Status update: just heard from our server this morning that Scrambl’z has been bought out and will be a new restaurant, «Uncle John’s Pancake House» starting this Wednesday. I’m so sad about this. I was so happy to find a favorite breakfast place near DT Campbell that had a variety of great breakfast dishes, fresh juices, and fantastic customer service. Every time we came to this place, it would always be packed, but finding a seat was never a problem. Now we are getting ANOTHER pancake restaurant?! We already have, «Stacks» around the corner, but their customer service is only ok. Just received our yogurt parfait and my husband noticed it was missing granola. Our server sheepishly smiled and said there was no more granola in stock because of the upcoming change over. I guess they are using up what inventory they have left. So, come here quick before everything is gone. I hope the majority of the staff will stay on to work at the new restaurant.

I have been going to the Scrambl’z on Alamden Expressway, the food quality and service is really good. When I noticed that this location is now open I decided to give it a try and hope there would not be long lines as the other location has. There are several different things happening between the two locations, the first thing I noticed how clean everything is and very healthy picture of pictures, I am guessing since this location is in Campbell they decided to get away from the fun at the other location and make this is healthy location. The other thing you will notice is the menu, does not have everything the other location offers, and most of the item is healthy on the menu here at this location. Which is OK, but that is not what I have come to expected from Scrambl’z. The prices do seam to be a bit higher, but the food quality is good. I staff is what to be expected from this company, they are friendly, helpful and always cleaning the areas as a team. the fresh juicers are a huge plus. I am happy to see Scrambl’z having great success, but for me personally I will stay with the other location I do enjoy the fun and menu there. However do not let this review stop you from giving it a try and making up your own mind. I am giving it a 4 star rating, but only 3 stars for the location itself and 1 additional star for the employees.

I downloaded the Groupon offer of $ 20 for $ 14 and met the Mrs. over for a work break breakfast as we live really close and have gone to both Almaden and Morgan Hill Scramb’z a bunch of times! This is pretty new. I like the long counter, the runners on the bathroom doors,(we love running), the clean machine but Mel’s Dinner sort of feel. But no roof insulation and it was cold in there! the food is only so-so all the way around but I did get a big plate of «poached veggies» with my eggs and it was a lot of volume however the price of everything is high and the new fangle food and feel is not cutting it compared to the old school feel and food in Morgan Hill by a long shot. Place should do ok in the summer but it’s no big deal and it’s got lot’s of competition around here. Guy serving us was a good dude but this place lacks.

Sooo I wanted to eat breakfast/brunch food but had thought about it too late on a weekend to go to the poppin’ places. I saw that there was a Scrambl’z that recently opened near me and thought it’d be good — so many people speak highly of the ones in other areas. Yeah — the other areas may be good, but this one was definitely a swing and a miss. The layout of the restaurant is great and bright and airy, I definitely appreciated that. But the food was so bleck that you could not get me in there again. My boyfriend and I each got the eggs and meat with the two sides, and we both opted for bacon. The eggs were pretty small — they should opt for the larger eggs or give more than two. They were quite generous with bacon which was a good thing, as everything else had such a strange aftertaste that the only way to eat it was to chase each bite with bacon. Needless to say we finished all our bacon and not much of anything else. The couple next to us also left a LOT of food on their table when they left, so I’d say they agreed that the food was subpar. Save your time and money, and go elsewhere. Or try the Scrambl’z Almaden — my brother and his gf say that place is ah-mazing.

I didn’t know they opened up a new location. It’s at the building on Winchester. I’m so glad they have a parking lot behind the building. The inside is way different from the Almaden location, different feel also. I feel like this location is so much more lively and healthy. The walls are covered with happy healthy people who are exercising and experience life, all these inspirational quote too. My boyfriend and I were instantly greeted and were seated at a booth. The waitress was friendly and constantly checked on us. To be honest, looking at the menu, it is a bit different. It is more healthy and there were options for paleo. I didn’t see that at the Almaden location. Also I feel like the prices here are little bit higher??? I could be wrong, the last time I went to Scrambl’z was a month ago and they tend to change up their menu every so often. Food is great here. I got the Bread pudding French Toast. It looks small, but its quite dense and heavy. I really enjoyed the white chocolate syrup on top. The boyfriend got the banana waffles. It came with panfried bananas and whipped cream on top with syrup on the side. The waffle itself was nice and fluffy. Also there’s a 15%perfect off for checking in.

Cliff notes: Scramblz Campbell does not equal Scramblz Almaden! Very disappointed. We used to go to the Almaden location, but now live in Campbell so we’re excited for the new location. The menu is smaller, the portions are WAY smaller, and you get less sides. Almaden: XYZ omelette for $ 14 comes with two sides and toast. Campbell location: same XYZ omelette for $ 14 is served on a small plate(maybe half the volume of food), comes with ONE side, and does NOT include toast. We(wife and I) spent $ 43 and left hungry. This has never happened at the Almaden location. Not worth the money and to top it off the food was mediocre. For example, the cheese on my omelette was fresh out of the bag, not melted at all. My wife’s eggs were so greasy that we rushed her home to use the rest room. We are not happy.

I love Scrambl’z ! This is the newest addition for Jim who owns the Almaden location. From what I hear, Jim is very health conscious and it reflects in his current menu here in Campbell’s. The menu fits the area though. Campbell is a small town who is very health conscious. It has a big farmers market weekly I believe that brings in a big crowds. People do want to eat healthier ! If you are a regular at the Almaden location and are expecting the same menu here, you will be in for a surprise. That may be the biggest negative here. People are expecting the same menu. The menu boasts healthier choices which has a strong following. The biggest changes are: no fried food and no burgers. That means no chicken fried steak and french fries. They don’t have a deep fryer here. They also don’t have hash browns. All in all the menu looked good and there were plenty of choices even for us people not looking to eat particularly healthy ! Lol. There are some nice changes made to the menu by combining some feature items together. My dad liked the crêpe change by having meat in his crêpe, not just fruit. I had the southern scramble that was scrambled eggs, on top of two biscuits, two pieces of turkey sausage patties, then smothered in the same gravy as at the Almaden location. I ordered roasted potatoes as my side. It was very good ! The staff and service were great. I saw a couple familiar faces in the kitchen. The young head chef from Almaden is here running the kitchen in Campbell. He came and talked with us as he recognized us from the Almaden location. The restaurant is small compared to Almaden, but it has atleast 50% more @ the counter eating spots. It is very clean and cozy. There is plenty of parking in the back so don’t feel you have to park on the street in front. There isn’t a lot of curb space. They do have outside dining tables in the front. So, come here with an open mind when it comes to the menu. It’s just a little more health conscience. The food quality and service is phenomenal as always ! I wish Jim luck at this new healthier dining Scrambl’z.

Awesome fresh guilt-free heathy breakfast here. They don’t use microwaves not freezers. I ordered bacon and 2 eggs with two sides(sautéed mushrooms and fresh strawberries and cream). $ 14 The 4 strips of bacon came out nice and crispy perfectly cooked. My boyfriend’s country scramble with a side of veggies was also super tasty. Great service as well, we never saw the bottoms of our mugs. Will definitely be back here again in the future.

Have been here a couple times now and like it overall. I like that the menu gives you a broad range of sides so that you can be as healthy or as sinful as you wish(today I had the fruit plate instead of brioche french toast). I also like the fresh pressed juices(the ginger beet is my fave). Service is quick and friendly. We did have an issue today with our fruit plates though … my brother noticed that his grapes had some mold where the stems had been(after I had already eaten half of mine). I stopped and sure enough, white mold on some of my grapes too. We brought it to staff attention and got new fruit plates with strawberries instead of grapes. I’ll given them the benefit of the doubt on this as I can see how easy it is for the mold thing to happen and not be caught. The ‘greens’ scramble is awesome — filled with kale, asparagus, etc.

While the décor of the restaurant was a bit cold and looks more like a gym(yellow, gray, and in-your-face inspirational phrases on lifestyle pictures all around), food was solidly good. There are a good selection of fresh juice and juice blend choices. My grape fruit juice with mint was extremely refreshing. My corned beef hash with fried eggs was probably the best I had in a restaurant. See the picture I posted. Hash was light and crispy. My sunny side up eggs were perfectly fried with brown edges.

The menu tries to be trendy, but ends up being confusing, took way to long for us to figure out how to order eggs, potatoes, and pancakes. And there was no good option for this classic American breakfast without meat(the manager suggested ordering everything as sides). The pancakes were a little rubbery, and the corned beef hash had so much rosemary that it overpowered all the other flavor in the dish. By the way, they don’t do hash browns just roasted potatoes. That would be fine except they came out oily and the big chunks were raw. Fortunately we had a coupon, otherwise breakfast for two would have been $ 28. Not worth it for the quality of food.

Very disappointing. This location CANNOT be compared to the Almaden location. We came during the week, around 10am. There was no wait, however the service was slow, especially waiting to receive our check. That’s not even the bad part. Both coffee mugs arrived dirty, showing lipstick.YUCK. My husband order the biscuits and gravy. It was topped with turkey sausage that was still PINK. My son’s grilled cheese was barely brown. Did they toast it instead? Some how the cheese was melted? The menus were never removed from our table, and that’s a problem when you’ve got a full table. I regret wasting my Groupon on this location. We’ll drive the extra distance to the Almaden restaurant.

I came here with my friends before they left for SoCal and got the smoked salmon benedict. We had no wait at 11:00AM and the wait staff was friendly! The atmosphere was very laid back and it reminded me of a very vibrant diner. Back to the food, there was only 1 tiny piece of smoked salmon and it didn’t taste smoky. It seemed like it was just a thin slice of cooked salmon so that was a huge disappointment for me. The egg however was cooked perfectly, soft boiled and runny. The hollandaise sauce didn’t really have much flavor either. I don’t think I’ll be back, it didn’t seem worth it for $ 14.

Been going every Sunday for months now. Always a great experience. Servers are peppy, receptive to requests and critique. Manager is friendly. Always remembers us and always takes a moment to check in and say hi. Coffee is way above typical«breakfast joint» standards.

Don’t know if I’m just being picky or I like my own breakfast better then most of these breakfast place I been going to lately. It was a ok breakfast but I expected it to be more, I order the gilroy Thats what I think it was called, it was scrambled, sausage, garlic and green peppers, and potatoes on the side that had sour cream and cheese in them they where just ok too. I’m willing to try this place again one day and see if it was just me that didn’t know how to order off the menu.

I REALLY wanted to love this place. Living on the cusp of Campbell, we have an abundance of breakfast spots to choose from. My daughter and I were going to deep clean the house this particular Saturday so we needed a good solid breakfast to get us going. I suggested Scrambles since we hadn’t tried it yet and I liked the idea of a healthier alternative. Parking is limited so say a quick prayer before entering the small lot in the back. We lucked out and found one right away. They have a few tables outside but we opted for a seat at the very very VERY long counter. Customer service is spot on here. From the host, to the server and even up to management, we were well taken care of. Let me just say that I love all the unique menu items. Their claim to fame is that everything is fresh and they don’t fry anything. Awesome. My daughter and I decided to order and share so we could try two entrees. I ordered the biscuit scramble and she ordered the berry crepes. Biscuit Scramble: my daughter isn’t a fan of gravy so I asked for it on the side. Eggs were cooked nicely, biscuit was pretty good. Held together nicely when dunked in my bowl of gravy. Speaking of gravy, it was«okay». I put s heavy dose of pepper on it and it seemed to bring it to life. The turkey sausage was a disappointment. My patties were dry. I think if the sausage was crumpled into the gravy, it would have been better. I shared this with my daughter and she felt the same although she tried the gravy and liked it. There might be hope for her yet! Roasted potatoes: boring. Lacked any real flavor however I enjoyed what I think was homemade catchup. Berry Crepes: the crêpe itself was good but the marscapone or whatever the scoop of white stuff was on top was just weird. Neither of us liked it at all. Overall I think it’s s cute place with excellent customer service and unique menu. Portions are smaller than most places which is good cuz we all don’t need to be chunky monkeys but the prices are a tad high. Our choices weren’t fantastic but we’ll come again and try something different next time.

SOOOOO much different than the chaos at the Almaden one. A lot smaller(it’s in a new strip mall on Winchester), but still so yummy! The décor advertises more healthy which is interesting and in somewhat contrast to the Almaden one. It’s bright and cozy. The outdoor«seating» in the parking lot backend is ok; if you want to sit around cars and waiting patrons. The long bar is really nice and the separate juice counter is off to the side. The entrance cracks me up. It’s actually in the back(parking lot) vs. the front which faces Winchester. Kind of an odd design flaw. Bathrooms(single) are also near the exit on the Winchester side. The food was super yummy and quick. Pricing high, but it’s Campbell, so go figure. I liked our waitress who was friendly. Our wait on a Sunday was only about 10 min. Surprisingly quick. The angry potatoes are a must! The garlic in them is SO good! I had the bacon burrito with egg whites. It was perfectly filling(slightly over priced), but still good. I think the Almaden one has a bigger menu(based on memory) and caters to tourists, families, people who want to EAT, etc. The Campbell one is trying the healthier route and much brighter.

7:45 on a Saturday morning is empty. At 8 the place really fills up. Most dishes you can add a side or two. There is a list of many sides on the bottom of the menu to choose from. The angry potatoes are flavorful and I suggest getting those over the cheesy grits. The cheese grits were flavorless cream of wheat and I don’t recommend them. The positives were the main breakfast dishes. The house made turkey sausage is yummy. The country scramble was my favorite. I loved the combination of bacon, tomatoes, green peppers, feta, and caramelized onions. It was great! Overall, a great breakfast place in the area. The service was good and they get your food served pretty quickly. I would like to come back and try their juices the next time I stop by.

I am pretty bummed to not give 4 stars, but I really just cannot. This is for the food specifically and the disappointment that this isn’t at all Scrambl’z as we know it on Almaden Exwpy. Now, I am all for change and for different foods and different pathways, and its clear from the décor and the menu straight away that this Scrambl’z location is really trying to cater to a health conscious way… but gimme my scrambl’z too! I mean, even the angry potatoes were not at all like the other location :( We came super early on a weekend morning, almost right after they had opened so we got seated immediately and the service was very good. I ordered a veggie breakfast burrito with a side of banana bread and a side of fruit too for the baby. My husband ordered the victors scramble with the angry potatoes. So…first off, the veggie breakfast burrito was supposed to come with Feta cheese, and it came with cheddar. The burrito without the salsa has zero flavor at all. You cannot eat it without just eating bland nothing. I still fail to see why its hard to get a burrito in this town that you can eat without needing to drench in salsa for flavor.(PLEASESOMEONE make eggs with garlic, some kind of onion and cilantro IN the egg mix… add some pico de gallo INTHEBURRITO, add some onions and peppers in the potatoes… even just a little but all combined would be freakin’ AMAZING… why the heck would you rely on a salsa to carry your food??) It was a decent size, but boring as all hell. The banana bread was two tiny little slices and just ok. Not very moist or dense or anything really to make me forget that its two tiny little slices. Without butter, most definitely dry and over baked. The angry potatoes. Sigh. Sadness. They forgot the garlic, and the jalapenos aren’t those cute little pickled ones, they tried some other kind of fancy strip cut thing that just changed the flavor so substantially I just can’t order these at this location. My husband was unimpressed with the victors scramble, again it was a flavor problem. Just not enough ooomph to carry the entire meal. He was also disappointed in the angry potatoes. We also ordered the quencher juice that was good. I think I’d go again, but I’d go with adjusted expectations completely. If I am craving«Scrambl’z» its not going to be that I arrive at this location with that craving and hungry belly. Its a bummer too, because this location is so much closer to my house. I know they care, but its a rough transition for a fan of this brand of restaurants, and if you think you will get the same experience please switch gears immediately before you go.

Great way to start my day. Brought the family to try out the new Scrambl’z on Winchester. It is a really clean, hip design and layout. I had the classic Benedict with angry potatoes as a side. Food was delicious!!! Homemade ketchup was nothing like I tasted before. The servers were attentive to us the entire time. Portion sizes are perfect. They have a juice bar and loose leaf tea which made my family happy. Try it out, you’ll be hooked as I am.
