Kasper really is an amazing groomer and his skills are show dog quality.
Our dog is now a senior and Kasper takes especially good and gentle care of our pet sheltie. He goes above and beyond and he really knows the animals well– he’s much more than a groomer, he knows a lot about diet and health of certain breeds of dogs. I personally won’t trust anyone else with our beloved Roxy.

Kasper is not only the best groomer I’ve had the experience to experience in the last 10 years … and I’ve taken our dog to quite a few, and after many let downs decided to bath & groom her myself.
But she needed a real grooming and Kasper came recommended so I figured I’ll give it one more try.
Kasper is simple the best.
I only wished I found him sooner.
Would have saved me years of grief.
He takes personal interests in your beloved pet/​family member and treats it with the upmost love, respect, care & understanding.
Every time I pick her up she is so happy and wants to stay.
Never at the other places, she be depressed for a couple of days.
Not here !
As soon as she sees Kasper her tail gets going.
I would trust this family member to know one else.
He doesn’t cage any if the animals.
He’ll let you know approximately how long the grooming will be and he’ll call with ⁵⁄₁₀ minutes to being ready for pick up.
That’s why there’s no need for caging and no need to wait around.
I’ve never meant a more loving, caring person towards animals.
Again, I trust my dog with no one else.
If your in need of a top groomer or need to replace the one you may have used, then Kasper at Pimp my Pooch is your last groomer you’ll ever use.

My girlfriend took our pekignese here for grooming and honestly i am not too fond of his haircut. I gave 3 stars because apparantly they are very knowledgeable about dogs and breeds plus they were accomadating since she had to bring him early.
And the dog was not Stressed out after being groomed. My girlfriend was told that if they cut his hair too short then the dog will look sick… But the haircut he got makes him look sick. Its very choppy and his tail looks untouched. Our dog has been groomed since he was 3 months old and this Is definitely my least favorite ever. I could’ve done this myself. He always gets cut short. Now he looks akward and like he needs to be groomed. Do doggy shape ups exist?
Update: It has been 3 days since my dogs grooming and he looks worst. Like it has been over a month since his last grooming. I had to remove 2 stars because im giving a review on a dogs haircut which is a 1. I won’t bring let my girlfriend bring my dog back. I can do that cut myself… Sorry.

Great place! The cut they gave my Pomeranian was awesome! I have tried many places but this one is the one I’ll be going back to. Professional, friendly staff as well.

I have taken my Maltese a few times, and every time I go he looks so cute. I love this place and would recommend this doggie spa. They are very sweet and gentle with my boy.

My 16-​week old American Cocker Spaniel puppy just got his final shots and can now go to the groomer. He being my first dog, and he being such a little guy, I carefully shopped around for a Brooklyn-​based groomer. Well, we have found a wonderful one in Casper at Pimp My Pooch. When I paid him a visit a few months ago, he took the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions and address my concerns. Scheduling my puppy’s first appointment was an easy process and because he had the first appointment of the day, Casper let me stay until he was finished. This meant I could watch him be groomed and, thanks to Casper answering each and every question I had, I was able to fully understand why each action was taken during his grooming experience. Needless to say, we had an OUTSTANDING first grooming appointment — I could not have imagined that it could have gone any better. We will return to be under Casper’s grooming care in the future and, in the meantime, thank him from the very bottom of our hearts for ensuring we had simply the very best first trip to the groomer.

We took our Bella to get groomed at Pimp my Pooch and we were delighted. She turned out beautifully and she was done so quickly, and the price was reasonable compared to those large pet stores that charge a ridiculous amount of money which I was really tired of paying and is always so difficult to get an appointment. We will definitely be back.

I took my Maltese/​shihtzu here and loved it. She looked adorable with her new puppy cut. It was well done and all of the pups in the place seemed happy. I got a same day appointment, and the cut took about 2 – 3 hours. I will be back. Thanks!

Took our two pups to Pimp My Pooch for the first time today and we couldn’t be happier! We were able to schedule an appointment pretty quickly and they both came out looking and smelling great! In particular, we worried about one of our dogs that struggles with various health issues. Going to the groomers can be pretty draining for him but the staff were very considerate of his special needs, taking note of our concerns and modifying his grooming process when he got uncomfortable/​stressed.
Thanks for taking care of our babies and making them look so dapper! We’ll be back for sure!

My 16 week old Mini Schnauzer puppy was never left alone, so, naturally i worried about bringing her to the groomer. The owner’s dogs were there and Ellie seemed to like them right away. She didn’t seem to mind is leaving her. When we walked by some time later, she was peacefully resting. It’s definitely a good environment for dogs. When we picked her up she looked happy.
My dog came out looking adorable! Her fur was so soft! She smelled good! Her Schnauzer features were accentuated. Meanwhile, Casper listened to our specific desires and accomplished them. She ended up looking exactly as we imagined.
The only con was that it took 4 hours instead of 3, but we will definitely return.

As a respond to your reply, I did not receive any «gift» of angel eye from you guys. Also it wasn’t my friend’s first time that went, it was actually the 3^rd. I brush my dog daily to try to prevent him from matting, the most recent time was because I was on vacation so my friend that’s watching over my dog did not brush him.

I am so happy with my groomer i recently lost my furry son and am completely heart broken and now super protective of my furry daughter and like always pimp my pooch gives her love makes her look beautiful and makes me feel better with laughs kindness and great service i have recommended family friends coworkers and everyone always says say thing there the best in the business

well once again my Bella is beautiful because of Casper!!! thank you. when I took bella in she had really bad knots behind her ears. not only did Casper get them out he didn’t need to cut the hair behind her ears like some other groomers do. Great job! I will definitely see you again soon!

I took my doggie for the first time, really good customer service and grooming. The guy was very nice. My only complaint is that it’s expensive :(
I used to go to Vladas salon, and they did the same quality work for $ 40. Oh well!

I’ve been here at least 3 or 4 times after first coming across this place using a Groupon I was pleased with how Casper and Christopher took care of my Chow mix Gypsy. I recently got another dog Sophie who is a Malti-​poo and she came out looking like a cutie pie instead of a disheveled mop. When I first walked in it seemed out of place that Casper is a dog groomer but after taking my two dogs Sophie and Gypsy to them a couple times I must say I am a customer for life. They take their time and do it right the first time.

We were looking for a place to take our baby shihtzu because we were leaving her with a friend while my hubby and I took a trip to San Fransisco.
Cesar made time for us on the same day and after reading the reviews, we were super excited to bring our baby in. We dropped her off and it’s always a worry what the outcome will be because every groomer has their version of what the outcome should be.
When it was time for pick Leona up – she was happy and it shows a sign that she liked Cesar – which is always good to know. He did an amazing job. She was so beautiful and fluffy and happy.
We will totally take her back and we are all happy we finally found a place that we can call «our regular» place. Thanks Cesar. You are amazing.
