History
Established in 2008.
Many of our DJs have been spinning since at least 2003. Now Hear This DJs was started initially to provide an alternate professional choice to high schools that were still using «their friend who is a dj». After word of mouth spread successfully, Now hear This DJs expanded into Weddings Birthdays, and Corporate parties.

Business Owner
Dan began his interest in music by starting as a rodey for a DJ based in Martinez, CA. Eventually he began to learn the skill himself and bought his first mixer and record players. A few years later, technology allowed him to switch over to Serato Scratch Live on his TTM 57SL Mixer and use two CDJ-1000 players turn-tables. Before performing, Dan shadowed other DJ’s at their weddings to learn the process of how a DJ interacts with guests, the wedding party, and the different types of music a wedding vs. a corporate event. Learning how to DJ an event while coordinating with outside vendors is always a challenge, but with over 10 years of wedding experience, Dan has a wealth of knowledge that he is eager to use.
Now Hear This DJs is also the ‘first choice’ DJ company of Commodore Cruises on the San Francisco Bay.
We also provide DJ /Event Management services at certain strict venues like San Francisco City Hall, Bentley Reserve, Academy of Sciences, & The Asian Art Museum.
