AC Express

This is not the kind of company that deserves your business. My heater died during a brief cold spell, so I called them to come take a look. They were able to get it running, but it stopped again a few days later. They came out a second time and told me that the problem was either a control board or a bad valve, which would cost ~$ 1200 to replace. Or, they could install a new system for between $ 1500 and $ 2000. Something felt off about their technician’s explanation, so I had another company come out for a second opinion. Turns out the problem was a $ 50 capacitor that was replaced in ten minutes by a competent technician. Interestingly, the capacitor was not part of the control board and entirely separate from the valve the AC Express technician claimed were bad. So if I had paid them over a thousand dollars to «fix» my system, it still would not be working.
I had paid for a $ 180 two year service agreement with AC Express after the first time they came out, which I wanted to cancel as soon as I learned that they were (either through incompetence or malice) trying to get me to pay for thousands of dollars of unnecessary work. After three calls over two weeks, they finally agreed to refund my money, saying they would send a check in the mail. Two months and multiple calls later, I still haven’t gotten my refund.

Done business with AC Express for several years. Installed new unit and purchased service agreement too. Very prompt to schedule yearly checkups. Techs always call ahead and are on time. A pleasure to do business with. Appreciate the great service

I absolutely love this company. I called. They had a tech at my house in about a hour. They had my heater fixed in 20 minutes. It is so cold outside. I have a six month baby. I needed my heater fixed fast. The fellow that took the call really helped me out. The tech that was at my house explained what was wrong and had the part on his truck. This is the second time I used them. Thank you A/​C Express

WARNING, Stay Away!!! Poor customer service, no communication, and inaccurate ETA’s. Had a problem and talked with the manager. She had no authority, and owner is unavailable for 3 weeks.

Wow ! A true life saver. I called on a Saturday morning, they came out and replaced my 15 year old unit the same day. The guys are such hard workers! I m so lucky to have found AC Express!

Not sure if they just changed their name or its completely new ownership from when they were Autumn Heating and Air, but my last couple of experiences with them were sub-​par at best. They installed both systems new 5 years ago and have come out for regular checks the first few years. However, after the Rheem labor warranty ended, so did their great customer support. This week, they missed their first appointment so I waited 24 hours (with no AC) for them to come out. They came out, diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate. $ 1,110 to replace an A-​coil that is under warranty. Seemed high so I called around. Average estimate from 3 other companies… $ 730, all within $ 20 of each other. I find that very very odd… $ 400 price difference… from the company that I gave over $ 10,000 of my business to when I installed them. Had they just been fair at the time of diagnosis, they’d be replacing the coil right now.

Horrible-we’ve tried 5 times to schedule our groupon tuneup. Each time they can’t seem to find our appointment. Customer service clearly isn’t their priority.

This company is a lifesaver, they got our air conditioner working in such a short time frame. I work a busy schedule and it’s hard to get anything done with it. They worked around my schedule and got out as quick as they could. Friendliest people I’ve ever worked with and I called around to check prices and they were by far the lowest. By miscommon belief people seem to this this is Autumn which is not the case. Way more professional than Autumn and definitely under new different ownership. Would recommend Freddy to do the work!
