So this is rare for me, I don’t eat this place often even though I think it’s yummy. My experience today was friendly by cristian the cashier. That is until the manager gave such a nasty attitude about me ordering extra cheese. (I don’t mind paying but don’t assume I’ll be bothered by having to pay extra) with that said I won’t return.

This is the location that I frequent most, it’s conveniently close to a lot of other popular businesses. Have been coming here for about 10 years and haven’t had any major let downs. For fast food this location is way better than a McDonalds or Jack in the Box, staff is always friendly, and food is always hot. The chili cheese fries are awesome as well as the chili cheese dogs and corn dogs.

Love eating here and you can actually eat inside. Always my favorite cheat meal. They also have a play table for the kids. The have several arts and crafts that will keep the kids busy until you finish eating your meal. Everyone is always friendly.

This place sucks. You ask for extra cheese and they give you the same amount yet charge u extra for the cheese. My bf ordered a chili cheese dog with mustard only and the guy gives him a hot dog with mustard. It gets better we ask for jalepeños and are told they charge 30cents per pepper so okay we go back to our food that’s getting cold already to get change & still have to wait about 15 min for jalepeños. We also mentioned to the gentlemen that the chili cheese dog had no chili nor cheese & he said he couldn’t do anything about it since he only charged us for a hot dog. Who the f*** asks for a chili cheese dog with mustard only when they really want a «hot dog with mustard» he would have just asked for that. Annoying we will never be back

Food was as expected greasy and delicious! Corn dogs and chili cheese dogs mmmmm the chili fries are a hit or miss today was a miss, it seems like every time I don’t order them and eat my husbands that’s when they are delicious lol! The service is the only reason why I rated them a 3. I understand you probably only employ minimum wage employees but they probably shouldn’t treat people rude that order $ 30 worth of food every time. Some times I get this really nice guy he must be the manager he loves me when I keep ordering and using none of the coupons displayed. I like the dogs that’s what keeps me coming back :)

For California Weinerschnitzel is a must for Chili Dog and Chili Fry cravings.
This location is always clean and located right next to a Starbucks. Corn dogs are a must if you’re looking just for a quick snack.
If you don’t care about the calories and you want some good chili, this is my favorite location to get chili dogs.

Ate here last night. Chili dogs seemed to be undercooked (hot dogs). And the chili cheese fries were made with what tasted like day old fries. Worst experience at this restaurant chain ever. Never going back!

Now that the place doesn’t really employ kids that mess around, this place had employees who actually care about their job. The manager was the one who served us and she was a gem. Not that I expect for five star service from a hot dog stand but the manager was very clear in getting the order correctly and didn’t try to screw over my friend with giving him a bottled water because he didn’t want soda.
A sincere smile and attitude is what takes for me to give a place five stars, well that and the taste of the food.

It’s a hot dog.

I like hotdogs with chile. I get the all beef, Chile and cheese topped with onions. Food is served quickly and hot. There are better deli places for dogs… but the prices are cheaper here. All I’m saying is the price is equal to the quality. Bam!

Not the healthiest of foods but one of my childhood favorites with a little bit of contemporary sales promotions doesn’t hurt the pocket book. The quintessential cheap eats =)
Today was a typical summer’s day and obviously I was too lazy to prepare something in the kitchen… I turned to my daughter and said what would you like to have for lunch? She laughed and said, «anything Papa… except for Phở.» Whoa, where did that come from??? Actually, it’s true. I do have Phở 3x a week =(
Anyways, a funny looking hot dog ran across the television screen and offered specials on chili dogs & chili fries. We picked up our things and made our way out the door… I knew exactly what we were going to have… And my daughter was in for a surprise =)
Location: We turned on the corner of H Street and Broadway. The parking lot was a little small but parked in the Music Trader parking lot next door.
The building: The signature little red & yellow triangle shaped store still looks the same as I remember it growing up. But, of course, with a couple coats of paint. Unfortunately, they still didn’t have a drive through but the walk up window was just fine with us. Just remember, they don’t make stores like this anymore =(
Food: We ordered two chili dogs & one chili fries and washed it down with a 32 oz. Cherry Lemonade (two straws, please). All for less that $ 10.
Eating area: Very clean and well kept. The classic/​vintage seating was still in tact with old school tables. The over head coverings made sitting outdoors a little more enjoyable.
Priceless: I told my daughter, growing up as a child, her uncles and I would ride our bikes all the way up here just to have these ‘magical’ chili dogs. She loved it! We laughed and laughed… I would not dare tell her they taste like COSTCO; probably cheaper over there, too! But we weren’t complaining… It satisfied our hungry tummies =)
So if you’re in the area, and you want a little treat come by and have a chili dog & fries combo. Then, maybe you can share a… «I remember when this was… kinda moment» for yourself, too.

So many memories at this place. Years ago when I was just knee high to a grasshopper this is where I’d want to go for lunch on Sunday’s after Church when it was my time to pick, screw the boring one in IB this was the one I wanted to go to. I loved me a Wienerschnitzel corn-​dog back in the day, now not so much. But this place has had a face lift and is still the cute Wienerschnitzel I remember just be careful of the pigeons they will steal your french fries if you aren’t watching.
