Mountain Breeze Heating & Air

Mountain Breeze installed our furnace 7 years ago. The heat exchanger has a 20 year warranty associated with it. I discovered, while speaking with a contractor that is finishing our basement that this part is failing. Mountain Breeze sent a tech and confirmed that this part was failing and was under warranty. He then quoted me $ 1,295.00 to replace the part. This company does NOT stand behind its work and is a scam to customers. Why have a warranty if its not covered. I will never use this company again.

This is a company that we had heard wonderful things about, and our experience only confirmed what stellar service they provide to all of their customers. The owner, Jim, came out to give us his estimate & was able to get us an appointment the following day for installation, as my fiancé was desperate for AC as soon as possible, given the recent heat! Larry and Dylan were the technicians who lead the install; in addition to being prompt, professional and extremely knowledgeable, they were great conversationalists and very accommodating. They arrived and got right to work, set everything up and then went above and beyond by cleaning out our ducts as best they were able to, which were FILTHY and needed to be entirely cleaned out (ew, I know). They provided us with a referral to a company who could come out to clean the ducts in their entirety to their satisfaction, and made our safety a known priority with the ducts having consisted of too much dust/​dog hair to be left without maintenance. We would never hesitate to use them again, recommend them to our own families and everyone else we know.

Came out to replace a part that I had gotten told would cost me $ 650, after $ 220 «diagnostic» for $ 375. Knowledgeable chatty tech did the work in 20 minutes.

I had Mountain Breeze Heating service the furnace at my business and install a new furnace at my parent’s home. In both cases they did a GREAT job! We called on Friday morning to schedule the new furnace install and by noon that same day they were on the property working. The install at my parent’s home was not an easy task and they stayed late on a Friday night to make sure that the entire project was completed before the weekend. They fully explained the work they did and how to operate the new furnace. Everyone I spoke to, from the receptionist to the service technicians was friendly and professional. We always call them for any HVAC needs in the future.

I wouldn’t use them again — I wasn’t happy with the level of service I received. FIrst, the technician missed my appointment window, and I didn’t receive a call from the company. I called them at the end of my window, and received an apology — their internet was down so they couldn’t make any calls (I’m not sure what VOIP system can accept calls but not make them if the system is down?). No apology from the technician — in fact, he wasn’t friendly at all.
I asked them to come out and do an AC tuneup ($ 69), and to fix a condenser pump that wasn’t working. The tuneup was completed, and the pump fixed but I was told that one of the pistons in my central furnace was the wrong size, and that was why there was a bit of noise in that tube/​piston junction.
We decided to replace it at quite a steep cost for such a tiny little part (it was explained that the AC had to be drained and refilled of coolant in order to complete the repair). The technician was here for many hours (about 5+), and didn’t seem to be in a hurry to complete the job. He had to go out for a part and was gone for a while. I had to leave my home before he was done (he was at my house past 6 pm!), and we had to settle up the tab. The price he quoted me for the part replacement was NOT the final price he gave me, so I was very dissatisfied with that situation– he said the price he quoted me was only to replace the piston and didn’t include the tuneup, etc. Should have gotten it in writing I guess, but this struck me as unprofessional.
I haven’t noticed my AC cooling any better than it was prior to the service, and the noise he pointed out is still there, so now I’m questioning whether I got taken for a ride.

Just had Mountain Breeze install new furnace, A/​C, hotwater heater, and electrical panel. Jim and his crew were fantastic! Jim was fast at getting over to my place to give me a quote. I had 3 altogether, he was the only one to give me an out the door price right then and there. Quality equipment, and his crew was professional and friendly, the electrical guys were awesome as well. Our house is extemely comfortable right now and would recommend these guys to anyone in the Denver Metro area

Had these folks come out for a winter maintenance on my furnace. Was supposed to be $ 69, ended up being 300+. Now my furnace, that used to work great, no longer blows hot air. These guys are horrible.
Update-​they came out again today, found the problem, since they had been out previously they cut me a break on the price, I want to compliment Mike who was very professional and gave me a good explanation as to what was going on. I am somewhat happier.
