Burbank Pit Stop

Went back this month because I was in the area and was in a rush. It’s now $ 40 for an oil change. $ 40. Twice the price of other places in Burbank.
They power washed paint off the trunk of my 350Z and on my Pathfinder they washed off one of the blind spot mirrors and didn’t even bother to mention it. They’re completely unprofessional, their workers are super slow (30 minutes minimum from when they wash your car to when they dry it).
Spend $ 20 to get an oil change elsewhere and another $ 10 to get your car washed elsewhere. You’ll still save yourself $ 10 and your car won’t hate you. And you’ll still have all your paint. I have no idea how these guys are still in business.

I have brought my car here several times now to be washed and have the interior detailed. It’s super reasonably priced and they do a great job! The only bummer is that, in my experience, it has sometimes taken almost two hours just for a basic wash and detail, which is kind of a long time to wait when they’re not even that busy. But, there’s a park across the street and some shops and coffee places just a 5 – 10 min walk away while you’re waiting so it’s not too bad– you can bring your laptop to the Starbucks down the street and get some work done or whatever. just be prepared that it could take some time so don’t go when you have a tight schedule.
My car was recently hit and run while parked and my mirror got knocked off so I had to duct tape it to hold it on until it was fixed. They got all of the sticky residue from the tape off my mirror and paint without leaving any streaks or smears and they were able to clean off and buff out the dust and paint the other car left on mine. This place is a good value and the guys work really hard, I definitely recommend it.
Oh and they can do cash back for the tip if you have to pay with a card which is nice!

Quoted me 1 price over the phone. I got there, they emptied my oil, and all of a sudden it’s double the price because I have to use synthetic and they quoted me non-​synthetic. I’m not a mechanic.
The car had no oil for me to leave this overcharging spot because they emptied it then increase the price…, and if they gave my non-​synthetic oil, I had to sign a waiver incase the car messed up… really? It wasn’t even my car, I was doing my friend a favor. They’re the «experts» and should be able to properly quote over the phone… I don’t know what oil what car takes, that’s their job.
I gave the guy my exact car make, model and year on the phone before I drove out there.
Long story short, they scammed me and didn’t even take ownership of it.
Last time I’ll go here.

So the moron who writes the receipt for the cars coming in for a wash tried to charge me an extra 10 dollars to wash my car. Why? Cause it was dusty… no $hit sherlock, that’s why I brought in my car. I’m super annoyed.
I literally drive my car to school and back, so it’s not like it’s a pig sty.
To make matters worse, they clean my windshield with soiled rags with oil or something gross that left me unable to see when I drove in the sun.
I’ve been here a few times and each time I tell myself not to come back.
Go someplace else, these people are a joke.

Not friendly customer service, but that seems to be the norm with business owners around here if you are not part of their nationality. Then he overcharged ($ 15) to shampoo a soiled spot on the seat of my car (When it’s $ 8 to shampoo 4 rugs, huh) had to go over the car when I got home for spots missed and places where there was still stuck on road grime. Not a pleasant experience, especially for the cost. Hopefully the shampooed spot got completely removed, or for that I will be coming back to have fixed rather fixing myself like I did the other stuff.

So amazing and helpful. I’m from the east coast and was having issue with my Equinox and the customer service was amazing, they detailed my car for free and charged me almost $ 100 less then other quotes I received.

Quick Saturday afternoon oil change. Guys were very nice. Got a free car wash w it too… nothing fancy and I should have spent a little to get my car really cleaned, but I’m happy enough with it! Thank you!

If I could give 0 stars I would, I dropped my car since I work across street… it took over 2 hours to be done. Vela told us to call and check in if we didn’t hear from her within the hour, we called she said she was too busy to check if my car was ready. Once I picked up my car and turned it on, my air vent smelled horrific. My car smells like urine, and when I called to speak to the manager Vela was very rude and said he wasn’t there and tried to direct me to someone for an oil change, I didn’t even get an oil change. Horrific service will never come back here again.

NEVER EVER COME HERE. They put a huge chip they put in my brand new car after a waxing. and of course the sleazy owner denied everything. This place should be shut down. Listen to the one star reviews.

I don’t even want to give them one star, worst car wash ever took over an hour for mediocre wash and at the oil changes not one of those fucking rude mechanics said anything when I pulled up just what’s the mileage. You don’t have to be all fake and chummy but you don’t have to act like a dick, never again

Just got just the outside of my car washed. Took over 45 minutes and when I tried to start my car, the battery was dead. I talked to the manager who less than empathetically jump started my car, but didn’t give me a refund for the $ 7.00 it cost for the wash (really?!). The car was in excellent working order before coming in and has never had any problems with battery. DO NOT COME HERE. I’d be better off hand washing my car with a bucket of water in the street.

I had a change oil on my car and these guys over tightened the oil filter cap! Now it’s broken and there’s a harsh leak of oil on my car. I brought it back to them to see what they have to say and the owner himself said that it’s cause the heat from the engine melted the cap. I have been working on cars for more than 10 years and I’ve never had an engine melt the oil cap! Even from over heating it’s too far and sturdy enough to withstand the heat! And besides, inspecting the cap, it looks to me that your mechanic over tightened it.
The owner told me it’s $ 55 for a replacement, I’m not one to complain and I wasn’t expecting for these guys to cover the entire bill, but at least have the decency to accept your mistakes and split the cost with me. Do you honestly think automotive engineers would place the oil filter cap as close as possible to the engine only to have it melt?
To my disappointment, I brought the car to Mercedes Burbank, just across the street from them and he confirmed that it’s been overtightened and he has a brand new cap for $ 30! What a rip off!
This is my first and last time going to Burbank pit stop. Bad customer service, they’re only good for car wash, even then I got my window scratched from the workers! Geez.

I made a Unilocal account just so I can bash this place and the awfully terrible people that work here. Rudest people I’ve ever dealt with and its not just one, it’s all of them. They also charge you extra for the «free car wash» after getting an oil change if you have anything other than an actual car, and give you the excuse of your truck is too dirty so we’re gonna have to charge you extra for that too. I was here yesterday because my backseat had a few stains. My 5yo smh.
I spoke with the gentleman and explained what I wanted and he offered me a car wash plus stain removal on backseat for $ 40. then another worker offered to wax my car but declined. I’m not fancy like that… I’m more concered with the inside.
So one guy was assigned to my car and he was amazing. After the wash he was inside wipping and vacuuming again.
When I got my car back it was super clean on the inside. Not a hair in sight. Nothing was overlooked. Seats were clean. Middle console cleaned.
I’ve gone to many places and been disappointed so I’m super pleased to have found my new go to car wash.

I heard a loud screech and smelt burning rubber. I went to look at where my cargo van was exiting the car wash. The driver’s foot apparently missed the break pedal and rammed my van into their exit gate. The gate was covered with rubber but the metal frame still scraped against the side causing paint damage and dents along the driver’s side.

Highly dissatisfied with their service. Took my brand new car for a car wash which I though was close to where I was. The guy suggested a deluxe and I agreed because I wanted my car to look great…
Sloppy job… Water stains everywhere … They scratched my car also!
C’mon if they wear belts and pants w buttons and stuff … That can damage paint
It was not well dusted from the inside, the windows there all patchy and the car scent … STUNK SO BAD!!!

Piss poor excuse for a car wash
My car wasn’t clean when it was done! Bugs still smashed on the windshield and dirt everywhere. The owner said if I wanted stuff like that to be cleaned I needed to have the car detailed.
No sympathy from the manager
Will never take my vehicle here again

Of all the car washes in the Glendale/​Burbank area this one is now my favorite.
I’ll start with the staff. The cashier/​employees were very helpful and friendly.
The actual wash job was quick, I was in and out within 30 minutes. They did a so-​so job, better than all of the others I tried in the area.
Here comes the good part…
Free coffee and WIFI as you wait! And get this… it was Keurig coffee… Yum!

Came here last minute on Saturday at 3:30pm for a regular wash. I ended up getting an interior shampoo and detail along with a wax for the exterior. Price came out to $ 120. I didn’t mind the price because I had a lot of stains. I have 2 kids so I knew it would be a lot of work. The man who I spoke with was friendly and told me it would take about 1.5hrs and suggested we played at the park with the kids.
The rating is more for the quality of the work. Everyone was so friendly and sweet so that’s why I didn’t give 1 star. They deserved a little extra but they way they returned my car was a little disappointing. :(
I felt like I couldn’t really inspect my car because they had already closed when I got my car back, so I quickly looked and it looked okay at the place, so I tipped the 2 guys $ 20 EACH. I know those men work hard and I like to show my appreciation and I THOUGHT they cleaned my car in detail but apparently not.
There was soap still left in my carpet and was literally soaked, my visors had dirt all over them, my wheels looked like they were lightly brushed over with a sponge and still had visible dirt, there was a lot of spots in the inside that hadn’t been vacuumed or wiped down and there was still some debris on the actual car and windows.
I paid a lot of money and I felt like all I got was a deluxe wash that was probably worth $ 15 and a $ 50 worth interior shampoo. I tipped my guys really good and would have expected for them to at least wipe things down properly.
Wouldn’t recommend going here for a full on detail.
But I do have to point out that everyone here was very nice! I just wasn’t too happy with the service and it was too late for me to say anything cause I had noticed it once I had gotten home.

This spot is down the street from my place so it’s convenient for me to swing by here before work when my car needs a wash. Quick service. Guys are detailed. For $ 12. I’m happy when I leave.
This review is only for the regular car wash. I don’t care for detailed cleaning. I feel the regular car wash meets all my needs! :)
