Sungevity specializes in the design, installation, and maintenance of home solar systems and is proving that going solar is easy, affordable, and a viable way to reduce carbon emissions. Sungevity and its Preferred Installer Network currently serve homeowners throughout CA, NM, AZ, CO, CT, MA, MD, DE, VT, NY and NJ.
Using proprietary remote solar design software, we can build a customized system and deliver a firm quote to a homeowner without need for a time-consuming site visit. This technology, combined with streamlined processing of paperwork and centralized logistics, enables us to save our customers up to 10% on solar.
History
Established in 2007.
Sungevity was founded by a strong team who brought together successful start-up experience, environmental activism, and solar industry leadership. Driven by a passion to spread solar globally, and a frustration with the manual and costly process as it existed in the current cottage industry, Sungevity created a unique online platform to make it easy and affordable for homeowners to research, buy and install solar systems. The company’s early success and growth in the Bay Area and beyond has proven the power of their approach and viability of the platform.
