CardinaleWay Mazda – Corona

Found what looked like an amazing deal on TrueCar. The TrueCar certificate stated the car was available for a certain price at this dealership. Guess I should have known it was too good to be true. After setting up a test drive, I called the dealership to make sure it was the car I wanted. Classic bait-​and-​switch… the car advertised on TrueCar was a totally different version of the model (SV) than what the dealership actually had (S Plus). I was ready and willing to the buy the SV for the price as shown on TrueCar. Too bad this dealership uses false advertisement to lure customers. No thanks.

Just bought a new car from Sultan, Juan and Kyle. Honest, friendly straightforward service, great prices! Recommend that anyone looking for a new car drop by and ask for Sultan. This dealership has several brands under one roof, so we test drove 4 different vehicles before choosing the Mazda 6… check them out!

Although a couple of the sales reps are pretty friendly (Javier in particular… would love to buy from him in a different setting), these guys are jerks. I came in with a firm monthly payment I was willing to work with ($ 175-​$ 200 per month, with $ 200 stretching my comfort zone and cutting back on everything). After they gave me multiple quotes which ended up being approximately more than $ 50-​$ 70 over my spending limit, they continued to badger and borderline harass me on why «I must own this car». They even had the nerve to say «if you can afford $ 200, then you can afford $ 250». Seriously? You don’t know what bills I have to pay and what an extra $ 50 means to a 22 year-​old like myself.
And after telling them numerous times that they were beyond my budget and that I wasn’t willing to compromise and ready to finally walk away they ended up getting two sales reps to «try and work a deal» for me, which still exceeded my budget. After finally listening to me and getting a comfortable number from me, the owner (or manager, whoever…) proceeded to wave at me and rudely asked me to leave the dealership.
Long story short, if you’re ready to pay beyond what the expected asking price for the car is, then go right ahead and buy from them. I looked up various loan calculators and even took into account a higher interest rate and it always ended up being approximately a whole $ 30-​$ 50 less than what these jerks were asking for. I understand banks can only do so much and blah, blah, blah but just because I’m young, doesn’t mean I’m an idiot and that I don’t know how car buying works. I’m still smart enough to know when I feel like I’m getting bent over financially.
Still on the market and still carless, but if not having a car means being able to have my pride and not feel uncomfortable every time my car note comes around, then I’m happy to be without a set of wheels right now.

Dishonest practices at CardinaleWay Mazda. Stay far away from this dealer!!! What a waste of time. We came to an agreement on a monthly price for a lease based on a particular car’s VIN number. Cardinale Way runs my credit which turns out great with a score just under 800. Then they hand me a document to sign that specifies the VIN of the car I will be leasing, however it’s the wrong VIN number than the one we agreed on. After I bring it up to AJ’s attention she said «oh yea we couldn’t secure that car after all». It would have been professional of them to bring it to my attention prior to having me sign the document. Of course, the car that they listed on this document had less upgrades and a lower MSRP. After I declined to sign it, AJ came back to me with another document that had the correct car & VIN number we had originally agreed on. After signing this document she came back to say «the monthly lease payment has increased due to the increase in the MSRP». At this point, I knew the CardinaleWay Mazda dealership is just FRAUDULENT with their business practices and are exactly the type of SHADY dealerships you always hear about.
Thanks for running my credit CardinaleWay Mazda and wasting my time while trying to practice your CROOKED way of business on me. It makes me wonder if the get away with this on every car they sell.

We had a good experience here even though we ended up NOT buying a car. We came in with the intention of test driving the cx-​5 and only purchasing it if we had a ridiculous deal. Javier was super helpful and took us on multiple test drives of various cars. He didn’t try to push the sale on us at all. Unfortunately, they were not able to give us the deal we were looking for, so we had to walk.

My wife and I bought a car from them about 6 months ago (2015 Mazda CX-​9). The facility was pretty new and very clean. We ended up getting a pretty good deal (6−7k off msrp) but there were a few things that made me think we were still getting lip service and not the best deal. First off, the value on our trade in was a little low (even after they bumped it up by $ 400.00) as well, we were told that they «never know» when body styles change. All it took was a few minutes online to determine that the body style was slightly changing… Anything for a sale right? As well, when I asked about a service package with the car I was told that they don’t do that, but the send coupons to you… Seriously? Coupons? I just spent 30k and all I get is coupons? I would consider working with them again but with my guard up completely and never take what they say seriously…

We all know that buying a new vehicle can be a headache, having to deal with sales representatives, that make you wonder if you are being held a hostage. This was not my case at all.
I recently purchased a Mazda 3 Touring 4 door vehicle from Cardinale Way. My experience was very pleasant, hassle-​free, and I got a great price. The pricing is better than any TrueCar deals I had out there.
From the beginning, Tony Hernandez (Internet Fleet Manager) was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive to my needs. Tony provided me with many options to choose from. He was easy to talk to, quick to respond to my questions, and had my interest at heart.
He was extremely professional and made my purchase easy. He is the guy you want to speak with when buying a new car from this dealership.

When to Cardinale way to check out the Mazda 3 sport. Talked to Allen Henry who is really friendly and a true professional. Over all the dealership experience was awesome. The price for the car out the door was even lower than truecar pricing. Overall a great experience and truthfully if it wasn’t for Allen I would have walked away but he made it worth it for me to buy the car.

I recently purchased my first vehicle. I bought a new Mazda CX-​5 from Allan Henry at CardinaleWay Mazda. From the start, Allan was helpful and willing to work with me to get the exact vehicle I was looking for, at the price I was able to afford. I had gone through other dealerships, like Tustin, Huntington Beach, Puente Hills, and Cerritos, but none were willing to work with me.
Allan and his team were willing to work with me and help me get my first vehicle without any hassle. Allan right away guaranteed me my offer and exact vehicle that I was looking for. No bait and switch! After speaking with Allan, one of his team members worked in getting the interest rate that was within my budget.
The only thing that could have made this process much smoother was when we met with the finance person, Regina. She tried to push on selling us an extended warranty, but we declined as this was not something that I wanted. She kept giving me numbers to convince me to purchase the warranty in which was not to my satisfaction. I understand that it was her job to try to make a sale, however, she could have respected my decision when declining in the first place and get to our contract much faster, and go on my way with my new vehicle.

I purchased a Mazda 6 a few weeks ago from this dealer and let me tell you, no other dealer was able to beat their price. I requested quotes from 4 other Mazda dealers and CardinaleWay’s price was better than the competitors. I dealt with Allan Henry and he was beyond professional. The transaction was quick and stress-​free (the way car buying should be). I have other Mazda dealers near my house and I drove to Corona because of their price and customer service.

Recently visited this location with a few relatives and conducted my first car purchase with our salesman Astor Whitfield and sales agent Regina. One of the main differences i noticed about this location and our salesman in particular was the genuinely friendly and low pressure atmosphere. I recently purchased a new 2015 Mazda3 Sport Hatchback from Allan Henry at Cardinale Way Mazda and one word to sum up my experience would be… wow!
I am a first time car buyer, and finding a price for monthly payments that would work with my income was very tough at times. When I called up Allan Henry, I told him what car I wanted and what I needed in regards to price, and if he could make that happen then I would be there the very next day to pick the car up. Well, Mr. Henry did in fact make it work and did so at a considerably more affordable price than competing Mazda dealerships in the area!
My experience while in the dealership was just as great as it was over the phone with Mr. Henry and the rest of the Cardinale Way staff. Allan made the whole car purchasing process painless and simple. Exactly what I needed. Allan made sure to accommodate all of my needs as well as their financier Regina who was also wonderful.

My experience at CardinaleWay Mazda was the best! The follow up and communication from Allan our salesman was professional and courteous yet not pushy at all. Even when I didn’t think MY timing was right for the lease, he helped me see that it was all possible and within my budget! My lease transaction was seamless and easy. As far as the service department goes… wayyyyy better than the service department at the riverside Mazda center. I’ve had to take my car in twice then past month. First my battery cracked and then had to change the cables (because of the battery) both Shawn, the manager, and Matt were extremely helpful, honest, and QUICK. They actually call you to let you know what’s going on with your car, set you up with a rental and just communicate the whole time and actually take the time to really explain what’s going on and why my car is having these problems. I’m sure going to any other auto shop would be a little cheaper, but I only trust dealerships and this Mazda dealership has been awesome everytime I’ve gone in.

I was car shopping for a few weeks before finding an amazing deal.
So I ended up buying my car from Allan.
He was very nice and friendly and did not annoy us like most of the «vultures» do.
My car is amazing, just as promised. The deal was smooth and he even drove me to the dealership so that I wouldn’t have an extra car to take home.

Wow, where do I even start with this dealership?! This business sells more bait than a Bass Pro Shop. What type of bait do they sell here? Empty promises.
We worked with the two Javiers, one in sales and other was a manager. Javier was pleasant enough and assured us that CardinaleWay was a new dealership (started in early 2015), cutting edge in all aspects, and reiterated the dealership“s stance on providing excellent customer service in all stages of the car purchase experience. LOL.

When working with Javier on the trade in value of my girlfriend’s used car, they had assessed the car at $ 10,050 and then after some paperwork was signed, Javier talked to boss Javier and determined that the car should have only been assessed at $ 10,000. Salesman Javier assured us that he would make up for the $ 50 by giving us $ 50 of Mazda merchandise and sending it in the mail. FAIL. To this day, we have not heard a peep from Javier. Crickets chirping…

After my girlfriend purchased her car, noticed that the car loan for her old car had not been paid by CardinaleWay; the bill was due in only a few days and being used to paying her bills on time, she was concerned. She called the dealership and they told her they would overnight a check to the bank to pay. NOPE, never happened.

Again, she called management and left a message. She got an email assuring her that they would call her back. NOTHING… radio silence (Matt Damon’s confirming nonexistence of life here on this planet).

Finally, she got into contact with someone from finance department about paying loan on her old car. They told her they would pay any late fees that were incurred. How magnanimous!
Now that the old car had finally been paid, she sent several emails and calls to management asking where the $ 50 of Mazda merchandise had gone and when she could expect it. She never got an answer to her question and in most cases only received generic auto-​emails from management asking her to set up an appointment for a test drive. I’ll be generous and say she was only ignored about 3 times in this latest back and forth. Oprah is much more generous than I am when she gives things out!

In conclusion, what do you call someone who dishes out empty promises like rain-​checks on Black Friday — a politician. But really, we know what they are called and we know that there is also an old saying that «they never prosper.» I also know that you, the reader, will be much more wise than I was and not ignore the high proportion of negative reviews this dealership has already earned, especially given it’s fairly short existence. I have never been more disgusted by such a crooked and deceitful dealership and way of conducting business.
If CardinaleWay cares to make things right, they can respond to me via this Unilocal review. However, I suspect that they are still too preoccupied selling bait rather than following up with the customers who heard their lip service and gave them the benefit of the doubt anyway.

We worked with Allan Henry. What a great experience we had. We talked phone and via email regarding the type of car and price I was looking to pay. He sent me over in writing what my price and payments would be. We got preapproved before we got there. Now I did my homework and spoke to and spoke to other dealers, went to local dealers, but no one could beat the price Allan quoted or even come close to how hard he worked for us.
Allan was easy and fun to work with,. He showed us how everything worked. Sent videos after we bought our car to answer any other questions we may have had. They treat their customers with the kindness and respect they deserve.
