I saw a property for rent, saw 4 stars on Unilocal so I told a friend to give them a call. She emailed and called 3 times on different days and they never replied. I guess a preview of how they would be if you ever rent property from them.

i rented a apartment from this guy named joe who works with all bay. one of the worst management ive ever seen. first of all he never picks up his phone. even when he does, hes rude and hangs up middle of the conversation. apartment had so many problems and managements did not take care of it at all… never rent from them. i will never ever again rent to buy anything from all bay property management.

Joe is GREAT!!! We’ve rented with AllBay Prop for 4 years and we’ve received great service with Joe. We had an unfortunate situation when our property got robbed while on vacation and Joe was there to the rescue in minutes. We gave him a call and he took care of everything. If our property owner ever left Joe All Bay Prop, I would move to follow him. He is super nice and makes you feel comfortable and he is very easy going and reliable.

I have rented three properties from All Bay in Castro Valley. For the location they were great prices. I went from a 2 bedroom on Santa Maria to a little house on Proctor then a large 3 bedroom home that I was in for three years near Lake Chabot. He was quick to respond to issues in each property.
He’s a nice guy and works with your credit and we had dogs.

Nasty experience at their open house! The handwritten ghetto sign should have been an indication of how unprofessional the open house would be. There was a woman there holding the open house. First thing she complained about was where I parked, uhhm there weren’t any signs that said «NO PARKING.» Couldn’t answer basic questions such as; roughly how many people live on the complex or are there children on the complex? What a waste of time! Does Joe know that this woman is driving away renters? Ghetto and unprofessional STAY AWAY!

He’s always pleasant and professional, and has ensured that the property is well-​maintained. We receive a detailed monthly statement along with any receipts for work that’s been done. The tenants seem happy — so all is well with the world.
