ParcLand Crossing Apartmnets

I love the property and location… until the problem is solved, my resolve is to do everything in my power to remedy the issue. This property is pet friendly, unfortunately not all pet owners understand what it means. Check out the lawn on the north side of bldg 8, disgusting. In addition to the pet feces that riddles the lawn, the hallways are marked with pet urine and pet hair. I have made multiple complaints about the pets, it is horribly unfortunate that pet owners have the option to move in but I cannot elect to remain away from the animal feces, urine and hair. I have a 2yr old son that cannot walk/​play outside, but pet owners can roam as they please. I advise you to view this area and keep in mind that Pillar took ownership in 2015, so I imagine that this will get worse before it gets better without immediate intervention. Please I am not a disgruntled resident, come view the north side of bldg 8, it honestly is a litterbox for pet owners. There is $ 150 reward/​penalty but Parcland has done nothing other than send the email stating as much. Even if I manage to videotape a resident violating the notice, how would I identify/​track them down. Bottom line, find a place that separates or disallows pets from the general population. I love the complex, but I am forced to live in filth. Check out the 2 picks prior to my personal visit and reassurance visit from the «District Manager» at Pillar Communities, James… I was assured it would be addressed immediately and efforts taken to maintain the cleanliness of the property. Nothing was done, excuse my language, but not ONE piece of SHIT was picked up. Basically I’m in the rear of the property, so I don’t matter, because the lawn in front of the rental office is spotless. The pictures before are the same today if not worse.

I have been living here for 8 months and so far I like it. One negative thing is that I have asked them to spray my patio 4 times for bugs and still it appears they have never done it. I have seen multiple black widows out there. And had to just go to Home Depot and get bug spray myself to fix the problem. Super annoying.

This apartment property used to be owned by Marc Taylor, but they sold to Pillar. What a mistake that was. When Pillar took over, they got rid of all the Marc Taylor employees, from the office, down to the maintenance. Let me tell you, their replacements didn’t even compare!!! I lived there for almost four years and watched the quality dip. Do yourself a favor, and stick with a Marc Taylor property if you would like to stay happy and enjoy the place you live and call home.

I have only been here for about a month, but so far, so good! I haven’t really checked out the amenities too much yet but the things that DO make a big impression on me are: the amount of pet waste stations! Great to have if you’re a dog owner. And lots of grass and trails for walking and «business» The landscaping and grounds are always neat. There was an issue with the front gate but it was repaired timely. My apartment was in great condition when I moved in. I have used the grills and picnic areas and they are working, kept up and clean. For those who take these things for granted, trust me! There are communities that DON’T make sure these simple things are tended to. I’ve only had minor work orders and they were fixed right away. I have a garage and a quiet apartment that offers Valet Waste (which I have always been a fan of) and a friendly office staff. So I’m happy!
