Excellent Doctor and great staff!

Dr. Dally is awesome! He takes his time, explain everything in details. I been going to him for last few years and been really happy with the whole experience. The office staff are very friendly as well! Just referred couple of my family members to him and they also were very happy!

Switching medical professionals can always be nerve wrecking — luckily, someone recommended Dr. Dally after an emergency trip to see him. I walked in on a whim after visiting a customer of mine downstairs in the same building. The minute I walked in, the practice felt warm and welcoming. It is clean, organized, a lot of frames to choose from and the front desk staff was very professional. Side note: I left my last Optometrist because his office staff kept declining in customer service, attitude and helpfulness. My appointment was thorough, professional, and made me feel anxiety free! Dr. Dally did a fantastic job of explaining my eye health, the various tests performed and made me feel 100% comfortable the entire time. Overall, the entire process of testing, picking out new frames and meeting the entire office was wonderful! I’ve already told a handful of people about Dr. Dally and his staff and will continue doing so because great practices deserve to be recognized!

Our family has been with Dr. Dally for over 20 years. He is an excellent optometrist; patient, kind, knowledgeable, everything you would want in a health care provider.

Been seeing Dr. Dally for about 15 yrs now after seeing a few others i was not happy with. I think he is one of those rare finds where you you are in extremely capable hands, will not BS you but still personable.

Dr. Dally and his staff have been fantastic for both me and my wife’s eyeglass needs since we moved here a few years ago. I just went in for a checkup, expecting to get a new pair of progressive glasses. But Dr. Dally showed me how little that would improve my vision, and suggested that I get computer glasses instead. What a great improvement, at about half the cost of what I was ready to pay! His interest is in the best solution for the patient, not selling the most expensive alternative!

Best eye care experience hands down! I was completely impressed with the beautiful, clean office and super friendly staff already, but after meeting and interacting with Dr. Dally, I was sold! He is so genuinely kind, informative, and laid-​back. I really appreciated how he treated my daughter as well (which they were able to see us both at the same time) he made her feel comfortable especially since he knew it was her first eye exam. He was very attentive and fully explained everything to us. He also didn’t try to up-​sell us anything and was completely honest about our needs. The icing on the cake, as if we needed more, was Bella, the hardest working, and hairiest employee. She came to visit during our short wait and we even got the tour of her sleeping quarters. All in all, I felt so comfortable and couldn’t be happier with the care and service we received. Im so thankful to have found this place!

My visit to Dally today was amazing! I even got to compare my current prescription to my new one, and the difference was pretty crazy. The staff was very patient and nice. I wasn’t the best customer and was unsure about my insurance. So the front desk manager went through the trouble of calling my insurance company and checking my coverage. Unfortunately, my insurance does not cover visual care, but the appointment fee ended up being fair, so it didn’t matter.
When Dr. Dally called me in, he was very friendly and conversed with me. The examination was quick and effortless, and Dr. Dally talked me through each test thoroughly. In the end, Dr. Dally told me I had awesome eyes and shook my hand goodbye. All in all, this was an amazing experience and I’m sending all of my friends to Dr. Dally.

I had an eye emergency where I found my eye so irritated I could not stop blinking and my eye was leaking tears in a stream. Dr. Dally fit me in within 10 minutes of my arrival and I was amazed at what a great experience it was to see him. He was professional, friendly and proficient at his skill.
Within a minute he had placed anesthetic and I was completely out of pain. He identified that I had a piece of something lodged under my eyelid and he removed it quickly and painlessly. He also agreed to see me before his regular patient schedule the next day to follow up with me and make sure I was okay. How many doctors would do that?!? I will not only return to him in the future, but I will recommend him to everyone I know for the rest of time.

Today was my first visit to Dr Dally. Excellent service. I went for a second opinion because by PCP diagnosed be with something that was creating a concern for me.
Dr. Dally not only thoroughly examined me and reassured me that I did not have any thing I should be worried about, but also gave me some samples. He has this very pleasant personality and very knowledgeable. The front staff was okay. Amanda helped me with insurance and co payment.
I would recommend any one looking for a eye doctor Dr. Dally. Although this is my first time, I have already become his fan!

It is always interesting to read negative reviews of places you love as much as I do Bay View Eye Care Center. I suppose if you try hard enough to make up in your own mind what other people are thinking and twist around innocent things, you can find a way to give anyone a bad review. As a reasonable, level-​headed, mature adult, I can say this place is great and you would be hard pressed to find a better group of people to take care of you.

The staff here is great. I’ve been coming here for several years. They keep a great inventory of frames. Prices from easy on the wallet to ‘oh hell, my mom can pay for these’… yeah. Love the place.

New to Bay View; thru Unilocal comments. Absolutely satisfied in all dealings with them. Dr. Dally personally introduced himself to me right away; all the staff are great also.
I thought the charges for the services I received were excellent. Easy to find; easy to park. Dr. Dally explains things clearly & in terms you can understand; not in «doctoreez». I learned alot. I am totally happy with Bay View Eye Care & am glad to be a patient for hopefully many, many years! Thanks Bay View! Save yourself the stress; see these guys first!

Well, I have to say, Dr. Dally is pretty good. My complaint is about the horrible, snipey receptionists there.
As soon as my daughter and I walked in for our appointment today, the younger receptionist, Amanda, started glancing over at the older receptionist woman, Celeste, sitting next to her at the front desk. Then she’d look up, then back again, staring at the older woman for a time, as if to say, «Oh! They they are, see I told you about them!» It seemed like she was trying to get an eye roll or some kind of silent, non-​verbal reaction out of the other woman. Well, I can read non-​verbal body language too, so, HELLO?! Don’t be so stupid as to do that as I stand there in front of you! Are you that naïve, hello? I’m standing right there watching you do it!
She did this back and forth look at the other receptionist probably 5 times, so it was pretty obvious!
If you are going to be snipey, wait until my daughter and I go into a room, and snipe in private!
Betcha I know what it was all about too. When I had called to make our appointment, I asked the younger receptionist, Amanda, to send me my daughters’ new patient paperwork in the mail. I like to fill it out at home and simply bring it in with us so I don’t waste time during our appointment doing paperwork and and looking shit up. Easy, right? She even argued with me on the phone how I could just do it in the office when I got there. So what. I don’t prefer to. I like to fill all that out at home beforehand when I have time.
The older receptionist, Celeste, also later kept trying to get «her» cheap 10 cent Bic pen back when I was using it to write down several appointment times at the front desk. She even once muttered something about «…get my pen back». Geez, then put pens out for the customers to use at the front desk! Duh!
You’d think with the close to $ 800 we spent on exam, lens, and glasses today, they’d be able to have BETTER customer service from the receptionists and afford to leave some freaking pens out for customers, right?!
The receptionists at this place either don’t get paid enough to give a damn about their unprofessional behavior, or, worse yet, don’t even know any better.
Shame on this place having such poor-​behaving receptionists.
I’d recommend you find another Optometrist business than this one.

Both my wife and I have been seeing Dr Dally for over 15 years and we’ve been incredibly happy. The care is excellent, everyone is friendly and attentive. I wish everyone in health care was half this good. Recommended without reservation.

As a patient of Dr. Dally’s for over 20 years, I have tremendous respect and appreciation for his work. I have severe astigmatism in one eye. Through his diligent and patient approach he made it possible for me to see binocularly for the first time in my life, via contact lenses.
He is not the cheapest optometrist in the Valley, so if that’s what you are looking for don’t come here.
If you want to work with a consummate, technical professional with a sense of humor with whom you can trust your vision for a lifetime, I cannot recommend him more highly.
