History

Established in 1961.

Started in 1961 by Henk van Arkel one year or so after arriving on the Peninsula from his home land of Holland.

Holland service is a Bosch authorized service center, which means Holland Service is a partner with Bosch the worlds foremost designer and manufacturer of automotive management systems and parts, our relationship with Bosch allows us constant training and access to their repair information. We are also AAA approved service center, Better Business Bureau and Ascca members and adhere to their strict codes of business .

Dick van Arkel has been working on cars since he was 11 years old, his love of cars started when he arrived in the states and saw his first hot rods, he loved what he saw and has been working on cars since, he has perfected the art of maintenance and repair with his no nonsense approach to car maintenance and repair. even after 40 years of running the shop he still loves coming to work to take car of his customers cars, Dicks love of maintaining and repairing cars is shown in the cleanliness of his Business, the waiting room is a car lovers delight. and kids love it too, the attention to detail throughout the shop and in the work done there is superb.
