Description

Specialties

Mozarts and Einsteins is a fully-licensed, arts-based preschool located in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn next to Grand Army Plaza and Prospect Heights. Children must be aged 2 – 5 to attend. Programs are full day or extended day. Children enjoy daily classes of Music, Dance, Math/Science, English, Spanish, Art and Drama. Students rotate classes which helps them stay focused and engaged. Highly qualified lead teachers specialize in their subjects. Bi-annual recitals, bi-annual parent/teacher conferences, family events, small class sizes are just some highlights of this unique program. Our school is only closed for 8 major holidays during the year. During the summer, we have a Musical Theatre Summer Camp. Playtime outside happens daily at Prospect Park which is right next door. We proudly support Education Through Music (ETM), an organization which partners with inner-city schools to provide music as a core subject for all children.

History

Established in 2013.

Mozarts and Einsteins Preschool is owned by Melody Stevens, the owner of the well-established Academy of Music and Dance in New Jersey. The Academy has been providing music lessons, both vocal and instrumental, to children of all ages for almost 20 years. Ms. Stevens believes that the foundation of a love of learning begins with an early education that has its foundation in the arts. The preschool is based on the unique concept formed by Bobbie Robertson of Music and Dance Preschools. Mozarts and Einsteins is currently opening up a second location in Jamesburg, NJ.
