I highly recommend Coastal Tile & Stone in Costa Mesa. I had been looking online for a certain tile for a work project and wasn’t finding exactly what I needed. Coastal had the exact tile I needed within 48 hours. The customer service was great and the cost was reasonable. Thank you!

I highly recommend Coastal tile and stone. So fun to wander the showroom looking for that perfect statement tile. They carry a great selection, most of which you would never find at a big name tile warehouse. Suzanne is great– she definitely has a great «eye» and can pick up your sense of style quickly. If you are looking for beautiful tile that you won’t see all over your neighborhood :) this is the place!

I used costal tile to purchase our materials for our master bath remodel. I would HIGHLY recommend them! To start they have a wonderful selection to choose from. I interacted with all of the employees who were all friendly and helpful. Misty ended up being the one that really helped me select my materials. She is awesome. She helped with understanding what things were worth spending a little more for and was great about recommending lower cost alternatives when it made sense! I really appreciated that. She had excellent follow up and even drew out the design for our workers and had it hand delivered to our home! I will definitely use them for any future projects!

Good selection but can be rude and arrogant (depending on the day they are having). And god forbid you have a question or are confused on an order, they have no problem talking back to their customers. I’ve watched it on more than several occasions. Misty comes off helpful but beware… She’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. There are so many stores of this kind that carry all the same stuff, there is no need to shop in a store where your patronage is not appreciated. I certainly am not shopping here for my clients any more.

I called the store before I visited. Spoke with Misty who cordially assisted me in locating marble tile to replace some chipped and broken tile in my home. She asked me to send a picture of the marble I was searching for via text (in order to save me the initial trip to the store) which I thought was convenient and thoughtful. Misty was able to locate similarly colored and patterned marble for me, and had them ready to showcase when I arrived at the store. I ordered the marble and Misty continued to keep me informed via text as to its delivery. My experience was extremely positive. Thank you Misty and Costal Tile & Stone for the excellent service.

I was referred to this place by a contractor so I went and made an appointment with Ryan. I looked around the showroom and was waiting for him to come. He clearly knew I was there and was waiting for him for a long time. He finally came and ask me what I needed. Afterwards he disappeared and helped another customer who just came. I ask him a question and told me that his busy getting samples for this customer. The receptionist had to stepped in for him because I was clearly not being help by anyone. But didn’t I not made the appointment with Ryan? I didn’t stick around. I will not come back here again. I will make sure to tell anyone that’s doing a remodel not to come at this place. Very poor service! I told that contractor too who told me that they send a lot of clients to them. They should check Unilocal before they start sending people there.

So I accidentally (not remembering the store I had called before) called and used this tile store again. We are tiling again and came up with the same question as last time but my experience this time was night and day! I spoke with Ryan and he was super helpful compared to the individual (I believe it was the other owner) that I spoke with last time. Super helpful and answered all my questions and sold me a great product to seal my grout with.

Love these guys~ They have always been really helpful with me. They helped me pick out the perfect Tumbled travertine floor & Limestone Bathroom counters and they just got a new Hawaiian line in & I did my fireplace in that. Hand painted Hawaiian flowers — Love it~! I have lived in Eastside CM for 10 years and they are my «Go To» Tile store. Thanks Ryan & Thad~!
