Gregg was amazing. We were kind of clueless as to what we wanted for new stair rails. He guided us along the way to beautiful stairs. He was very professional, kind, and easy going. He even built a custom baby/​dog gate at the bottom of the stairs. I would post pictures but our carpet is not yet installed. Once that is done Gregg is going to come back and adhere the bottom of the railings to the new carpet. What amazing service! You can tell he loves his job and his craftmanship is top notch.

If you are looking for someone to build your stairs, look no further. Greg is fabulous! We hadn’t even met him when we hired him. But judging by the great reviews and his price, we decided to take a risk. We are so glad we did! The name of his company says it all. He is a craftsman. He was very easy to work with and we love our new stairs. They have changed the whole look of the house.

I can’t say enough good things about Gregg and his company Staircrafter. My wife runs a pre-​school and we had a very short window for new flooring and the stairs to be done over her winter break. Gregg accommodated us with this small window and was working around the flooring contractor and his crew to get this done according to our timetable. On top of his great attitude and attention to detail, he is a wizard with stairs. He turned what was the eye sore of our home when you walk in to the centerpiece of the whole house. The stairs look absolutely amazing and the quality of construction is second to none. I highly recommend Gregg to anyone who is considering upgrading or replacing their stairs in the area.

First off, THANK YOU Gregg for our staircase! I appreciate it everyday and now I enjoy going up and down our staircase. I truly love it!
My husband and I had a staircase that looked like a cage, it was horrendous. We bought a short sale town home a few years back and the «cage» came with it. I wish I had some pics to show you guys a before and after! Our new staircase has glass railings with wooden bannisters as well as carpet on the steps, it’s very lovely. Any who, I found Gregg through Unilocal and even though he didn’t have many reviews I contacted him as well as other contractors and he was by far the kindest, most experienced and professional man. His prices weren’t bad either! We spoke a bit and looked and his website and I knew I had found the right guy. He did a phenomenal job in such an efficient time span! So if you are looking into getting your staircase re-​done then look no more because I am telling you he is the man.

We can’t say enough good things about Gregg and his team from Staircrafter! We had a 90’s style whitewashed oak staircase and cabinets that were painful to see after all our efforts to update our foyer and living room. With Gregg’s help we were able to design a beautiful art nouveau wrought iron and wood design of which we could be proud. Staircrafter delivered on all of their promises of a custom process to make the transformation. With meticulous attention to cleanliness in an inherently messy project, great imagination and then hard detailed work they delivered on all their promises. The process was pain-​free, not the least because of Gregg’s sunny disposition and positive can-​do attitude. The result is a beautiful staircase that exceeded even our high expectations! Kudos to Staircrafter and their whole team!

Staircrafter owner Gregg Kuzara was the most efficent and professional contractor I’ve met in a long time! I had several bids and none came close to the quality and care I received with Staircrafter. Gregg is not only an artist and designed my stair case, but his attention to all the little details was incredible! I never knew so much went into the project. I’d highly recommend Staircrafter if you want the best.

When it comes to contractors, I’ve had some bad experiences so I’m really picky. We had Staircrafter replace an old stairway and install hardwood floors in our house.
Quality: They did a fantastic job with attention to little details. I didn’t even have to give them a punchlist of things to fix, they just took care of everything without asking.
Process: They like to do the whole job, which is great if you don’t want to manage a bunch of subs and you don’t want the headache of overseeing the project. They were right on their timeline (unusual for a major multi-​week project), and they went out of their way to finish the job — including going out and finding/​buying matching door hardware, doors, fixtures, ect. Once you pick what you want, it’s a turnkey process. Daily cleanup and they go above and beyond with everything.
Price: Middle of the road, but the value is fantastic because the quality and process is so good. No up-​charges or gotchas.
People: Super friendly and totally upfront.
Best contractor I’ve ever used.
