As the future groom, I’m sure I was like most in my position by questioning the need for a wedding planner. It didn’t take long before I realized the value of someone such as LanAnh. As my wife and I both work, the hours needed to plan, prep and execute wedding related tasks were way more than we anticipated; from choosing table cloths and keeping vendors on schedule, to dealing with the difficult owner of our wedding venue. In the end we both walked away from what we felt was the perfect wedding, knowing we could not have pulled it off alone.

When starting to plan our wedding, I asked some of our married friends for their advice… I asked them what they would’ve done differently, what were their most memorable moments, what was really worth the money, etc. The best advice they gave us was to hire a wedding coordinator.
Of course, like any other couple, the most important thing to us was not to be stressed out on the day of. Ladies, if you want to convince your hubbies that it’s worth it to hire a wedding coordinator, just ask the question «Don’t you want to be a guest at your own wedding?» Now looking back, taking that advice was probably the best decision we made. I thought I was pretty organized and good at planning things, but these wedding coordinators take it to the next level.
We had the pleasure of working with Farrah, who is the most organized, professional, and detail-​oriented sweetheart ever. She is all of my OCD dreams come true! The Day of Coordination package includes 3 months of vendor correspondence and day of coordination, but I felt like from the moment we hired them (maybe 9 months out?), Farrah was so helpful with any questions I had. She also had great vendor recommendations and went above and beyond to save us money where she could.
Throughout the whole process, she was attentive, reliable, and had such a great attitude. We didn’t realize how many details actually went into the wedding until we were having our final meetings with her and she broke down the itinerary to the minute! Things I hadn’t even thought of, she was already one step ahead and taking care of it. Even our other vendors mentioned to us how much they enjoyed working with her, and how they appreciated her attention to detail.
On our wedding day, Farrah and helper Lan Anh, were like stealth-​mode swat team wedding ninjas! They took care of everything from A-​Z including picking up breakfast for the bridal party when we were getting ready! They always had one team member at each of our venue locations, and Farrah was with us throughout the day. Our Church coordinator was kind of a hot mess, but she never once let that lady’s energy bring anyone down. She was always positive, calm, and ready to take on any and every moment of the day. We had a jam packed schedule, but she really helped us relax and we knew we could trust her.
Thank you so much Farrah and the Mele Amore team for seamlessly executing the most important day of our lives. We got to enjoy every moment of it without one ounce of stress!

I’ll be honest, I did not fully understand or appreciate the importance of having a wedding planner until we hired Mele Amore and had Farrah as our coordinator. There were TONS of details we didn’t have to worry about because Farrah and Mele Amore handled it for us. They really go above and beyond to ensure things go smoothly and according to plan.
On the actual day of the wedding, there is so much going on that its hard to process and enjoy it all. Having Farrah & Mele Amore around allowed us to relax and enjoy the special occasion with our family and friends. They even helped resolve some minor hiccups that occurred on our wedding day and as a result, our wedding went as smooth as butter. Hiring Mele Amore is truthfully one of the best decisions we made.
Need some help finding vendors? They got you. They connected us with a great production company called Inviscus who we used for our DJ and stage/​lighting services. We even booked our photo booth through Mele Amore.

My husband and I wanted to write our review for Mele Amore while the memory is still fresh. The Team at Mele Amore helped us plan our dream wedding last month. The level of service and care were above and beyond and we are so grateful for their help.
LanAnh helped us select the best vendors and was instrumental in our beginning stages of our planning process. She helped us find our photographer, event space, make up artists, florists, uplighting, Dj/​MC, officiant, you name it… she had suggestions and quality suggestions at that. Planning a wedding is a really difficult task and really overwhelming for a newly engaged couple with only 6 months before the wedding date. LanAnh’s assistance was crucial and made everything so much smoother than we had anticipated for our 200+ guest wedding that was within our budget!
Later in the process we were assisted by Michelle & Nam, who coordinated with our vendors and helped us with everything for the wedding day. They have such a calming influence. Their level of detail and service was remarkable and flawless. We had copies of our itinerary & to-​do lists that were broken down and easy to manage. They literally were so organized and kept track of everything for us. We both work FULL-​TIME so having to not jump onto the computer in the evenings to jot notes, update our to-​do list, and do EVERYTHING ourselves was a big relief. I started my own spreadsheets and to-​do lists in the beginning stages of planning and ended up not using them because Mele Amore had everything covered.
Michelle & Nam were our day of team and the timing was perfect. Based on Michelle’s itinerary, we had more than enough time to get ready, take photos, be on site, and we didn’t miss/​skip/​overrun on anything. Nam was a complete sweetheart as well. He made sure we ate and had nourishment throughout the day! :) There was just so many little things that Michelle & Nam did to contribute to our magical day. It makes me smile from ear to ear just thinkin’ about it lol.
To sum it up, my husband and I loved working with the entire team and we recommend them to any of our friends. We had the perfect wedding, and felt like we were taken care of by professionals until the very last minute of our wedding night. This team does not just meet your expectations, they anticipate your needs before you know you even need it. This is the service that is rare, exceptional, and we couldn’t be happier. Michelle and her team at Mele Amore helped plan our wedding this past September. They did such an amazing job and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs help with the planning (and believe me it helps so so much and is totally worth it so as a couple you can enjoy the planning process with minimal stress). They go above and beyond what we expected and made our special day absolutely magical! Michelle even handled mishaps that inevitably happen during a wedding day with zen-​like poise that it kept me and my wife calm and focused on having fun knowing that she will take care of it! Best.decision.ever. One, you will not regret hiring a wedding planner. Two, you will never regret hiring Mele Amore Events. I worked with Michelle and words can’t describe how amazing she is and how much she did for us both day of and during the entire planning process. The day of there were also these amazing ninja like people making our wedding day go by so smoothly and seamlessly. They have these magic bags with the things you need most at just the right time. I couldn’t have asked for a better day. The venue was decorated so beautifully. It is like a dream. Everything happened on schedule, but I never felt rushed or hurried.
My fiancé and i live in Florida and got married at La Casa del Camino in Laguna Beach, CA. I knew I needed a planner, but I had no idea how much planning help I actually did need. I ended up with a Level 3 service, which was amazing. I started at their level 2, but we quickly realized I needed much more help with the design process.
Michelle was available all the time. Now I think I’m going to miss talking or texting her! She guided me through the process. Helped me with vendors, but totally understood when I didn’t like a suggestion so we kept looking. We stayed on budget and on time. I had some visions for how I wanted the décor and she used that plus her own to create amazing tablescapes at the venue. The vendors were organized well the day of. She even made sure I was fed :). There was plenty of flexibility built into the timeline so when extra friends/​family decided to give speeches it was seamless. It truly was fantastic. Everyone keeps talking about our wedding, how beautiful, how much fun, and how well it was run by Michelle and her team.
Thank you all so much for the most amazing day of my life. I just want to do it all over again.

Just had our wedding this past weekend and it was the greatest decision we ever made to hire LanAnh and the rest of the Mele Amore team! People say you can plan your wedding yourself but I completely disagree. LanAnh made EVERYTHING stress free for us from day 1 — from picking the venue to making sure our vendors/​contracts were all booked. We had heard about Mele Amore since they helped plan our friend’s wedding and I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning an upcoming wedding!
I am the type of person to stress about every little detail but with LanAnh, I was able to relax and have her guide us every step of the planning process. She made sure we were on track with the timeline and payment deadlines, provided AWESOME vendor recommendations, and lots of helpful suggestions throughout the year. She put in 100% effort in helping us get what we wanted and was on top of everything.
During the day of our wedding, I felt calm and relaxed knowing that LanAnh had my back if anything were to go wrong and she did such a great job moving us along our scheduled timeline, coordinating with the vendors, and even making sure we had food/​water since we were running around all day in the sun! I lost my lip gloss and she had a brand new lip gloss in her handy dandy fanny pack (along with a bunch of other back up items like sewing kits etc). Her team set up everything SO beautifully at the venue and I can’t imagine not having them with me that day! At the end of the night, they had put ALL our ceremony items (guestbook, cardbox, frames/​décor) back into our room neatly and even kept my bouquet and the top tier of our wedding cake for us. We were STARVING since we didn’t have time to eat at our wedding and LanAnh’s team packed us food knowing we were running on empty stomachs.
I am super grateful to have had such a wonderful team by our side on our wedding day and can’t emphasize enough how great Mele Amore is!!! Definitely need to hire them if you’re thinking of getting a wedding planner!

«Fairytale» doesn’t begin to describe our wedding this past weekend on 9÷26÷2015. Husband and I began our wedding journey about 18 months prior to our wedding date. I thought to myself, I’m crafty, somewhat organized– we have so much time, we don’t need a wedding coordinator. Well fast forward to a year later, 5 months before the wedding, and I’m ready to pull my hair out. Enter Farrah Dang from Mele Amore Events.
You know that feeling when you go on vacation and you just know you forgot to pack something vital. Well, I had that anxious feeling in my stomach every day for months thinking I’m missing something key to the wedding. My wedding photographer suggested I get a wedding coordinator and recommended Mele Amore Events.
Farrah is so organized and on top of everything. Husband and I got married at Padua Hills Theatre. It is such a beautiful venue and I was surprised to find out that many people and vendors have never heard of this little gem. Well, Farrah was among those that had never heard of the venue. I found out later that she made arrangements with the venue to visit the site and scope things out on her own just to familiarize herself with the venue. To me, that is going the extra mile.
The have different packages for how much assistance you need for your wedding. Seeing as how I had most of the vendors and miscellaneous stuff taken care of, Michelle recommended the level 1 package. Even with the smallest package, they did more than anyone could have asked for. Farrah was taking care of things I didn’t even know were things. Like vendor meals, meals for the wedding party while getting ready in the morning, she even had my dad’s speech printed out for him before the grand entrance. I asked my dad how he even knew who my coordinator was and he said he didn’t know, «she just handed my a piece of paper and it was my speech». The things Farrah and her team did to make sure the night went as perfectly as possible were more than I even asked for.
During the wedding planning process, I changed my mind so many times about everything. Farrah was so sweet and accommodating. Even after the wedding is over and all payments have been made, I’m still getting emails from her to assist in the name changing process.
Anyway, long story short– hiring a Mele Amore Events was the SECOND BEST DECISION EVER! first being me saying yes to my husband’s proposal.

Working with Michelle to plan our wedding was one of the best things about it! Her Team & suggested vendors made the memories of that day a giant WIN!
We planned our wedding from Northern California, with it taking place in Southern California. Michelle’s communication, efficiency & vision made the process that much smoother.
The day went by smoothly and we received so much positive feedback from our family & friends. Happy to know they enjoyed the time, as most flew in from afar.
Fast forward to this year, Michelle is working with my younger sister on her wedding and I couldn’t be more excited for it!
Fun fact, she also managed one of my close friend’s fabulous wedding and my bridesmaid dress zipper broke 1 hour before the ceremony. Michelle stayed calm as she sewed (she had invisible thread of course) me into the dress at the Church before the ceremony. No one could tell it had even broken. She’s *magic* I tell you!

My wife and I were dating for 18 years and always planned to have a one of a kind wedding where we could showcase our love and family. We knew we had to find the best vendors and people who had unbelievable passion for excellence in their craft. We had to start by finding a Wedding Planner who could orchestrate our vision and create our dream event. Did I mention one of us lived in Southern California and the other in Northern California? Michelle made sacrifices with her own schedule and always accommodated us even though she was busy planning other wedding experiences. She was available when we needed to contact her, checked in with us regularly, and kept us on top of any deadlines.
Through Michelle, we were able to work with the most premier vendors and companies in the wedding industry. It truly showed on the day of the wedding. Everything was perfect, magical, and unforgettable. Michelle and her wonderful crew made it one of the most stress free days of our lives. We were pampered and treated like royalty. From the Ceremony to the Reception, you could see how precise, well executed and organized everything was. The décor was impeccable and the service of all the staff was fantastic. The experience we had with Michelle and Mele Amore Events makes my wife and I want to get married over and over because it was so memorable and definitely something we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

My sister and my brother in law got married December 2014 and I remember my sister telling me that she had gotten a wedding coordinator for everything, who would basically help her from start to finish and she did. I remember they had meetings together to catch up, to update each other, etc etc, phone calls, emails, texts, everything, LanAnh was basically there every step of the way.
I finally got to meet LanAnh during the wedding rehearsal. She was so calm, so patient with everyone, and if anyone has met my parents, OMG girl I give you props for answering their questions, the same questions LOL, with patients and kindness like you did. Never once did I see her get frustrated! She’s superwoman!
Anyways, on the day of the wedding, I never felt so calm and relaxed in my life. Even my sister was like, are we still on schedule? We had so much down time to just enjoy the moment and it was just because LanAnh and her team made everything on that day run super smooth! I’ve been in my share of weddings and we’ve heard everything that’s going on from the guys are running late, to the flowers aren’t here yet, to the limo company made a mistake and sent the wrong one, etc etc etc, the wedding planner had to come and update the bride, we had no idea if there was any drama. Was there LanAnh??? lol No one seemed rushed and if they did, we had no clue! Everything went down perfectly. We even had 2 ceremonies and still that transition went smoothly. Of course there was drama from family members, something or someone might of ran late, but did the bridal party know? NOPE =D just sipping mimosas and taking pictures with the bride! Best experience ever.
Oooops forgot to add this part! The 2^nd ceremony had many traditional pieces, I added a picture, and LanAnh and her team took just care and paid close attention to detail while setting up everything, putting everything away, and also helping to transfer most things to and from the car, to and from our house, everything the flawless! My dad arrived at the car and most things from the ceremony were already in the car! And most of the presents were already in my sister’s hotel room!!! Amazing team!!!

This is a long overdue review but I had to write to tell the Unilocal reviewers the wonderful work that our coordinator Farrah did for us.
I originally did not anticipate on hiring a wedding coordinator and certainly did not budget for one. I finally bit the bullet and hired Farrah for the day of coordination. Looking back, I wish I would’ve hired her for her help in the planning process too because she was able to cut a lot of costs. For example, she was able to talk to the venue to get certain things included when I thought that I had to rent them from another vendor and I also received a discount on using another vendor since Mele Amore had worked with them before. Who knows what other vendors I could’ve gotten discounts on if I went through Mele Amore.
Before the wedding, we met numerous times to go over the timeline. As expected, I was overwhelmed with the hundreds of tasks I still had outstanding so on many occasions I couldn’t make decisions and had to tell Farrah that I would get back to her. Thankfully she was always following up with me or else I would’ve let it slip.
The day before the wedding, Farrah was at the venue to meet with vendors and make sure the venue set up was how my husband and I described. Thank god she was there Bc it gave me a chance to relax and have a nice quiet dinner with my close family and friends. She even did a quick walk through with my wedding party to make sure they knew where to go and stand.
On the day of the wedding, Farrah and the team she brought were amazing. She had to deal with the typical wedding craziness AND my mother who is the epitome of a strict and old school traditional Vietnamese mother AND my husband’s mother. The Mele Amore team was there from the time I got my hair and makeup done at 11am until about 1am while they were packing up our things and tidying up our hotel room.
After the wedding, so many of my relatives asked me about Farrah, the «small and cute girl» that was running around making sure everything ran smoothly. Many of them (who are super old school) never heard of a wedding coordinator and thought it was a remarkable idea to hire a coordinator rather than depend on a family member to help with the wedding.
Not much more I can say, but I’m so happy to have hired Mele Amore!

I contacted LanAnh Ho almost immediately after we got engaged because I had gone to 2 other weddings that she planned and absolutely loved her style. And the brides spoke so highly of her. After our first meeting, we wanted to lock her in for our date (12−13−14) before another couple did! It was definitely the best decision ever. You always hear about how planning is so stressful, but I honestly never felt any bit of stress because LanAnh took care of so much for us.
Since I don’t one creative bone in my body and since I work 6 days a week, I relied on LanAnh to help style the wedding. I am not a DIY bride at all. So she presented a few style boards and she hit it right on the nose in terms of what we would have liked. We loved the style board and vision she created for us and she recommended the best vendors in the business. She organized all the meetings with the vendors, reviewed all the contracts before we signed, kept us on track with the timeline and our budget. Since I’m clueless with style and stuff, I literally would text/​email her with the most annoying questions and she would get back to be quickly and never made me feel like I ever bothered her. She answered all the questions I had and was always patient with us.
On the day of the wedding, LanAnh and her team took such good care of us and handled all of the decorating and set up and even still made sure me and my bridal party was fed and hydrated. She kept us on schedule and we were able to fit in everything we needed to do in the time we had and not feel rushed at all. Of course, unfortunately, there was some guests of my mother who were annoying but she dealt with everything so professionally and politely and kept myself calm as well. And there were some crazy dancers on the dance floor and there was rip in my dress but LanAnh patched it up with her handiness! All in all she fix anything that went wrong and held my hand through it and made everything all better!
At the end, we are so sad that it’s over because we don’t get to see her regularly But the experience that LanAnh had with wedding planning made everything come out so wonderfully and now we can look back and remember the happiest day of our life being so perfect! We love LanAnh and team Mele Amore!!! We are recommending them to everyone we know who are getting married for sure!

I honestly don’t know where to begin…
I was a girl who dreamed about her wedding. One year it was on a beach, next year it was in a garden, I was all over the place. But once I started to plan it, it was extremely stressful! It’s not how you envision the planning process like in Father of the Bride, it’s was almost torture for me. Yea, if you have an endless budget, then of course planning would be fun. But I was a bride who wanted a nice wedding but didn’t want to go over board and waste tons of money at the same time. So I got through all the big stuff like the venue, catering, photog and video, but I knew there was an endless amount of other vendors that I needed that I had no clue where to start. Most importantly «How much money do you spend on each vendor?”(i.e– florist, dj, lighting) and «what’s too much/​reasonable?» Cue: panic attack.
I had people tell me to go on blogs and chat rooms to find deals. Are you kidding me? I don’t have time for that!
Thanks to Unilocal,I found Mele Amore. LanAnh was my planner and it was literally smooth sailing from there on. My venue was The Loft on Pine, which is two stories, so just think of the planning that has to go into a venue like that. I gave her my overall budget and she plugged all the numbers in the right places. From there, she sets up all the vendor appts and all my husband and I would do was so up and answer yes or no. Lananh would communicate to each vendor up until the wedding day, so all we had to do was show up. The hardest part during this entire process was literally writing out checks to vendors. Other than that, the planning was actually really FUN, which is how it should be. The team and staff they had on board our wedding day was amazing. The amount of work LanAnh put into our wedding and the day of our wedding was beyond my wildest expectation. After you see the amount of work the mele amore team puts into your wedding day, you’ll say to yourself, «It was worth EVERY penny!» Our wedding day became theeee best day of our life.
My husband and I didn’t even fight during the wedding process and I think it was all because we hired a planner. :)

Wedding planning, stressful? I think not. Especially when you’re working with Mele Amore.
Let’s see. Where to begin…
LanAnh and the folks at Mele Amore were absolutely great. I cannot praise them enough for the work that they did this past year. From the beginning I could tell that LanAnh wanted to get to know us as best she could so that she could plan the wedding of our dreams whether or not we were able to effectively convey what it was that we wanted.
After the initial meetings and as the months rolled by, LanAnh helped us to stay on top of everything. From helping to deal with difficult venue staff (who, by the way, are no longer with the venue) to giving us vendor recommendations. Though our experience is limited, I can confidently say that her experience has provided her with a vast network of vendors who can all deliver. Everyone that we worked with was extremely professional. You could tell that they all loved what they did and that was even more evident in their work.
Back to LanAnh…
I just can’t emphasize how easy and stress-​free everything was working with LanAnh and her team. Some of the bridesmaids were even uneasy about being able to relax and not having any stress on the day-​of. Our wedding party and guests even commented on how smoothing everything went.
We cannot thank them enough for the job that they did and friendships that formed as a result. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone.

When my husband proposed to me, we were working full time and finishing our 3^rd year of business school. We had very little free time and having a planner was a priority for us. When I started looking for a planner, I wanted to find someone that I connected with and one that I felt that i could trust to create a wedding that was a reflection of the both of us.
When I first talked to LanAnh, I was «interviewing» a handful of other planners. None of the planners really meshed with my personality and I was hesitant to move forward with any of them. LanAnh was the last planner that I interviewed and after our phone call, I knew that I had to work with her!
Once we started our planning sessions, LanAnh was there for me every step of the way. She guided me and provided a lot of great advice! Between her connections with various vendors to providing me with best practices, I felt comfortable going with a lot of her recommendations. Also, it was a great feeling that I never felt that I hired her to do a job or a set of tasks… instead, I felt that we established a partnership and she always went above and beyond to help us create our perfect wedding.
During the 10+ months of planning, I never felt stressed about planning and I was surprised how easy this all was. (Everyone advised me that wedding planning was really difficult!!). LanAnh did an amazing job with the designs (somehow bringing all pinterest pin’s into our wedding) and always kept my budget in mind. At the end, she didn’t go over my budget and I still had the wedding that I wanted! (She’s a genius when it comes to re-​working the budget and staying on track!!).
I should note that I had expensive taste when it came to the wedding and a lot of my wants were outside of my price range. However, LanAnh never told me that it couldn’t be done and she got creative and figured out ways for me to get what I wanted. For example, I really wanted all ghost chairs and instead of saying «No, its not in your budget», she made other suggestions such as mixing clear chiavari chairs with the ghost chairs! All I have to say is… genius. I got my ghost chairs and it looked put together.
On the day of the wedding, we were on time and I never felt rushed (Yay LanAnh and Team! Special thanks to Kimi and Farrah — amazing girls who were also there for me!). She created a timeline for everyone in the wedding (vendors and wedding party) and she stuck to it! Even my bridal party mentioned over and over again that they’ve never been part of a wedding that ran so smoothly! To help emphasize how great it was, Its been almost a month since our beautiful wedding and our family and friends are still talking about it.
I should also point out that, while I knew that LanAnh was really busy with other clients, I never felt left out or neglected. She was very responsive and would give me a headsup if she was going to be MIA for any reason. Even if she was out of the office, Michelle was there to respond to any of my emergency emails. :)
In all, LanAnh was an amazing planner and even if I could go back in time, I wouldn’t change a thing. Farrah was on point and kept us on track during the whole planning process. She definitely went out of her way for us as we only hired her for the day-​of-​coordination package. She was meticulous, well organized, and on-​point. We honestly don’t know how we would have gotten through our wedding without Farrah and her team. Because we had 280 guests, everything needed to be well-​coordinated and Farrah delivered. I definitely would not hesitate to recommend Farrah and Mele Amore to coordinate your wedding. I’ve seen some wedding coordinators work due to being in several weddings and there is no comparison, you really get your monies worth with Farrah (as well as making a friend in the process).

One of the first things my husband and I said to each other the day after our wedding was, «how great was Michelle & Mele Amore?!» So great! I wonder if in addition to wedding coordinating, Mele Amore can also do life coordinating for us! Just hang out with us every day and make sure everything is awesome just like our wedding day.
Our caterer (Top Catering) had recommended Michelle and we’re so happy we listened to him. We hired Mele Amore for day of coordinating but I feel like we got so much more than «day of» service. Michelle was so attentive, responsive, supportive, and creative. Michelle was great with communicating with us during the planning process and reached out to all of our vendors the weeks leading up to the big day to make sure everyone was on the same page. We had 170 guests, a team of vendors which included lighting, rentals, catering, security, shaved ice, dj, photo booth, etc. and Michelle knew where everyone was supposed to be at any given time. How is this woman not President of the United States? We also had Farrah assisting Michelle and she was super sweet, focused and stern when she needed to be (we put her on «bad cop» duty when it came to our Vietnamese and Filipino moms and aunties). Both of them had a great sense of humor and the day of the wedding, they showed up ready for business (company branded fanny pack with anything and everything a frantic bride might need — they even had snacks when my flower girls started getting cranky).
I can’t express how happy we were with Mele Amore throughout the planning process and on the actual wedding day. No matter how invincible or confident you might feel as a bride planning your wedding — that feeling will fade, you will feel crazy and you will need someone like Michelle and team Mele Amore in your corner.
My husband and I like to think of ourselves as a low maintenance couple with a high maintenance venue (we got married at the Newland Barn which is all DIY). Although I reached out and booked all of our vendors for our big party, team Mele Amore was instrumental in piecing all of the different elements together to turn our big party into the biggest day of our lives. So amazing.

We hired Mele Amore to help coordinate our wedding a year ago (yes, I FINALLY remembered to write a review after all this time). It was a fabulous experience. I had done a lot of the legwork prior to hiring on Mele Amore, but it was so great to have a professional look over my planning process and give me recommendations and suggestions on tweaking to make things better. Michelle is based in Costa Mesa which was a little off-​putting since I lived about an hour away from her (without traffic). I was very pleased and surprised when Michelle always offered to meet me close to where I live rather than asking me to meet at her office. The day of the wedding, I was able to just relax knowing full well that Michelle and Lan-​ahn had everything under control.
Was the day perfect? No, but that was more because I’m a perfectionist and things didn’t always play out how I envisioned it in my head. It was not to the fault of Michelle or her team, just me being nit-​picky. At the end of the day/​night, I married the man that I love and that’s what matters.
Was I stress free? YES! There were a few hiccups, but Michelle and Lan-​ahn handled them without getting me involved. They even protected my husband and me at the end of the night when we were dead tired from friends and family that wanted to party more. Michelle helped us escape to our hotel suite while Lan-​ahn was the look-​out to ensure no one knew where we were staying that night! :)
Would I recommend Mele Amore to my friends/​family? IN A HEART BEAT! They have been one of my top recommendations to all of our friends who were/​are considering a professional wedding planner/​coordinator.

Six months ago we hired Mele Amore to plan and coordinate our wedding. Two weeks ago we got married. The day went by so fast, it was such a blur. All I could really recall was a fun, happy, love filled whirlwind roller coaster ride that I didn’t want to end.
So if everything seemingly went so perfectly, why the delay in the review? First, I am a man. We procrastinate with everything. Second (the real reason) is that I truly wanted to digest what was put into the last six months to produce such a great wedding day. I wanted to make sure that I wasn’t going to write a review coming off a wedding or honeymoon high, which we have not yet gone on just in case you are curious.
So where do I start? Simple answer, how did we find Michelle and the Mele Amore Team… simple, Unilocal reviews just like you are doing now. We searched, read, laughed, and eventually found Mele Amore.
Now for the fun part…‘The Review’
Everyone’s experiences are going to be different. I firmly believe that your mindset going into something will fully dictate how satisfied you are with the results. A disappointment is the same as a wildly successful outcome, both are learning experiences.
With that disclaimer out of the way, I figured that i would do my review a little differently from the norm. Instead of blabbing about how great Michelle and her team are, there are plenty of reviews on Unilocal that can attest to that, I am going to pick out some things from other Unilocaler’s reviews that helped us in choosing Mele Amore.
