2 Friends established the business together in 2001, wanting to raise the bar of what was offered in the central Texas self storage market, and 1^st Choice Storage is the realization of that dream.

Peggy started in the self storage industry by accident over 18 years ago, and she has stayed in it because she loves helping customers and the industry. She is originally from San Antonio and has had opportunities to work in self storage in other states managing over 50 stores across the eastern seaboard. Now she is back in her home state doing what she does best… self storage for Blue Llama Storage.

The Blue Llama Storage team understand the reasons our customers need storage and we have solutions to their storage needs. Our facilities offer drive up and Climate Controlled units, 24 hour access, a full retail center with boxes and packing supplies, our managers are both professional and knowledgeable about self-​storage and they are ready to help with solutions for your business and personal storage needs.
