The food is good and after a workout 14A is my favorite! Will be going there again, my weekly protein fix!

The food is wonderful. My husband and I try something new each time we go there. I agree with another reviewer on #18 — so many good things you need to go back again and again. The seafood is FABULOUS! Reasonably priced — great place to go when you want good food and do not feel like dressing up. I see some reviews that are negative towards the beef dishes — we determined that Vietnamese beef dishes are prepare differently than most are accustomed to; we too are not fans so skip beef in all Vietnamese restaurants. Like olives — you either like it or you do not.

It wasn’t all that great, I bought the beef stew and it was literally just beef and phở broth, but the fresh baguette with butter was delicious by itself. Over all it was an okay phở shop.

Love the variety of food. On a chilly day Phở, cool day smoothies and on any day the Lemon Garlic Pepper Fried Calamari. And of course service very friendly.

This Phở restaurant is conveniently close to my house and I enjoy the food here. I usually order the phở soup with rare steak and tendon and it’s always satisfying. This time I tried something new and decided to try this mixed plate(I’m sorry I forgot what it was called) but I am including a picture of it to my review. It came with SOMUCHMEAT! It had broken rice, some kind of noodles, pickled veggies, charbroiled pork, pork chips, charbroiled beef, Vietnamese meatloaf, shrimp on sugar cane(my fave) and crispy bean curd with shrimp paste inside-DELISH! Oh and it also came with some phở broth too on the side! This plate was more than enough for 2 people and it only cost about $ 12 I highly recommend this plate if you want to try something new you will get a taste of everything!

I always order my meat rare(for the soup) because the broth will finish cooking it. Quality food, my favorite place to go for phở

This use to be my go to phở spot but either they changed their chef or their management. I’ve given them 3+ chances(just in case they were having a bad day) but the service and food quality has really changed for the worst. I was here this evening around 5pm on a rainy day and they were empty, there was one other party other than ours and they still messed up on our order. I ordered a phở and the broth taste like water. Sad to say but this will be my last time here.

This place is absolutely disgusting, I ordered chicken phở. First off, it was an off yellow color and tasted like no other phở I’ve ever tried in my life(in a bad way) and there was a shrimp shell in my chicken soup. The chicken looked like frozen chicken. The only reason I am giving this place one star is because the lady was nice and because I can’t give 0 stars

This place is a cluster — -! Walked in and 3 other parties were waiting to be seated. The cashier was taking her time helping a customer order to go, then started to ring up the next customer, not even acknowledging the growing line going out the door. After that transaction she was about to help the next customer with their bill when they politely said she could assist the growing line of people waiting to be seated/acknowledged. I eventually ordered to go, but watched the same thing happen over and over. One guy was standing forever and she eventually asked if he needed to pay when he said he was actually waiting to be seated. It’s been 30 minutes since we ordered just 1 phở and a rice dish. Still waiting for my order and so are a bunch of people. She keeps asking us what we ordered. Then this guy came out and asked each of us what we ordered. FML I just want to eat!

Order #18!!! Just do it, you will not regret it. The fresh spring rolls are so amazing and really cheap compared to other places. Ever since I moved to Northern CA I am missing this place so much. I regularly placed to-go orders and sat down to eat here. It was my go to place for fresh spring rolls. One order of their fresh spring rolls is so filling and they give the PERFECT amount of peanut dipping sauce every time. I also love their Thai Ice Tea with Tapioca, so flavorful and refreshing. Their Shrimp Fried Rice is another one of my favorites here, they quantity fits the price. The #25 Skewered satay beef(2 sticks) is another appetizer that I would order regularly. There is something about their #25 that is so savory and I love the dipping sauce they include with it. Their #81 Spicy satay fried rice with BBQ pork is mouthwatering! This is a go to place for me whenever I come back home and visit family and friends. They have also state the prices of their party platters on the menus which is really helpful, I hate having to specifically ask for those prices. The waiters and waitresses are always so polite and very on top of things. My water glass is never empty here because they come by regularly to fill it.

They have a lemongrass broth phở that’s on point. My boyfriend and his brother have raved about it for so long and I finally tried it a few weeks ago and man, it was tasty. It’s oilier than regular phở and there are a lot of spices so take caution when slurping up the broth or else you could end up in a coughing fit like I did. It was worth it though. I also tried their mango smoothie and that was really good — fresh, sweet, and refreshing. They use half and half to make their smoothies so watch out if you’re lactose intolerant like me — just take a lactaid beforehand and you’ll be straight. The only downside is they’re so far away. There’s another location in Kearny Mesa but they didn’t have the lemongrass phở(at least not when I went) so that’s slightly disappointing. Maybe they’ll eventually have it at both locations? Until then, I’ll probably only get the lemongrass phở when I visit the outlets by the border!

Great service, great food, simple in and out and no hassle. Love this place! Every thing I ate here was amazing. Beef stew, house special, phở, egg rolls, and spring rolls are soooooo good!

Mixed reviews on here but I’m pretty content with how everything went here tonight . Parking right up front(we lucked out) . As soon as you walk in you’re greeted and walked to your table or booth(we got the booth) . Lots to chose from the menu and since I’m not a professional I had my party order for me on their recommendations . I was very satisfied I might say . Server was attentive and friendly . I will return since I feel like there’s so much to choose from . Highly recommend!

Great for groups and great value where your bill can be under $ 12 per person. The variety if smoothies range from Mango Pomegranate to Avocado. These are real fruit no color added smoothies which are refreshing. We generally order the rare beef phở, won ton noodle soup with egg noodles, and the fish with broken noodles. It’s our family go to place when I don’t feel like cooking and when I don’t want the calories from the Mandarin Chicken Wings next door.

Came back here on a Monday about 11am for my cousin’s bday. We had about 8 in our party. We were quickly seated and it was not busy about 4 other tables were already eating or having food brought to them. Food: the Phở was good hot fresh an hour after they had opened. Egg rolls were so-so. Service: food came out moderatly for our large party. But there was only 1 waiter taking care of the whole place. My party always had to flag him down since he was the only one waiter/cashier. Update: same ol’ same & automatic gratuity is applied for large parties.

Food is a little below average at this establishment. I have eaten here a few times w/my family because my mom & dad enjoy it here, but I think my parents’ taste buds don’t recognize the food here is just not that great. We came on a Tuesday evening around 7:15 pm and it was pretty busy. It took us about 15 minutes to order. We had a few Bahn mi sandwiches(pork and BBQ chicken), an order of phở w/rare steak, spring rolls w/pork and shrimp, Bun Bo Hue(well done steak, pork balls and tendon hot/spicy soup) and short ribs w/rice. By the food arrived, we still have not received our drinks. We just wanted water. We had to remind them a few times to get that. And when we got that, you can taste that it was tap, so better order the fountain drinks! The food wasn’t that great. The spring rolls didn’t taste fresh and the wrapped was too soggy/soft. My bun bo hue wasn’t even spicy. My mom could’ve eaten this and she has a very low tolerance for spicy food. My sister’s phở was okay and my parents enjoyed constructing their own bahn mi’s here. My niece and nephew ate their spare ribs and rice, but then they are still young and didn’t know if it tasted better. The original location off Convoy has better food and better service. I’d spend the extra $ to go Phở Hiep or just drive 20 miles north.

This is definitely a place I don’t go to enough. A hot steaming bowl of Phở noodles can really hit the spot. My favorite is menu item 14a which is Phở with lemon grass and spice(Have the napkins on standby). They serve all the traditional broken rice dishes. They have expanded a lot on their blended shakes as well. One of my favorite vietnamese sandwiches(Banh Mi) is also available. I usually order one of these bad boys to go with my soup! They also have menu items to satisfy your curry cravings!
