Waited like 30 minutes for my coffee at the drive through. Your location needs to work on efficiency.

I’ve come to the conclusion that they overachieve in drive thru service because that’s the area they put all their effort into. I went inside the store today and my sister ordered a sandwich. The cashier rang her up and put in the order. It was taking long for my sister to get her sandwich so she went up the counter to ask what was going on. They told her the sandwich she asked for wasn’t available. Ok? Why didn’t the cashier check for that first? And also once they realized they didn’t have it, why did they not find my sister to let her know? That’s stupid and rude. It’s almost as if they were like: we ran out, oh well… let the girl come up here and figure it out for herself. What a bunch of idiots. That would never go down in the drive thru!!! When you realize you messed up and sold/promised someone a certain thing that you can’t provide, you should go out of your way to find them and apologize. You should ask if they’d like to be refunded or if they’d like another option. Come on, customer service 101! As I said before, they excel in drive thru service but they need a better balance. You can’t be amazing at one thing and shitty at another. I know last time I said I didn’t care what went on inside because I use the drive thru mostly but I take that back. Today was one of the rare times I walked in but I was pretty disappointed. It’d be nice to have a Starbucks that has it ALL under control. And if I can depend on their drive thru service to be on point then it’d be nice if they were consistent in all facets. This way I could be like: I feel like going in and sitting down or this line of cars is too long let me go inside. But I can’t depend on them delivering the same kind of service they do in the drive thru, so I won’t want to go inside EVER! Trust me, I only go inside if someone tells me to meet them there, otherwise all drive thru. So they get 2 stars now, not 3.

Its a hit or miss at this Starbucks. I noticed they are rarely ready for me when I get to the drive through order speaker/window. They let me know they will be right with me. Today I was helped by Mark and he was great! Friendly and knowledgeable of the sandwiches when I was asking about the various ones they offer. I come here for the convienent drive thru.

I’m not happy. I went in today to buy a thermos for my hubby and decided to get a slice of warm coffee cake too! I kept smelling this weird odor while driving back to the office, pulled my coffee cake out of the bag and it’s burned. What’s up with that? Really? I have to drive all the way back over there, wait for another slice to be warmed and wait for an apology. So I took the burnt coffee cake back. What happens next… that was the last piece of coffee cake in the store. I had to settle for banana nut bread and an apology. Hopefully this was a one time event. I’ll be back.

I usually don’t like leaving reviews, good or bad. But customer service here is the worst! If they get something wrong on your order they act like it was your fault and can’t just nicely place the item. They have to toss it to you. Every single time it’s the same service(must be the bitter morning crew). Also, they need to learn their lingo. Tepid means neither warm not cold!

This location is terrible. I work close by and even though the drive through is much more convenient, I’d much rather park in the mall across the street and go to that Starbucks than come here. Not only have I had to drive back on many an occasion because my drink was made horribly, but on top of that the baristas will insist on that being the proper way to make the drink(sorry every other Starbucks out there, I guess you all didn’t get the memo on how drinks are«supposed» to be made). I hope management can turn it around, I have no problem reconsidering this review if you guys make the effort. Until then, two thumbs down.

I am no longer married so there is no wife in the picture and therefore don’t need to deal with Starbucks or here anymore. Bye!

This morning I ordered a Venti Chai Tea Latte at the drive thru, instead of a Venti I got a Grande. When I told the guy at the window that I had ordered a Venti he took it back, gave it back to me 10 seconds later in a Venti cup filled with foam! ¿Seriously? Starbucks is definitely not what it used to be

Coffe and service was good. I got there at 9:30 pm to talk to a friend and we stayed til the place closed. We were at the patio and Around 10:20 we moved inside because they were closing the patio. Understandable. While my friend and I were talking they started plying music so loud I could barely hear what my friend was saying. It was so rude and I think disrespectful.

I been to many starbucks but most of them are fast… So whats the point of a drive through if they take longer if you go inside? Theres usually never parking either!

I come here from time-to-time since I occasionally work nearby. I regularly order the bacon, gouda and egg and a tall coffee and they are delicious. I understand that many people can have a love-hate relationship with this place because it has a drive-thru, but yet it can be a staggering wait. Yes, the wait at the drive-thru can be annoying and I usually just avoid it and go in. My other gripe is that one time my breakfast sandwich ended up at the drive-thru area. I finally asked the fella how much longer for my order and he discovered that it was at the drive-thru; oops. I was pleased that one of the manager’s told a guy that was just hanging out there that he needs to order something if he is going to be there taking up space. After all this is a business not a non-profit park. Our status is that we are LTR since I will be back in this area.

This has got to be the worst Starbucks I have ever been to and I’ve been to ALOT. I have no choice but to stop by here every night before my grave yard shift since it’s the only thing open in the vicinity at 11:20pm. I don’t think they’ve ever completely got my drink right or my boss’ drink. The other day instead of my usual 6 shot 6 pump soy sf vanilla latte I got a chai tea. wtf. Then I went the next day and told them and the guy preceded to tell me There’s nothing he could do and that I should have called because how do they know if I’m lying or not?! WOW. If I could give half a star I would and I’d only give that half because of this girl who used to work there named Ariel was so awesome but she probably ran away and never looked back! Or swam! Lol

Came to this Starbucks at 11:10pm knowing it closes at midnight. They were making a night delivery so we decided to wait, seeing that it was taking to long we decided to park as we were walking towards the lobby the delivery man tells us the lobby is closed and rudely says we have to wait till he’s done. I’m here asking myself why would he park the delivery truck and block the drive thru during business hours. My friend decided to go around and back up into the drive way and a gentlemen approached the window, he laughed and was willing to help and took our order and he returns because the manager tells him otherwise. He gives us this BS excuse she apparently made up. I repeated to him I was already here and he already had our orders and he said he couldn’t. At this point I was furious and I asked what was his district managers name and he gladly repeated Mary, as if they have no repercussions. Management really needs to rethink their priorities. I’ve been in management for many of my job experience and I would always go out of my way to please the customer and generate profit for the company. But I guess now you treat customers like crap and you block the drive thru entrance during working hours might be an effective way of managing a company.

Longest drive thru ever but Starbucks is worth waiting for. Felt like the staff was kinda not that friendly but then again could have just been cuz it was busy. Ordered a caramel white chocolate mocha with caramel sauce and it was way too sweet. Felt like they used too much syrup and I was drinking liquid cocaine or something. But overall I will Always love Starbucks. A bad experience won’t keep be from going, I’ll just stop going to that particular location.

This Starbucks is by far the one plagued with the unfriendliest staff. I don’t come to this location a lot because I don’t live in Chula Vista, so I have been able to overlook the last few experiences I’ve had there. Tonight, however, really upset me and I will not be going back. You know the little plastic green stoppers? In my opinion they’re a total waste of plastic unless the customer asks for one specifically. Every drive-thru I go to has the stopper in the cup and I never understand this because I’m always going to drink the drink right when I get it. At other locations I always ask the baristas to remove the stopper and instead give me a straw… No one has ever had an issue with this. They gladly throw the stopper out(waste of plastic) and hand me my drink. At this particular location, the man working at the window refused to take the stopper out, saying he had to keep it in the cup. When I explained to him that I 1) did not ask for the stopper and 2) never have an issue at any other Starbucks, he actually interrupted me and said«okay thank you BYE,» all the while shoving my drink through the window into my hands. It is really bizarre to me that an employee would not do something as minor as removing a plastic stopper that he put in the cup in the first place. His attitude and unhelpful demeanor was the final nail in the coffin for this location. I won’t be coming back. It’s unfortunate because this location is a drivethru and open late; two things that make it very desirable.

Probably one of the worst customer service I have had at a Starbucks. Unfriendly, and at least 3 people after me received they’re drink before me. I was waiting on just one drink, and it wasn’t nothing extreme to make last I checked.
