Fantastic. There are so many teas to choose from, and the prices are reasonable. I appreciate that you can smell all the types of tea and that you’re not limited to any particular type. Way better than someplace like Teavana! A friend and I had iced tea and a lovely conversation on the comfy couch. Great spot, would highly recommend!

Such an awesome tea shop in downtown Campbell. Julie literally knows everything about tea. I love that you can walk in and sniff all of the different kinds of tea she has before you decide what you want to get. You can either buy tea to go, or get a cup made (hot or cold) there. Highly recommend!

Amazing selection – was at the farmer’s market and wasn’t excited to buy a cup of something packaged… wandered across the street and saw this awesome place! They make individual cups! They also have a build-​a-​tea station I’ll come back for. A+

What a gem!
If you want to enjoy a great cup of tea and learn a little something about tea, this place is fantastic. My daughter and I love to stop in here and smell the new teas and have a cup while we are shopping. The owner is a very sweet lady and we have had nothing but great experiences here.

This tea shop has a tremendous variety of teas ranging from green to black to white to everything in between! We had a great time smelling and blending and their prices are very very reasonable. Julie is very warm and welcoming. She is very knowledgable in an unpretentious way. I will be back with more time to try out the herbal spinner!

Great tea shop in downtown Campbell. It’s packed wall to wall with all types of teas from across the globe. They also serve tea there (Hot or Iced) if you want to hang out for a bit or grab something for the road. The owner is often there and ready to lend a helping hand or answer any questions – especially if you’re a tea newbie like myself.

What a delight indeed. We were strolling in beautiful downtown Campbell and were fed up with the same old same old Starbucks. We saw steepers and we came in for a cup of tea. We not only had fantastic cups of Versailles lavender Earl grey and «on the waterfront» but also learned a lot about Tea’s from Julie. Thank you we indeed had a delightful experience at steepers

The lady who owns Steepers is so nice and kind! I looked at her recipe book for tea and I picked Mothers Milk Tea. She let me make it with her herbs on the wall, and when I tried it… Paradise! Her lemonade is great and organic. You should definitely get all of your tea here. There are very creative types of tea she made, like Gumball!
Only one person is working there so don’t give her a bad review if she didn’t serve in time she is trying her best to make her tea world wonderful! I hope you love this tea as much as I do!

This review is for the loose leaf tea products only. In a word: fabulous! Steepers has an enormous selection of all tea varieties — black, white, green — as well as rooibos, honeybush, herbals and other infusables. All loose leaf teas, including custom blends, are available in small glass sample jars, so you can see and smell every product before you buy. Masala Chai and Bourbon Street Vanilla were standout blends for me. Don’t see an herbal blend that you like? Make your own at the blending table, where ingredients from anise seed to verbena are available for your choosing.
I came in looking for an oolong and there were several good quality imports to select from. I was lucky enough to snag the last packet of Quangzhou Milk Oolong. I made a pot as soon as I got home and the soft notes of caramel and milk that scent the unbrewed leaves are present in the brewed tea as well, over a solid foundation of clean mountain greenery that makes oolong one of my favorite varieties. I usually take two sugars in tea, but this Milk Oolong is terrific «black», with its own natural sweetness.
While not cheap by supermarket standards, I expected to pay twice as much as what I ended up paying for this kind of quality and selection. Plus the convenience of having samples to browse makes Steepers a better deal than ordering from the big online suppliers, like Art of Tea or Amazon.
If you are looking for loose leaf tea or the perfect herbal blend in the South Bay, Steepers is the place to go.

I visited the store today hoping to find Thai Tea. I read all your great reviews on Unilocal but must say I was beyond disappointed about your customer service.
Upon entering your store I was not greeted. Your sales representative or owner was to busy in an off topic conversation with a customer that already finished shopping.
It was apparent that I was lost with all the overwhelming selection and waited several minutes to get your representatives attention that continued her conversation.
I finally got her attention and as soon as I asked my question I was left as the phone rang with no answer.
My second attempt to get information on the teas was interrupted as new customers entered the store, which were happily greeted and received immediate attention. Their questions were answered, she even went as far to offer to open jars to let them smell the teas while I was still standing in the store with two bags in my hand without my questions being answered.
Needless to say — the treatment left me with a bitter taste in my mouth and I returned the wanted items to the shelves and walked out. I will not recommend your place to any of my tea lovers not return to your place of business.

I had never been into this cute shop before, even though I have been down this street many times. I was looking for a tea place that sold individual tea in order for me to use as party favors for a baby shower. This small place has lots to choose from, buy, and sniff. The manager was extremely helpful in telling me about all the different teas, and the differences between, black, grey, and green. I like tea but I’m not as familiar with it. She sells loose tea in bags that make about 20 or so individual servings. I needed 1 serving to go into a favor box for my friend’s baby shower. The shower was at a tea room for high tea. Even though she does not sell individual bags, she accommodated me by allowing me to purchase a bag of loose tea. She then scooped out 12 individual helping and placed them into 12 individual filter bags and sealed each of them. It made for a perfect gift! Each individual filtered bag of tea fit perfectly in the favor box I bought and went perfectly with the theme of the shower. I hope the ladies liked them as much as I did.
Thank you so much for taking the time with me to explain everything and being creative by helping me make it work for the little boxes. I have made this tea at home and it is delicious. Also, while I was in the store, I bought a fresh iced tea to drink. She had several flavors but suggested I mix two. It was also very delicious. Go there if you like tea! There is even a little place to sit and drink your tea along with individual timers to know exactly how long to perfectly steep your tea. Thank you! I will send more people your way.

This is personally one of my favorite tea shops to be a regular at. She has a wide variety of teas, dried fruits and herbs, not lacking in quality. I first stopped in a year or so ago looking for lavender buds for a recipe. I had already made my rounds at Whole Foods and other health stores and it was ridiculously overpriced for the amount you got, not to mention they were dried so that they were brown and lacking in scent and flavor.
Imagine my surprise when I walk in to this lovely shop and find a 2 oz bag of beautiful lavender buds for a very fair price. I quickly fell in love with this shop simply by exploring her tea blends (you even can blend your own teas!) and tea things. She even carries dried stevia leaves!
She is very knowledgeable about high quality teas and readily answers all my questions. My favorite teas there have been the Lady Lavender Earl Grey, the Sweet Watermelon Oolong and her Matcha Green Tea Latte is to DIE for with a bit of nutmeg sprinkled on top. I find the teas are so delicious, there isn’t much of a need to even sweeten!
You will love this little shop! :)

Fantastic selection of loose teas and they will brew a cup of almost all of them too.

Definitely a fan of tea so this was on my radar to visit. Now the tea quality here is actually pretty good but I would prefer to purchase from other tea companies I have sampled from. The drinks I ordered included a hot Genmaicha green tea and an iced peach nirvana tea. Both of these are not sweet but they have sweeteners on the side if you choose to add some. Now the people behind the counter are friendly and nice but they seem flustered so it gives me a wrongful impression that they may not be the right people for running the shop. It is not an issue as confidence comes with time and also as long as they do their job properly there is no complains from me. I do however do not prefer to come back only because I believe I can prepare a better drink with the tea I have at home and would prefer to purchase tea leaves from other high quality competitor tea providers.

The best place in the South Bay, not only to buy tea, but to get some education about the tea world and the myriads of combinations and pure forms you can get from this planet. They show a amazing array on display and just opening those jars to smell the content can transport you to an exotic trip minus the fare cost and the hassle. Loved everything on store, the clarity, the light, the displays, the fact you can touch, smell, sit there and not be bothered by anyone in case you decide not to get your drink).

I saw reviews for Steepers pop up on my Unilocal feed, so I figured: Hey, I’m in Campbell; I like tea; I’ll stop in!
You are certainly not at a lack of choice here. So many wonderful flavors and scents, and you can give them a «sniff» at the racks towards the front of the store. I decided to pick up a bag of the raspberry-​green, and had a «lemonade iced tea» to go. The iced tea was very refreshing, and I swear that, as I walked down the street, another woman with a similar cup in her hand yelled «STEEEEEPEEERS!» as she passed. Like we were part of the same tea-​drinking tribe.
As a tea-​drinker, I was fascinated by the shop. And you will be too!

I was walking around downtown when the Steepers sign caught my attention. It read, «Sweet Watermelon Oolong is back!»… that sounded so refreshing on a warm day. My girlfriend and I were planning to get milktea originally but decided to give this place a try. I’m glad we did. As you walk in, there’s a display wall of the teas available (50+ to try from). Open up the jars up and take a good whiff. A total «smell-​o-​vision» experience — that’s how I decided on which tea to get. All the teas were very fragrant. I ended up getting the sweet watermelon oolong and my girlfriend got the rose château Patricia. Each drink was made to order. There’s a little customization bar with different sweetners, lemons, etc. for those who want to add a little something to their tea. Needless to say, we were both happy with our choices without the add-​ons.
The owner was nice but because there were a lot of customers at the time, she couldn’t give everyone individualized attention/​help.
I would definitely come back to try some more.

I’m a big fan of Julie and Steepers! Don’t let her accent fool you, she’s very sweet, approachable and knowledgeable. We purchased a variety of teas including one of my favorites «Organic Kyoto Cherry Rose», and Julie was nice enough to let us try some sample teas and a very yummy lemonade. If your new to tea, her shop carries teas in jars to waft and you can always ask for a sample. Her shop is located in a nice part of downtown Campbell, with a few seats inside to let your tea cool and have a chat with a friend.

I distinctly remember watching The Real World Seattle circa 1998 and more specifically the episode where Janet breaks down her budget/​daily allowance (which, if memory serves me correctly was like $ 12 – 15 with some fudged math) and quickly realizes that she’s going to need to choose between her daily coffee, cigarette, or food habit in order to make it through the season.
I remember this because even though I wasn’t old enough to have a job or live on my own, I just knew that seeing Janet’s budget issues (bad math and all) would be like taking a glimpse into my future (minus the cigarette habit) and Sophie’s Choice-​ing between life’s little luxuries to get by. Food or beverage? The constant struggle of those with an imaginary disposable income.
On any other day I’d be food-​choosing. Hands down. It’s my favorite thing and for the most part, there’s no beverage in existence that comes close to being as satisfying and gratifying… except for the Watermelon Oolong Tea at Steepers. Y U gotta be so good!!!
Being in the neighborhood of Steepers today and trying to decide on something in the way of sustenance when I walked by and saw the sign out front noting that they had the Watermelon Oolong back in stock. I remembered my last trip to Steepers and falling in love with the Jolly Rancher-​esque scent of the loose leaf tea, and then turning to see that the girl next to me had just nabbed the last bag in stock. Womp, womp.
I left empty handed that evening after doing a brief tasting but made note to accost (in the most socially acceptable way possible) the lovely lady who bought the tea about how she was going to drink it (hot/​cold, with sweetener/​without) to try and get at least a mental contact high since I wouldn’t be going home to enjoy it.
I regret not getting a big bag of the tea to take home with me, but in all the excitement from seeing they had the tea in stock I guess I just got carried away and simply ordered a large iced watermelon oolong tea to go. It was perfect. More than perfect. More than worth the $ 3.75 that I would have otherwise put towards lunch and more than filled me up with it’s robust flavor or sweet but somehow not at all sweet watermelon Jolly Rancher flavor.
I’ll be in the area next week and can only hope they have more of that watermelon crack tea to take home so I can substitute it for the calories I normally consume from eating a whole jar of Tostitos brand melty cheese and clearance soft pretzels from the local market.

Whole foods (I swear my mind played a trick on me into thinking they sold it presently — no longer!) or any grocery store, come here to steepers!!!
They have a great selection of black, white, rooibos, green teas! Mmmm, my gentleman is quite the tea drinker these days so I decided to treat him to high quality teas. I went for the black and red teas — monk’s blend and bourbon vanilla rooibos. Mmmm!
The shop has been open for a little over a year and I’ll be sure to come back for more!

I’ve been a fan of tea for a long time — and not the bagged crap, I’m talking the loose leaf. In fact an ex-​girlfriend got me a tea press for my birthday one year. In the past I would load up on the overpriced and confusing amounts offered at places like Teavana and David’s Teas until you drank so much of it you couldn’t take it any more and now the overpriced tin is collecting dust.
Well I don’t have to worry about that anymore, thanks to Steepers:
–independently owned
–pre-​packaged 2 oz bags
–with price already on the bag
–you can smell any of the teas you want without being serviced
–very relaxed atmosphere; you aren’t getting the high pressure to drop $ 100
–varied selection of colors and flavors
We attended a UYE hosted by Janet (whose checkin I can’t find anymore) that included an Earl Grey sampling, some cookies, and went to town. I ended up getting two things I very much wanted: a flavored lichee black tea for the afternoons, and a light green White Monkey Paw for the evenings. Both have been great to have during the week.
So as I run out of my current early grey, I will be heading back.

We actually stumbled upon this place while we were strolling down the street for the Sunday’s Farmers’ Market. It’s a cute little spot with a extensive variety of teas. I’ve always been a simple tea person, but I’m starting to broaden my choices of tea. Because there were so many to chose from, I just kind of chose what I was in the mood for.
It was a nice warm day so I chose the strawberry hibiscus, I believe that’s what it was called. The tea leaves are fresh so it’s steep as you order. I had it over ice and it was just a perfect balance, I didn’t have to add sugar, it was absolutely refreshing.
Staff is very friendly and you get a nice warm welcome coming in. We sat down for a bit while waiting for our order. It does take a little bit longer because everything is made to order, so be patient, it’s worth the wait.

Wow! Upon walking in and being led to a wall of tea in small aluminum canisters I immediately fell in love Steepers.
The wall of tea was a wall of discoveries. You can open the little cans and smell away. Let your nose lead the way.
This is such a unique store. Not only you can buy your tea here but you can stay and enjoy them too. There’s two tall window tables with high chairs to enjoy them. A bar with a few stools if you want to interact with Julie the very affable owner herself. She runs the place herself. This is her dream project. From designing the carousel itself where you can pick the Roiboos variety of teas to where the accoutrements to make some great teas were on display.
Two lovely love seats are situated back to back. Comfortable enough for a tet a tet with your dear friend.
So if you feel like indulging in some tea and catching up with a friend without dressing up and wearing a hat, then come meet Julie who’s all English and super knowledgeable about her field. Besides, the English does tea well the best!

I found Julie when I was looking for custom made gifts for my employer but I ended up rediscovering my love for tea. First off, I found a few great wares that are plain adorable from the manatee steeper to the teapots.
I am constantly amazed at how quickly my cup of tea gets cold and Julie has the cup warmer that fits perfectly on my desk. Next, I am more of a spicy tea drinker and I can make my own Cinnamon and cardamon blend with just a hint of orange peel and ginger! The ability to make your own tea is quite the find.
Next, are you noticing you start to cringe at the whirl of the coffee grinder and maybe you are tired of the incessant children clamoring for their mothers attention? Yes! Julie’s shop is an oasis of respite in the frantic world outside. You can sit down drink a cup of tea conveniently and without bother of clanks and bangs.
If you are hunting for Earl Grey tea that is robust and authentic you will find that tea here along with other standby but, fair warning you may find a few new ones too!

It took me months to finally stop in here, but am I sure glad I did! The owner is a lovely person, and very helpful and informative on the tea varieties. The shop is in a great location, just across from orchard valley coffee too.
I loved that she offers a pre-​steeped selection for iced tea, but if you want to try a different blend, she will make a cup of whatever tea you choose!
Also, she does not taint any tea she makes with sweeteners of any kind, she leaves you to taste it and add any sweeteners yourself after you try it first!
I will be coming back here, great environment, and nice, mellow vibe to enjoy a great tea and get some work done!
