Specialties

Our preschool, which includes programs for 2’s, 3’s and 4’s (Pre-​K), provides a creative and nurturing learning environment that supports each child’s individual development.

Our play-​based, multi-​sensory curriculum includes weekly yoga

and music classes for all groups, swim instruction and a museum program with the Brooklyn Museum for our Pre-​K class and an option for Spanish instruction in the afternoons.

The physical environment plays a large role in a child’s learning experience. Our classrooms are light, spacious and well-​organized. A large indoor play space and access to Prospect Park and other outdoor playgrounds facilitate gross motor play.

Our curriculum incorporates block building, water and sand play, dramatic play, art, cooking, scientific experimentation and observation, reading and storytelling.

Children’s experiences at Union Temple Preschool inspire them to meet the challenges of kindergarten with excitement and confidence.

Established in 1990.

Union Temple Preschool was founded to serve the diverse population of Prospect Heights and Park Slope. We continue to strive to provide a welcoming community for young families of all backgrounds.
