I have been coming here more frequently lately. The food is Panda Express, which is consistent whichever location you go to. however today I came in and one of the employees definitely deserves a shoutout here. I looked at his name tag«Angelo» was his name. He was friendly & polite. The table I was sitting at was facing the food line, and I noticed he gave every single customer the same great customer service he gave me today. It’s something so small, but so rare to see nowadays. So thank you Angelo!

Very clean, inviting eating area. They are quick and the food is always fresh. Friendly environment. Surrounded by Great Shops. Highly reccommend Pick-Up but order on the phone for faster service. You actually will skip line and go straight to cashier to pick up your Hot and Ready Meal.

Food is good here that’s the only reason there’s two stars. Walked in at 8:30 you could here the girls on the line complaining about closing time. There was a lot of people that just showed up and the cooks and girls serving seemed upset to have to do their job. I over heard the manager Kam tell one of the girls that the place closed at 9:30 and put them in there place. He was doing their job pretty much. I’m sure they’re gonna have a meeting after they lock. But anyways it was a plain bad experience when it was time to pay I asked for egg rolls and the girl said to me «they’ll be ready in 7 minutes you still wanna wait?» Like really??? I’ve been waiting this long. Maybe those workers should be happy they have a job, and if they don’t like working for people then maybe they’re in the wrong business! I think they would be better off working at the DMV

This is the most consistently super busy Panda around. I have been to this location 5 – 6 times now and my experience is always the same. The ONLY plus is that the food is always fresh because it stays busy. The staff is incredibly slow and unorganized. There’s always a line of customers so why not have more staff? The lobby ends up getting neglected with dirty tables and overflowing trash cans. There’s one worker named Angelo and he’s always extremely nice so I must give credit where it’s due.

Very disappointing place. I’m writing this review while still sitting here(10÷6÷15 @ 11:45am) in case the management needs to know who was working. This place is like a circus. The clowns(I mean the crew) has no professionalism. Everyone is yelling and talking about their personal lives. Not sure who the ring leader is, but everyone needs training on how to conduct themselves in a professional manner. Food tastes the same, but the kind of people employed here makes the food taste bad.

Typical Panda food but the service is sketchy and they are almost always out of spring rolls and the Fire Cracker Chicken. Oh and no military discount at this one.

We just moved a mile from our old rental house. We used to go to the PE at the Otay Ranch Mall. & I usually loved it without complaints. This was my 1st experience at this PE on Otay Lakes & Eastlake roads… My husband brought home take out. It was still warm when it got to us which was nice. The food tasted fine… esp the mandarin chicken(yum)… I gave only 3 stars because I was SUPER disappointed that my walnut shrimp, w/only 6 pieces of shrimp, only had literally like 2 walnuts in it?!

Very nice workers here. Very friendly and welcoming. I rarely get that ever at a Panda Express.

VERY rude. Told me they don’t have potstickers in a mocking voice and I asked if they were the only panda that didn’t and he said«we don’t serve potstickers» so I looked it up and it’s right online I’m not an idiot dude. Don’t go here unless you want panda with not a lot of options, a dirty restroom, and jerk workers. By far one of the worst fast food workers I have dealt with.

What can I say it’s Panda Express, can’t go wrong with the Orange chicken, or Kung pao chicken. They are open late which is a plus.

So disgusted by this Panda. I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience was too bad to ignore. I watched an employee serve food on a plate, dump it back into the tray of food, then place the plate back into the stack to reuse. Gross. Staff is going back and forth between the cash register and serving food without washing hands. Not sure if you’re aware of this, but money is dirty!!! One also went and answered a phone while getting food off of the grill and putting it into the hot trays to serve. Again, no hand washing. It should be common sense to anyone touching food that you don’t touch dirty phones or money in between without re-washing. If that’s not common sense for you, I don’t want you handling my food, thanks! From this point our visit got worse as they had an issue with their printer and had me stand at the register for over ten minutes waiting for my receipt. They switched to the other register and person after person paid and walked past us while they asked me to wait for them to print the receipt! I have thee kids with me. One is screaming, another is jumping around, and the third is begging to eat her food before it gets cold. Too late. By the time the receipt was settled(which was ridiculous… They just had to re ring it all up. I never ended up with a receipt for my card), our food was cold. As I spoke with the manager, she walked away from me while I was in the middle of a sentence. She was on and off of the phone during most of this. I ended up getting a refund and leaving and I won’t bother going back!

Keeping this review simple. I love Eastlake, it’s where I lived majority of my life so a part of me feels a need to defend the area and it’s shops when people diss it, but this time. I understand. — 2nd in line(almost 9pm) about 4 people working. had to wait almost 20 minutes to be helped. why!!! — ordered the honey sesame chicken(my favorite) and they said it would take 5 minutes to make more. Cool. I’ll wait. ….(eventually learned it’s not cool at all.) — the lady screamed something out loud I guess for the cook to hear. no response. Few minutes lady. she screams the same thing again. no response. Almost 10 minutes pass. The cook comes out. looking pissed as fk about life. and slowly(and I mean sloooowly starts to cook) — at this point no one is realizing my container and my bfs bowl is all types of open(uhh.can someone close it?!) — after waiting. and more waiting. A lady asked if we wanted to just pay and wait(might as well) — paid. Went to the fountain to get a drink. my boyfriend loves their tea. yup. it was nasty and runny. He decided to get Dr. Pepper. yup. nasty. and runny. Majority of their drinks were just… well. you guessed it, nasty and runny. — finally got our food after 5 years passed. tried to find a clean chair to sit in but a lot of the chairs had weird wet or idk what kinda stains(I’m a germ freak) so eventually we sat in the far corner — the food was delicious. obviously since they just made it. The décor of the place is beautiful and that’s about all that’s good with the place. other than it being in Eastlake :) Update to a more caring staff and they’ll do so much better. or just order online and avoid everything all together. 1 – 5 Appearance(place): 4 Appearance(food): 3 Service: 1.5 Experience(as guest): 2 Mouth feel: 4 Taste: 4 Overall: 3

Really solid Panda Express. Clean store. Two of the big potential issues at places like this are portion sizes and freshness of items. This location is always above average to, excellent in this regard. Staff seems to remain so, little, turnover which helps and creates a welcoming experience. Most of the staff recognize me even though I am not a true regular.

A Panda Express in Otay Town Center. The food is pretty consistent with their other chains. Cafeteria style of picking your food, per the norm. The staff is actually nicer in this location and they hook you up with your rice and noodles, that’s a plus. I saw that you can now order online and pick up your food. They cater as well. I may have to try out their new services and see what that’s all about.

Panda Express is a chain restaurant, so their food is pretty consistent with other locations. When we arrived, they had just run out of Orange Chicken. It’s everyone’s favorite, isn’t it? We purchased the rest of our food and waited for the Orange Chicken. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, though very busy. The line was consistently long, so that’s good to see for a business. People like it there. I do wish there were more entrees that used sweet n sour sauce. What happened to the sweet n sour pork? I don’t eat here too much because the food is pretty oily, and it can get pretty expensive with 3 people. TIP: Love noodles? Order a large side of Chow Mein. A quick noodly snack will tide you over, and satisfy your Chinese food craving!

The only way to judge a Panda Express is by it’s orange chicken. If the Panda has orange chicken that is hard, overcooked, and breaks your teeth, you can be pretty sure everything is going to be terrible. Sadly this is the case with most Panda Express restaurants that I’ve been to. I’m happy to report, however, that this Panda has great Orange Chicken — consistently! Never overcooked and always fresh. Everything else I’ve had here has been excellent as well. I’ve gotta give it 4 stars because as far as Panda Express restaurants go, this one is great!

Tonight my meal was good. I learned from experience from other locations to ask for fresh. That way it’s warm and tasty. Aside from my being good I noticed the place was clean and employees where helping each other besides just chatting. The cool went in break and I saw the cashier go back and dry up some food. Yes he even washed his hands before he started It’s an odd occur acme these days when employees work as a team I. These fast food places. Kudos for this location. Much better attitude of employees compare to the other location my otay mall.

People might say all the Panda Express is same because it’s a chain. I would have agreed with rest of the people before this place. I assume the Chinese guy is the owner and when he’s there, it’s definitely better food and portions. The first time I came here, I was hungry and needed something quick and nothing around the area sounded appealing. We were greeted with welcoming atmosphere and was offered sample to aid our decision(like anywhere else). The samples were big too… not itty bitty pieces. We got chow mien and 3 entrees. The third entrée comes is a box and it was stuffed. Don’t forget to get chili sauce packets. Add that to chow mien and it gives it extra depth to the flavor. All their food was freshly made or at least all the ones we got and it was great.
