Georgia and Company Construction, Inc. has practiced general building construction since its foundation in 1986 by Jay Mortensen. Georgia and Company Construction, Inc. was incorporated in the State of Illinois in 1986; in order to facilitate national expansion efforts, Georgia and Company Construction, Inc. and additional subsidiary JP Mortensen Construction, Inc. were founded in 2000. Each companies has experience with a wide variety of commercial and residential building, hotel-​motel, custom homes and high-​rise residential sectors including, educational facilities, warehouse/​distribution facilities, athletic facilities, correctional facilities, office, design-​build, and more. Georgia and Company Construction, Inc. continues to invest thousands of dollars in capital, equipment and regularly employs hundreds of engineers and skilled tradesmen.
