Whatever happened to good customer service? I was in Dallas for 2 days on business. Walked over to the Galleria mall and decided to see if Journeys had any flip flops I’d like to try. I walk into Journeys and there are about 3 workers there, all behind the counter watching TV. Okay fine. No greeting. I try on some flip flops they have there but, since I didn’t get that warm and fuzzy feeling I just decided to walk out. I go back the next day, because I really wanted those flip flops(In need for an upcoming vacation) and this time 2 workers in the store. Still no greeting, no acknowledgement of anyone walking into the store. They were just steady watching the music videos which I’m sure show over and over again. I decide to buy the flip flops, go to the register to the woman behind the cash register… She points to the other cash register and calls the other dude to ring me out. Now, if you’re not working the register why the hell are you back there? And how about mumbling at LEAST one word to tell me I’m at the wrong register instead of pointing. In that entire experience, from me walking into the store to walking out, I did not exchange one word with the staff. Customer service people! It can go a long way.
