I have been a beer enthusiast for as long as I can remember and when I first tried Jim Koch’s Sam Adams Boston Lager in 1985, I was hooked on craft beer. Since that time I have tried hundreds of different craft beers however, after relocating to Florida from Pittsburgh in 1992, I found it hard to find a lot of different craft beers. There was an abundance of mass produced yellow fizzy water and the occasional Sam Adams or Guinness. After many years of frustrating searches for a craft beer variety, I had, had enough and began brewing my own beer. I figured at least it would always be something unique and diverse. Actually they all turned out to be very drinkable. However, home brewing can be time consuming and between running a small business with my wife and raising kids, the brews became farther and farther apart. Fortunately though, now there are a number of small breweries in Brevard County creating a plethora of great craft beer for us all to enjoy.
