Great location, nice patio deck upstairs. After waiting 30 minutes for a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, a cheese pizza arrives at the table. The waitress confirms she wrote the order down correctly, and blames the kitchen(correctly so). They take the pizza back and the manager comes by and apologizes. Says he will take care of us. The pizza comes back after they throw some pepperoni and mushrooms on it. Obviously not cooked correctly. Over cooked crust and cheese, and under cooked pepperoni and mushroom. We were starving at this point, and ate a few pieces. The check comes and we see that the manager took 10% off. Wow! They really know how to take care of a customer when they screw it up. This was our second time to visit this establishment, and the second time we were disappointed. We will not be back. There are too many other good options nearby to bother with this place again.

We enjoyed a nice salad and a wrap on their rooftop dining area for lunch. Fun atmosphere, we’ll absolutely eat here again. The pizzas looked fantastic.

Good foldable NY style pizza and Philly cheese steak sandwiches and large portions, but the service could be more welcoming and customer-centric, especially in a small Brevard County location that relies on local customers just as much as it does on snowbirds and tourists. I usually get take-out, but I’ve eaten there several times for lunch and dinner. I live alone and am new to the area, so I usually get a table for one and order a soup and salad, soup and slice, or salad and slice. But, on several occasions I’ve been asked if I would prefer to sit at the bar instead, due to a shortage of tables and the fact that a line of couples and families was forming. No. If I want to sit at the bar for conversation, I will walk in and go straight to the bar. If I wait in line for a table, I want a table, and the fact that I waited in line and arrived before others does not exclude me, as a paying customer, from being seated at a table solely because I am eating alone. The hostess became huffy and glared at me when I sweetly and politely told her, «Thank you, but I prefer a table.» After I was seated, I waited for 20 minutes before a waitress approached me, and the woman from the couple in line behind me approached as I waited, asking if I would mind sitting at the bar so she and her husband could have my table instead of waiting at the bar for a table to become available. Again, I said, thank you, but I, too, prefer a table. I wondered if the grumpy hostess had encouraged them to ask me. My slice of pizza arrived 10 minutes before my bowl of soup(and I had ordered a cup), and as usual, the service was perfunctory at best. Wake up, Ryan’s. There are Single People in America who sometimes prefer a bite out instead of cooking, just like folks in a couple or with families. Add more small tables, or appreciate that lone diners do not always wish to sit at the bar, or you may find you lose more customers to restaurants like Pub Americana and Carribean Breeze, with their smiling, friendly owners, bartenders, and wait staff who go out of their way to please and make customers feel at home – and also serve delicious food at Cocoa Village.

Took my boyfriend for what I hoped would be a really special birthday dinner to a new restaurant… We have a beautiful well behave dog that we love to take with us. I searched for a dog friendly restaurant and found Ryans. Went to the website and this is a «copy paste» from the website on the«About Us» tab, third paragraph: «Pick up a delicious pie, made with the freshest ingredients, and enjoy it at home, in the dining room or in our outdoor seating area, which is dog friendly!» Before leaving I called the restaurant to be sure our pup would be welcomed and the gal who I spoke with said yes he would be if he was well behaved. To just come in the door and go straight up the steps to the top deck. So we drove to the restaurant, to the outdoor deck. Everyone on deck was thrilled to see, pet, and inquire about our dog. EXCEPT our waitress who told us dogs weren’t allowed and we had to leave in a VERYRUDE manner. I told her that the website as well as the hostess said otherwise… She went and got the owner who we went round and round with. He said I was mistaken about the website and I misunderstood the waitress… We were very polite and tried to explain and he finally said we could stay«just this once»…At that point I just wanted to leave but my boyfriend suggested we just stay and give it a try. When food FINALLY arrived, delivered by «rude waitress», it was COLD. I asked for water with no ice and it came with ice… Birthday night was not much fun and I will NEVER return to Ryan’s. Nor will I recommend to our many friends… BTW…There was a dog with it’s owner on the deck when we arrived(no service vest)…Evidently this is OK as we were told he is a regular… Not to worry, I won’t become a regular…

Good bar food! Bring a big stomach because this is one of those places that serves a huge portion. Delicious drinks. You have outdoor seating on the first floor for your pets. Indoor first floor and an 2nd floor deck seating with bar and TVs. Service can sometimes be very slow due to seat-your-self seating. They don’t always know your ‘there’. If you ask to split a meal, they will just make two meals and charge you once for it. Cheap price considering how much you get.

I recently relocated to Merritt Island but I’m from Chicago. I can tell you the pizza is o.k. Better than most in the area, but I wouldn’t drive out of my way for it. Last night I dropped in with a out of town friend to grab a pizza in the bar area around 9:00 pm. While we were waiting for our pizza, our server was standing up(not on a break) talking to a friend of her’s at the table in the corner facing us, stuffing food into her mouth between sentences. This went on and off for close to 30 minutes! It wasn’t very busy, so I ask, ‘bar manager, manager!!!‘ The(1) pizza topping came out soggy. I held it up and it fell into a half circle. I called and spoke the the general manager the next day, informing him of my experience as a concerned patron, suggesting he may want to check the cameras at the times I stated. ‘Mike’ wasn’t concerned and replied saying, «Alright, I’ll take a look at the camera’s. Maybe she went and washed her hands.’ Yeah, maybe. I told him about the pizza, offering to send a photo of my soggy, half circle pizza. He didn’t want one. Prior to Ryan’s vast expansion, it was decent. Sad to see quality control disappear. I’m done with Ryan’s Pizza & Pub. SKIPIT!

Everything mediocre. Food is OK, nothing special but for price not bad. Service kinda slow and uninterested but for price OK. Drinks were OK. Ok seems to be common here. Come for the view and for some drinks at the bar but don’t expect too much.

Very good pizza. The atmosphere is great and the location is good when cocoa village has events. Great spot to watch a football game on the terrace.

Great views, great service and great food. What’s not to like. Cocoa has needed a place like this for a long time. Love it!

the atmosphere & service is pretty great. I will stick to drinks on the rooftop because the food is just not very fresh or good for the price noway a medium mushroom pizza should be almost 20 $ and it was flavorless. back lost a star for only having one cider and none on tap

It’s been 45 minutes and we are still waiting for food(just sandwiches). Got soft pretzel bites which were good but I agree totally with review below, $ 6.99 for 10 little pretzels bites plus $ 1 for dipping cheese is outrageous! Sorry no refills. Come on guys… it’s bread. Atmosphere out on the top deck is ok. But we won’t be back no matter how good the food is. Slow service killed it for us. Kids get cranky when they have to wait an hour and so do parents! On a positive note… the food was very good(I had a philly cheese steak). Ok… one more positive… they gave us 10% off as an apology for the slow service.

I never know how to judge a place that only has 9 reviews, but we were hungry and needed a family friendly establishment in a pinch. Fortunately, the FSU/UF game was on, so it didn’t matter how loud we were(as is customary for a family with a 2&5 year old). I ordered a Stella that came out super cold and stayed cold the entire meal(I get my money’s worth for draft. Ha ha). We ordered ten garlic Parmesan wings and a 16″ beef/mushroom pizza. We left nothing on the plates. The kids were practically licking their plates when they were finished. This will be at the top of our pizza list for sure. They even have a 24″ pie and all their pizzas are 8 slices. So you could feed a few families on one of those. Give it a go, if you are in the downtown Cocoa area!

Service was very friendly and nice, pizza was tasty and huge, but we felt that 6.99 for 10 little pretzels bites was a bit much.

Great new location facing the river! We used to visit the old location in cocoa village. New location is just down the street. Parking is a little easier and the new deck looks great!

The salad & pizza were excellent. However our waitress paid little attention to us, she spent approximately 10+ minutes hanging out with her friends at a table next to us we could not get her attention for drink refills or to clear the salad plates from the table. Eventually another waitress saw our delemma and she took care of everything.

The bartender snapped at me and my brother while we were there last night. There is plenty of room to sit at the bar and eat but she made us wait forever to take our drink order and then got snappy with us because we wanted to sit down. The restrooms were filthy and we decided not to eat there just finish our drinks to leave. I would not recommend going here.
