to inclement weather, my husband and I were the first couple to also hold our ceremony in the Great Hall. Ma Maison also offers the covered Trellis as a Plan B ceremony site, which is lovely, with strung bistro lights and an adjacent stone fire pit. We used this area for our cocktail hour, as an incredible team flipped the Great Hall in just 45 minutes for our reception.
Ma Maison also offers benefits and resources I didn’t even know I needed when we chose to book it. These include three beautiful wood bars, fruitwood chairs, walnut Chivari chairs, round tables, cocktail tables, farmhouse tables, wine barrels, lounge furniture, and tons of gorgeous décor, such as lanterns, easels, and grape crates. They also have a large, fully equipped caterer’s kitchen and green room for your entertainment. Another fun, convenient touch is their beautifully furnished Bride’s Salon, which opens into a private rose garden, and the Texas-​themed Groom’s Den, which is adjacent to a grassy area with lawn games.
Finally, and most importantly, Karen Moise and her family (the owners of Ma Maison) were a gift to me in so many ways throughout my engagement and on my wedding day. Karen has such vision and beautiful taste and was an invaluable resource as we were determining our layout (particularly when we had to reorient everything for our rain plan!). She is also such a warm, kind, calming presence and is a joy to have supporting you on your wedding day. I was so very grateful for her.
Again, there aren’t enough words to describe how much we loved Ma Maison! We hope to have the chance to return there for friends’ weddings in the future, to relive our incredible evening there once again.

As an event planner it is important to have venues that are flexible and versatile. I have worked at Ma Maison a couple of times now and I really love this venue. It is a gorgeous space with many different options for ceremonies and the main hall has so many different ways to make it beautiful. The setting was designed to be gorgeous as is, but it is a simply fabulous palette to host any type of event, weddings, social or corporate events would all be stunning in this space! Karen and Ken are great to work with and I look forward to working at this awesome wedding venue again! I would recommend this venue to any bride!

Ma Maison was our dream wedding venue come to life. After touring close to 20 ceremony and reception sites, everything paled in comparison once we stopped in to visit Ma Maison. Even though it was still under construction when we first came by, we were hooked. It is not your typical hill country restored barn or converted cottage, but a truly one-​of-​a-​kind, sophisticated and elegant event space. The drive out to the venue is a quick and easy 40 minutes from downtown Austin and is very accessible right off of Highway 290, nestled back in the hills off Bell Springs Road. When you arrive, you are greeted through a giant wrought iron gate welcoming you to the grounds. There is a ton of parking available and special access in the back just for your vendors to load in. Everything is brand spanking new and in top notch condition. Once you step inside the venue, The Great Hall itself is quite the sight to behold — warm and inviting with 8 ginormous, breathtaking chandeliers and special ordered intricate mirrors adorning the walls. The dark walnut-​stained wood used to construct the interior is gorgeous and compliments the lighting, large open space, and high ceilings. There’s a grand staircase leading right up to a small landing that creates a perfect space for an open air Photo Booth or your dessert tables. The Juliet balcony they built to overlook the party going on downstairs is an awesome extra touch and great for people watching. The bridal suite is a magical, romantic room created to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Private bathroom, flat screen TV, wireless speaker system — the works. The décor and furniture inside the suite is simply divine — my description would not do it justice (just go check it out!). We ended up taking a bunch of photos inside the bridal suite, it was that beautiful and worth capturing. There’s also a special groom’s suite too with a flat screen TV, leather couches and a private area outside. There’s a really cool covered trellis patio with misters and fans and cute strung lighting. It made the perfect spot for our pre and post ceremony cocktail hour. Our wedding was over Labor Day weekend, so we did not utilize the fire pit, but it is encompassed by rocking chairs and looks very cozy. One of the many great things about Ma Maison and is that they allow you the freedom to select your own vendors so you are not restricted in any way. Your rental fee includes ceremony and reception tables and chairs which are in great condition and made of high quality materials. The venue also supplies farmhouse tables and handcrafted bars on wheels so you can move them anywhere you want. The bars are huge and awesome. The kitchen is a caterers dream come true — it’s huge! You can tell that the venue layout and décor very was carefully thought out and creatively designed. Again, go check it out! Above all though, the Moise family were incredible to work with. No matter how many emails or phone calls, both Karen and her daughter Rachael were there to help us with anything (ANYTHING). You can tell they genuinely love what they do and it shows in how they treat you, your family and friends, and your vendors. I was so impressed by how they had thought of everything a wedding could need, big and small. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a unique and memorable hill country wedding that feels like home. At Ma Maison, you are treated like family. We booked Ma Maison as our wedding venue before it was completed because we believed in the vision of the owners — and because of the beautiful property and the wonderful hill country views. It was special to be able to visit it during the construction process and see the beauty grow.
We got married there in April 2014, and we were one of the first couples to get the honor to enjoy the venue. It all came together as promised. The terrace area for the cocktail hour was a wonderful place for our guests to arrive, and the large hall was amazing for our reception. There are three outside ceremony sites, and we chose to get married in from of «The Grand Cathedral,» which is an elaborate, beautiful structure that the owner constructed by hand.
The owners, Ken and Karen Moise, were great to work with. They didn’t mind our dropbys during construction, which helped my now wife’s nerves about committing to a place still being built. They recommended some excellent vendors to us, especially our coordinator Alisha Anderson from Texas Hill Country Events. Karen and Alisha combined forces to make our wedding run smoothly, despite last minute timeline changes that we created. There may or may not have been a helicopter and fireworks — marrying an only daughter turned out to be extra exciting — and they adapted to all of this with grace.
One of the first things that Karen said to us was, «Ma Maison is French for ‘my house.’ On your wedding day, we want you to feel like this is your home.» We certainly felt at home, not only because of the wonderful venue, but because of how we were treated by the Moises every step of the way.

I am a Bride that went out to look at this venue. The staff were unfriendly and rude. I had an appointment with Karen’s daughter when we arrived at the venue she was still with another bride who had gotten stuck in the mud (Do not follow your iPhone directions), So Karen then showed us around the grounds but i felt like she was distracted. Multiple times Karen answered her phone during mid-​sentence with out apologizing or excusing her self. Not once did she introduce her self to my Mother or Bridesmaids that where with me. It was just an awful experience. The venue I’m sure will be wonderful but the staff in my eyes will not put you first.
