Deirdre is amazing!!! She grooms my long hair chihuahua Cooper. Normally he is very scared at timid at groomer but he loves this place!!! Clean, friendly and easy online booking. Cooper always smells and looks great after leaving Tiny Tails. Thanks for taking good care of him :)

Excellent, no stress, environment for my pooch. Definitely ask for the no-​cage deal. It’ll be like a play date for them.

I’m really surprised by all the positive feedback. I brought my maltipoo in for a cut and they did a terrible job. I said i didn’t want her shaved down short and guess what when i arrived she was shaved down short, and it was uneven and her face was cut in a way that looked like she had a handle bar mustache. My husband could’ve done a better job with his clippers. I asked them to fix her face and said I was not happy with the way she looked. They were real dismissive and said she was really matted. I know she wasn’t really matted bc it had only been 6 weeks since the last time she was groomed and I brush her regularly. I call it laziness and being too busy that they didn’t take the time to brush her out. Needless to say i will not be bringing her back. Also, it was over 5 hours she was there and that’s ridiculous.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I have a timid and easily stressed rescue Bichon named Lucy. I’ve taken Lucy to Tiny Tails twice now (her next appointment is tomorrow) and am completely sold on it. Lucy’s groomer Kristin really takes the time to help Lucy feel comfortable as possible, its amazing. At the last place I was bringing Lucy to, she couldn’t wait to leave. When I pick her up from Tiny Tails not only does she look beautiful, but she seems so happy.
I also just really appreciate how when I come to pick her up Kristin takes the time to come out of the grooming room and talk to me about what she did and why. The last place I took Lucy to did not know how to groom a Bichon and, more often than not, she came out not looking like what I had imagined. From the get-​go Kristin knew what needed to be done and has done an outstanding job!
Just a side note — their website (I believe) says that grooming takes about 3 hours. Last time Lucy had a haircut, they took 5 hours. I am 100% okay with this because the reason for the long haircut was that in between bathing, blowdrying, brushing, trimming, and primping Kristin was letting Lucy walk around, destress, and play. When I got to the store to pick Lucy up she was giving Kristin kisses! (My dog is normally skittish around people she doesn’t know). Now I just know that Lucy’s haircuts need to be scheduled for the morning! Thank you Kristin & Tiny Tails!

I love Tiny Tails. Staff is always warm and welcoming. They do great work in a great environment. Love the rescue efforts as well.

So happy I found Tiny Tails! Being new to the area I have found it really hard to find a groomer that is trustworthy and does a good job on Scottish Terriers. No more driving all the way to NJ to get my dogs haircut! We love Tiny Tails!

First time trying tiny tails and loved it! Kristin was our groomer and she is amazing! Got my babe a full grooming –a nice n short cut for the summer. The facility is clean &they have a huge area for the dogs to playing around cage free. Price is very reasonable. Many of my friends already asked where he got his cut and i recommended them all. Will def go back again! =)

They listen! I’ve been a Tiny Tails customer for about a year now. I switched from another groomer because this place is closer to my home. I love how Tiny Tails grooms my babies. We are happy customers and will continue to return.

I just got my first puppy and I took him for his first grooming experience went to tiny tails found them on Unilocal and I must say loved it nice staff very friendly deffently I will be going back.

I’ve been going to Tiny Tails for a few years. I followed them from 86^th street to their new location. The lady with the red hair, Linda, always works on my dog. He loves her and she loves him. All is good. They are very busy because they do a good job.

Tiny Tails is the greatest grooming salon I have ever taken my pets to. I have taken my dogs to groomers all over the city, including the most posh facilities of the Upper East Side that charged double and never had as wonderful of an experience as I and my dogs have had at Tiny Tails. The staff is incredible. Your dog’s happiness and comfort is their priority. They are the only groomers I trust with my little boy who has very bad arthritis and fear aggression. They are understanding of his needs, fears and issues. After experiencing their cage-​free layout, everything else seems cruel. For your dog’s sake, take them to Tiny Tails, a place where they aren’t another dollar sign but a member of the family.

Our 2 dogs, Snow and Valentino love going to Tiny Tails because they know that they will be groomed to perfection. Kristin and her crew are awesome and take the time to answer your questions with professionalism, I would not trust any other groomer with my dogs, that’s how good they really are.

I’ve been bringing my Yorkie-​Poodle mix to Tiny Tails for a little more than 3 years. The love, care and dedication the staff gives to their clients is beyond anything I have ever experienced since owning a dog.
I never have a problem getting an appointment — or dropping my dog off early if needed. The Cage Free/​Day Care area is one of the many perks of being a client of Tiny Tails. I never worry while my dog is being groomed or in Day Care because he is in great hands, and extremely safe.
The staff takes time to answer every question you may have with courtesy and professionalism. Tiny Tails welcomes everyone with open arms and makes their clients feel like they are part of the «pack.»

We have been here two times after going to multiple groomers over the past few years and so far so good!
The girls that work here are nice and seem to really care about the pups. They have a play area for the dogs that has a wee wee pad, soft beds and lots of toys, you do have to pay for this luxury but it’s nice to know it’s an option, especially if the thought of keeping your dog in a cage makes you uneasy.
Their prices are about $ 5 to $ 10 lower than other places for basic grooming which is always a help.
If you write down specifics for what you want done they will do a great job of giving you what you want!
The second time we went, one of my pups came out with a bit of a lazy eye which has happened before. The groomer explained that he had some hair stuck in the eye ball and it became irritated when removed. She promised his condition would improve and said to call her if he wasn’t ok by 2pm the next day and she would take him to her vet.
As predicted, he was much better by around noon and it gave my wife and I piece of mind in knowing we can trust these girls.
They only do grooming and take their time, it takes around 2 and a half to 3 hours per dog because they say they have a process that is a little longer than other places.
Each dog gets a pretty bow around their neck when done, too! I really like Tiny Tails and would recommend them to anyone looking for a groomer.

We just moved into the neighborhood and the last thing we expected was to love around the corner from such an animal-​friendly block! Tiny Tails is located between a veterinary office and a gourmet pet food store — perfect for a dog owner.
We took Leela to Tiny Tails based on the excellent reviews. We previously went to the Pawlour in Park Slope but decided to make the change due to convenience and comparable pricing. For $ 55, Leela’s hair was expertly cut, nails trimmed, ears cleaned, and anal glands expressed. And she smelled awesome! Like sweet strawberries. The best part is you can see the dogs running around in their play area. The groomers were both so sweet to Leela and I could tell she really liked them too.
Their shop smells really nice too — not like a kennel, which I’ve experienced in the past. I think this put Leela at ease as well since she was adopted from a shelter.
I think it’s safe to say we’re customers for life. Pamper your dog here — you won’t regret it.

There aren’t many groomers on this side of Bensonhurst so I was really happy when Tiny Tails moved into the neighborhood. Their prices are on par with the other places in Brooklyn and the service was pretty good! My dog came out with a great cut and smelling like lavendar. They also decorated him with a gingham bow which was a nice touch. My dog wasn’t crazy crazy nuts when I picked him up (which usually happens whenever I pick him up from the groomers) so I’m guessing my dog found his experience tolerable as well!
The staff was super friendly and they have a great online booking system.

Been to this groomers new location twice. They used to be located in a smaller space off 86^th and 14^th ave (went to them there 1 time before they moved to this larger location).
The newer location is definately done nice. Its a big space, clean and they offer cage free grooming. Prices are resonable.
Note: seemingly difficult to get an appointment for your dogs grooming (unless you call 2+ weeks in advance). Also to note, on my last visit everything was fine until I came to pick up my dog — was told he would be about 4 hours until pick up. Thought Id pop in about 20 minutes before so I could pick up some dog sprays and ask about the day care. Right as I was walking in (they have to buzz you in) the woman actually doing the grooming (think the owner) popped her head out and gave a very strong attitude saying «we told you 4 hours, your dogs not ready yet». She continued to whisper in the back to another staff member about me as if I wasnt standing there. Overall, quite unprofessional. Well guess what, I didnt buy any product.
Although, they did a good job on my dogs grooming, I’ve heard a handful of people that stopped visiting this grooming shop because of attitude issues with the owner. Well Im pretty sure I met her. and, unfortunately, havent been back since.

I have been to 4 different groomers over the last year with my Yorkie. I always felt like I was talking to the wall or they just chose to not do what I asked for. The last groomer I went to butchered my dogs hair! I was giving up on the groomers and was about to get a grooming book for dummies and do it myself! I got a new puppy Maltese and was grooming her myself… I was doing a good job but it was not easy and I was nervous I might cut her! Then a friend told me about tiny tails… I was skeptical! But my Yorkie walked right in with no help… good sign number one! The cage free grooming… best thing ever! My babies love it there and come home looking great for once! I can’t not express how happy and how thankful I am to have been told about tiny tails! It’s a bit more $ then what I have been paying at other places but the quality is worth ever extra $!!!
