They destroyed the street in front of our house. They put ten foot long two inch wide gouges in the pavement and their driver not only refused to acknowledge the damage but gave me shit for mentioning it. They are thugs. STAY AWAY from JD Hauling Services!

I just received a message from a person whose husband is the driver company use. She basically told me I was such a liar and it’s my husband’s fault for not counting how many boxes we’ve used. It’s their job to track and he professional about it. We even paid that driver $ 100 tip so he could come out to pick up one of the boxes. He came to pick up because he was getting $ 100 tip. This company is such a joke – !!! We are taking this to the court. They are so unorganized-​!! Go somewhere else seriously-​! Their reviews speak for themselves – !!

I have rented 5 10 yard boxes from these guys over the last 6 months for clean dirt removal. The good: lowest prices, 10 day rentals, friendly drivers, short lead times for P/​U or delivery. The bad: brought and charged me for a ten yard box today, but delivered an 8 yard box; a month ago I ordered a 10 yd box for hand loading dirt after a long discussion with Rene’ about how I would prefer low sidewalls, etc, and they brought a box with a bar over the loading door making hand loading impossible … they then charged me another $ 125 to exchange the box for one I could load by hand. Most of the boxes have been in pretty bad shape. When a company employee makes a mistake, they should owe up to it, or be prepared to lose a customer. I have since found competitive pricing elsewhere and intend to try a different company in the future.

On time. On budget. Great attitude. Who could ask for more? It’s a trash dumpster, folks!

As a contractor I need services that delivers as promises and these did. They were able to get rid of 40cuyds of dirt and concrete and a reasonable rate within 2 days. I will be using them again.

HORRIBLE!!! I wish zero stars was an option. I work for a construction company and have made the mistake of using them 3 times. Even though their pricing may seem competitive their lack of customer service does not make up for it and when they show up unannounced and the box can’t be removed their $ 120 delivery fee will price the box as the same as waste management.
None of the times did they deliver during their time frames, which by the way is 1 – 4 business days.
They start their routes at 6am which is ludacris because they don’t start answering phones until 7am so we don’t know when we get our boxes until they’re on site.
I made it perfectly clear that the only place the boxes fit is in the way by equipment during work hours 7−3pm. I practically begged them to do drop off before or after, just that simple. I was told that was not going to be a problem all 3 times and the most recent time it didn’t arrive until 9:30am!!! I was told they don’t know when their drivers will be on our route, that they can only give us a 30 min window.
I don’t understand how they’re in business. They have horrible hours, lack of accountability and no organization skills.
You’re better off walking to the nearest dump site than waiting for these bozos to pick up your box. You’ll be done faster, that’s for sure.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE customer service. Did not deliver on the day that was scheduled, did not receive a courtesy call, and once finally delivered did not place the hauling box on the driveway as requested. Called for a pick up of the hauling box and was assured box will be picked up within 4 days, 9 days later the box is still not picked up. At this point I am dealing with code enforcement and penalties. JD Hauling services is charging me full fees and will not help me as a customer to resolve issues I am incurring directly as a result of their lack of professionalism. I asked for Joe the owner and was told I could NEVER get a hold of him. WILL NEVER WORK WITH THEM AGAIN! Very disappointing!

I used JD Services for the first time and will never use them again. They were terrible from dropping off the dumpster to picking it up. They Scheduled to drop it off and ended up dropping it off the next day after me constantly calling and following up. I had to do the same with having them pick it up. I called to have it picked up and they let me know it may take up to 4 days. Here I am on day 5 with the dumpster in front of the house still. Also I requested it be dropped on my driveway and they dropped it off on the street. I didnt expect such horrible service, as a re modeler I shall take my services else were and would recommend everyone else to do the same. I am every organized and have a set schedule in which I am on a time crunch I dont have time for these things. It is a very simple job, drop off and pick up. I have enough people to micro manage and dont need simple services holding us back from moving forward. I had guys waiting that day scheduled to clean up that job site yet no one showed. Very disappointing and frustrating.

My delivery day was set for Monday. You would think they would get there early in the morning but NO they didn’t show up until 5:30 PM to deliver the dumpster. Ill stick with Waste Management.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. I would never use them again. They delivered the debris box on time but after that everything has been a nightmare. I have called repeatedly and emailed and sent pictures of the damage done to my property. The owner, Joe is very slippery and when I finally got him on the phone he did nothing to try to fix the damage.
I see others have had the same bad experience and gave only one star. I plan to call the Better business Bureau and I suggest others do the same… I really wish I had read these reviews first.

This is the ONLY hauling company for my family. Their customer service is friendly and helpful. Best of all, they’re the most reasonably priced hauling service around.
That being said, I suppose it depends on your personality/​standards as far as wait times go. If you’re willing to be patient, and want an affordable, reliable hauling company, I highly recommend JD Hauling.

Incredible bad service! Stay away from JD Hauling! The delivery of the debris box is fast, but need to wait over one week (and more) for pick-​up. Making call everyday but no answer for the pick-​up time. The lady answered the phone always said that they were backed up and tried to do their best, but never did. Just stay away from them!!!

This may be the the best advise you may ever recieve. Stay away from this company! The owner «Joe» can care less about the service that you may or may not recieve. They can not get dumpster to you in a timely manner. A driver also tipped a dumpster over. Please do yourself a favor and don’t use this company. I wish I seen the reviews on Unilocal before I started our project

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a company. They can get you the dumpster delivered and youll pay extra fees for weight, but they left it sit there for a week after I called them to pick it up. It took at least 10 (threatening) phone calls before someone showed up and said they have six hundred dump bins ut only 15 trucks and nine were down with repairs. Dont use them!!!

These people do not know how to run a business. They’re so Freaking confused they pick up when they’re not supposed to, they don’t deliver reliably, and they talk to you with an arrogance like i’ve never seen before, and yes they are a little cheaper but you get dumpsters with Graffiti all over them and their service is also cheap! I’d stay far, far away.
I run a respectable contracting company and have never encountered a service company such as this.
The pictures they put below are a joke! they took pictures from a more reputable company. I have never seen any dumpsters from them that looked that good!!!

I didn’t even have to hire these jokers to find out I would NEVER do business with them.
I manage a property that houses elderly people that need van service. Because of this, we applied for and paid for a passenger loading zone in front of our building years ago The white curb is clearly marked, and there is a sign that reiterates this.
J.D. Hauling was apparently doing some work nearby and decided to ignore the sign, our rights and the safety of the elderly people who use the passenger loading zone by dropping a large container, loaded with concrete into our one and only spot.
When I called the number on the side of the truck, the lady that answered got hostile when I mentioned Unilocal and hung up on me. I called back — same thing again. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the lady pulled that old «I’m the only one you can speak with» bullshit and hung up. Pointless.
This company represents the worst in mom-​and-​pop customer service. What kind of company hires people who feel so entitled that they take things that don’t belong to them? Completely ignorant of social norms like asking permission before using other people’s things. And then, to just blow it off like nothing happened and hang up on those trying to correct the problem? Wow.
Its not surprised they have so many 1-​star ratings here. Honestly, it wasn’t the dumpster blocking our parking spot that ruined their reputation in my eyes — it was the lady with the shitty attitude on the other end of the phone who completely failed to make things right after her company had done wrong. That will kill a company every time. Its not the crime — its the cover up that gets you in trouble.
Most importantly, the contractor who hired J.D. Hauling is now going to get a letter from our management company, as are the property owners where the work was being done.
If you are a contractor and hire a company like this, YOU can be liable for their fuck-​ups. I wouldn’t risk it.

I called a bunch of places to get quotes. JD Services actually answered the phone and were friendly, so that puts them ahead of half their competitors. Their estimate was the lowest by quite a bit, and in the end they charged me exactly what they quoted. They dropped off and picked up on the pre-​arranged days.
They lose a star because they didn’t tell me what time they were coming to drop it off. They just showed up. Also, they kept sending me emails to e-​sign their agreement even after I had signed a physical copy, e-​signed a digital copy, and told their website to stop reminding me.

WORST RIP OFF EVER! DO NOT USE.
Last year I had to remove a lot of dirt under my house. I told him I needed at least 10 boxes but that the turn around must be quick so I don’t lose time paying the workers. First day showed up 3 hours late! With 5 guys waiting to work I lost money. Turn around bad! Had to wait again between pick up and drop off. I had to stop they work due to some other issues after 6 boxes. When I got the final bill Joe charged me for 8 boxes. He said he would credit me when I started work again. What? that is over $ 1000 Well finally ready to start again and probably will need another 6 boxes, but called Joe to ask about the credit. Earlier in the week he said he would check and get back to me, LIAR. I called several days later and lady answering the phone pulled up my records immediately and said I had no credit, so I asked her to tell Joe to call me back. I called this morning and he was in, but when she asked me what it was about he didn’t get on the phone and said he was busy and would call me back. We’ll see what he does and if he is true to his word. From the reviews I bet not. Time to call BBB and also a NEWS Channel to expose this joker if he does not give me my two boxes. Will use Redwood Debris instead!

This is the worst dump and hauling company i have used. They realed me in by offering competitive pricing for the box but didn’t inform me that their normal
Weight limit is quite on the low side and that it would be $ 80 per ton over!
Very nice on the phone but completely misleading. Go with a bigger company they will charge just a flat rate! I got stuck with a hefty $ 720 bill after I had already paid $ 330 for the box!

JD Hauling Services is a scam!!! The owner Joe lacks integrity! Be aware of this company because I recently had a very bad experience with them.
The owner Joe has a business set up where he capitalizes on his $ 60 rates. He intentionally sends his workers to pick up containers during hours that he knows that the job sites are closed.
There are noise ordinance rules in residential areas, so it is unreasonable for JD Services to pick-​up or deliver their containers during certain hours, because it would cause to much noise and disturb the residents. But the owner is not flexible with his pick up hours, which essentially causes an inconvenience.
I agree with the person who wrote a comment on March 29, 2009… JD Services are flat out terrible!!!
You have to give a 1 star rating, because this system doesn’t allow you to save your post otherwise, but JD Services doesn’t deserve the 1 star!
