They were rude and I was supposed to get a buy two get one free deal and I noticed the price was too high and I told them but they completely blew it off and told me it was the correct price. I then checked my receipt and it was the wrong price and I didn’t get the deal, so I went back to ask them to fix it and when they did he asked me if I wanted cash back because he said he couldn’t put it back on the card. So I said cash was okay and then he proceeded to ask me for my card… and swiped it and then gave me everything without giving me any cash. Then he just walked away after giving me my card and receipt without saying anything, and I had to ask him if I was given the money or not and he said it would go on the card. Then I left after their bad service and later on in the day I came back to return everything because I was very dissatisfied. They still had problems giving me my money and this time gave me the rest of the money in cash which I did not understand why some would be on the card and the rest in cash. This was on 3÷11÷16, and it is now 3÷22÷16 and I still have not been credited the money back into my account, and I am very irritated with the service and the fact that I do not even know if I am really going to be getting the money back on my card or if the guy skimped me out and forgot to give me my cash.

For a hit Friday after noon we were surprised to see the Store wasn’t to packed. We found the exact Disney costume we were looking for. Staff was polite and store was very clean with a cool projection screen for kids to enjoy Disney videos on.

They have Summer Play Days(times vary) in all Disney Stores where they hand out @ times– trivia cards and pins for kids participating in this daily(Summer) event and on weekends the rest of the year. Well, I ended up @ this location with my younger daughter on a Thursday afternoon because my older daughter’s @ Santa Monica for surf camp. When the event finished, the cast member counted how many kids were present and she left out my daughter; we were the 2nd to show up and there were only a total of 5 kids! When I asked her for a pin, which we’ve been collecting, she hesitated to give us one. Mind you, other Disney Store would even ask you how many would you like and this worker was being stingy with one! She was acting as if she paid for those darn pins out of her own pocket. If they were selling it, I would have gladly bought a few and donated them to her and maybe shoved a few down her throat! *insert eye roll here*

While at the store, all costumes were 40% off. my son wanted a costume but they didnt have his size. They had another costume in his size but the sales person said that we could order it online and they gave me a free shipping coupon to cover the shipping because i couldnt order it in the store because their internet did not work. I bought the accessories to go with the costumes. When I got home, i went online and online did not honor the discount. I called the culver city store and they gave me the customer service number and assured me that their price would be honored. I called customer service and they refused to honor the price. Online customer service told me that they are completely separate from retail and would not honor what the store told me i called the store back and their internet was back up and they were able to place the order for me online at the store price.

Ugh… why do they have to have a movie BLASTING right next to the registers so you have to shout to be understood. You’d think they’d get the hint and turn the sound down after several attempts at not understanding their customers but no. The store is large with an area for kids to sit color and watch said movie but I don’t like how they don’t have it laid out by character. Instead, you might find an Olaf in the front, middle or back of the store or just willy nilly in a random bin. I did absolutely appreciate that I was there to return some gifts and they took back packaging that wasn’t in perfect condition and still gave me credit for it. It was quite a process though as the sales person had to call for current pricing. She was eventually able to give me a gift card in exchange and it was easy to keep my son entertained while waiting. It was very crowded for a Thursday evening I thought and it was frustrating that there wasn’t much room for strollers and other shoppers were definitely getting miffed at me about not being able to get by. There’s a decent selection here though and if you can’t make it to Disneyland this might be a fun place to take them.

Absolutely worst customer service over the phone. Spoke with Gil to ask about a 20% off store coupon handout. Not only was he short in his responses, he was uninformed and completely unhelpful. All he kept repeating was that they only had a few left, and he was leaving at 5pm. I’m so glad I decided to call the Disney Store in Torrance. The manager answered the phone, and seriously — it was just like being at or calling Disneyland. She was so sweet, upbeat and so very helpful. She offered so much unsolicited information, as well. I should be writing this review on their Unilocal page. Gil at the Disney Store at Fox Hills failed to tell me that I didn’t even have to come into the store, that there were other ways to obtain the coupon, and speak with amy amount of attention or respect, period. If you have any questions or need assistance — call the Disney Store in Torrance! The super sweet manager made me feel like such a valued customer and wanted me to save an extra 25% off.

I just want to give a shoutout to Steven from this store. I just can’t pass a Disney store without drawing myself inside. This time I was there in search of a particular product. When i could not find it i asked him and he took the extra effort to check in the back to see if there could possibly be one hiding back there. Of course there wasn’t since it probably was a big ticket item at the time and i know he tried his best. Even tho he came out with disappointing news, he came back with a promo code for me to use for the online shop to find that particular item to save shipping, which helped BIGTIME since i just didn’t have the budget for the item plus extra fees. It’s those small efforts that make it a big awesome one for me. Not many of the other stores have done that in the past so thanks for taking the extra time.

(*Sung with my best Frozen voice) Let it go, let it go Can’t hold it back anymore Let it go, let it go Turn away and slam the door I don’t care What they’re going to say Let the storm rage on, shopping always bothered me anyway… I visited The Disney Store and was *clueless* about what to get for a gift for my colleague’s 5 year old daughter. I was fighting going into the store because I get frustrated shopping for little Princess stuff! Magically appearing, Ms. La Donna, Cast Member extraordinaire, comes to my rescue. She patiently heard my situation and pulled several great & amazing items for me to choose from. She had excellent customer service and made the shopping experience FUN! Thank you!!! An added bonus was that there is some kind of interactive video in the store, where your kids can select the scene from their favorite movie(FROZEN!!) and the mini-theater will play videos from the movie. Kids were selecting the video for Frozen and it sure did draw a crowd(10+ kids/adults). FUN and Smiles EVERYWHERE! Again, Kudos to La Donna, as you made the potentially painful shopping experience a wonderful one!!! Product Grade: A– Service Grade: A+ Thanks, La Donna, you need a HUGERAISE!!! Anytime I see a Disney Store, I have this compulsive urge to go in. So coming upon this particular store was no different. Inside I was in ooh and aww with all the displays of Disney princess dolls and Halloween costumes of Ironman, The Hulk, the list goes on. I’m sure you’ve all ventured into Disney shops so I’m gonna just get to the point. This store stank of plumbing issues. Like a damped, something molding smell. I’m sure it’s temporary… I hope. If not then brace yo’self

sofia’s favorite store in the mall. actually, her favorite store period. prices are inflated due to the direct store status, but, that’s expected. we try and avoid buying anything here but, we’re suckers when it comes to our daughter. so many things to waste your money on! lol… jk. nothing crazy. just a doll, or a backpack or a princess dress… simple stuff. :) we’ll keep coming back because it’s still cheaper and closer than actually taking her to Disneyland every couple weeks.
