Moving across the country from Pennsylvania to Texas with 3 young children, starting a new job and buying a house within weeks is a huge challenge that can be quite overwhelming. We had a 2 day window to visit Austin. Giving Gilbert only a days notice, he spent the entire next day with us at the drop of a hat. After quickly telling him what we were looking for, he had the whole day planned, taking our family around and showing us many different areas and homes. He ended up showing us our dream home before we had to hurry back to PA the very next day.
Over the following 3 weeks he took care of absolutely everything for us while we packed up in PA. When I say everything, I mean everything… from doing our walkthrough, to managing our upgrades in our new home, helping our PA realtor stay on track, and keeping the ball rolling with the title companies so that we could close on one home and quickly make the hike to TX to close on the other. He was there any time we called and had a question and contacted us frequently with updates and to see if we needed anything.
We honestly could not have done this without him! We cannot say enough about how much Gilbert did for us during our relocation, he really was a lifesaver!

Even though we purchased our home a few months ago, we still text Gilbert from time to time. Gilbert was so patient with us, I almost felt bad for him sometimes but he was always very honest which we appreciated. He wasn’t out to just sell you any expensive home, he really wanted us to find a home in a neighborhood that would work for us. There were times when I expressed interest in a neighborhood and before I knew it, he was out there scoping it out for us a few hours later. I’m so glad he was recommended to us and I’d recommend him over and over. When we decide to sell our home one day, we would definitely call Gilbert. Very awesome realtor and so easy to get along with. Oh and he texts, which some old school realtors don’t. This is, well extremely convenient especially when you’re working all day and want updates. :) Yey Gilbert!

Love this guy. Gilbert isn’t your stereotypical agent that’s just looking to find you a home quickly and make a buck. Very patient and laid back, but great at what he does. He hung with our family as we figured out what part of town we wanted to live in, driving from one end to the other for us for a couple months. He’s very knowledgeable about the whole area and had great advice and feedback, answering our endless questions. We ran into several people along the way (from other agents to lenders to title companies) who have worked with Gilbert and they all had great things to say about their interactions with him. Seems to be extremely well-​respected and proven in the industry.

Gilbert has assisted me in a lease, selling and purchasing of homes. Lease was very seamless as Gilbert had available properties lined out and we located a home in one day. On to the selling of current home, WOW, sold in four days for more than listing price. Enough said!!! Purchase of home was a little more daunting as we had some very specific requirements. Located what was to be the perfect house. Called Gilbert, viewed house that day, made offer the next and closed in thirty days. Have one more to sell, have a tremendous amount of confidence in his ability to make it happen in a very short amount of time. He is always available and very accommodating to your needs. I would highly recommend Gilbert, great agent and a good guy.

When we were considering selling our house in Hutto, we were introduced to Gilbert. He came out and met with us and did his walkthrough of our home. He was professional from the beginning! He was never pushy and he told us what we were going to need to do to list our home for the most money. Now, most will do this, however, it was for us, not for his check! When he gave us the tips, they were done in an encouraging way. He was our teammate, he listened to what we needed and helped us get there! We even through him for a loop by calling on a Sunday morning and telling him that we found a different house that we wanted. He wrote the contract for us that day and we got our offer in, hours before another offer was offered! He rolled with us and supported us with great guidance! Ditto everything the other reviewers have said about Gilbert Gonzalez! There aren’t enough compliments I can give him. Buying a home can be very stressful, but Gilbert’s patience, honesty, and professionalism made it a seamless process. I can’t tell you how many houses we viewed or how many neighborhoods we visited… my wife and I were at the point of giving up, but Gilbert encouraged us not to settle and truly made us feel like we were his only clients. I’m very picky, but throughout the entire process, Gilbert was a trooper. He managed the entire process from soup to nuts, and introduced us to an option we had never even considered — building! Now 3 years later I’m in my dream home, and I owe it all to Gilbert Gonzalez! Throughout this process we actually became friends; I can’t say that about any other realtor I’ve ever used, and I’ve moved 7 times over the last 14 years.

Gilbert was recommended by a trusted friend who used his services to purchase a house in Pflugerville. Working with Gilbert was a pleasure from beginning to well past the end of our business agreement. He was incredibly responsive, answering his phone 90% of the time day or night and returning calls within minutes if he didn’t. As a single father with a 5 year old and a demanding job, he made selling my house as painless as possible. From our first meeting, I knew he was the person to sell my house — he showed up with data from over 2 dozen recent sales in my area and we went over each one individually to ascertain the best asking price. He utilizes a professional staging service and photographers, both of which were effective and efficient — no blurry iphone pics but beautiful, high resolution polished photos of the interior and exterior. I followed the staging professional’s advice, which yes, included spending some money to paint and perform several small upgrades. The end result was that my home sold in less than 3 days on the market for MORE than the already-​high asking price. He followed through again and again, negotiating with the buyer’s agent, helping with closing paperwork, and even provided after-​sale follow-​up. This kind of service is very special and unique in ANY business, and I highly recommend Gilbert for any home purchase, sale or rent in the Austin area.
