Bistro C

Best French Toast in the state of California. This adorable little Bistro had a beautiful patio with fire pit and waterfall. One would think you were in Paris. And for Del Mar the prices were very affordable.

Burgers were bland. Fries were soggy. House Salad was lettuce, tomato, huge chunks of red onion and avocado. We could not eat the onion because it was ¹⁄₃ inch thick. Chips, salsa and guacamole came from the grocery store. Not worth the 50 bucks.

Great lady behind the counter! Ordered a cob salad to go and it was pretty darn good. Nice fresh greens and not iceberg, real bacon, chicken, tomato, shredded mozzarella, cucumber, and onion. I ended up having onion flavor all night but I’m not much of an onion fan. They separate all the items for you to decide to mix what you want up. All and all pretty good!

Very nice outdoor patio with a fire pit. There was a very nice guitar player and super friendly service. The restaurant has all the essentials including beer and wine. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner. They also have a good variety of snacks, fruit and cereals.

The burger runs about 8 bucks. Very dry meat and bun and not very tasty. The fries were a bit mushy. I’m not sure I finished the burger even.

Super nice workers and a dude playing guitar!
The Outdoor Patio and Fire Pit are the highlight. The patio is super cool. Bring some marshmallows and a hanger for some marshmallow roasting with the little ones. They will have a blast doing this.
I would come here in a pinch if staying at the hotel.
