I had my wedding at Littlefield and it was the perfect venue! I feel like it is a secret gem among NY/Brooklyn wedding venues that nobody knows about. Their rates are such a good deal — MUCH better than similar nearby venues like The Bell House, Music Hall of Williamsburg, etc. They are easy to work with — the whole team, Scott, Julie, Mads and Caitlin were all a pleasure to work with, always answered our emails and questions in a timely manner. When we did a venue walkthrough a month before the wedding, we met with Julie and she was so sweet and helpful and went above and beyond in helping us solve logistical questions that had come up. Plus the venue is food truck friendly if you want to do a food truck wedding — which we did, we had two food trucks and they had an easy time parking out front in front of Littlefield’s courtyard and serving from there. If you are looking for a nontraditional, alternative, quirky wedding venue that will let you host an AWESOME party at a great price point, check out Littlefield. We are so glad we had our wedding there. Our friends all got drunk, had a good time, and told us it was the most fun wedding ever, which is exactly what we wanted.

I can name a few spots off the top of my head where slow rock reggae is played but none as diversified as this! In south Brooklyn this is the go to spot for a night out with friends or just a place to kick back with a date. Added bonus: you can buy jerk chicken, or jerk salmon from the food truck outside! Delicious!

Littlefield is not so little lol. It’s a very spacious concert venue that can hold a decent crowd. I came here for the R&B Only party a few weeks back and it was lit. The bar has a great selection of drinks(although they were pricey), there’s coat check and the bathrooms are decent. I really like this place.

Love Littlefield! I came here for two events — the«No Office Holiday Party» and to watch the Mortified show. This place is pretty awesome! Both times I went I had a blast. The crowd is mostly yuppies in their 20s and 30s. The place has a bar area and dancefloor — although they change everything depending on the event they’re hosting. They’re always holding events/shows — check out their Facebook page for sure!

Laughter is the best medicine! And it’s my favorite ab work out. cause I don’t even need to go to the gym! Score! It was my first time at Littlefield. Monday night they have an $ 8(and service fees) comedy show. The big hitters were Eugene Mirman and Kristen Schaal popularly know as the Bob’s Burgers children, Gene and Louise there was no way I was going to miss it! I’ve been a fan of Mirman for years and the two did parts in tv series Flight of the Conchords to boot. Schaal is the creepiest and sweetest fan I’ve ever seen on tv. Schaal killed it with her jokes of horses and periods… not horse’ periods… two different jokes. And she also joked about her love for m-a-g-i-c! She’s fun and frisky! Mirman’s highlights of sound drugs and letter to future son were priceless. The atmosphere is a small intimate theater. Arrive early to snag a good spot. Stay away from the front row for your own safety. You will be made fun of, duh. Wear layers, it gets brisk in there. There’s cheap beers for four buckaroos. There was like 6 comedians for $ 8 and it was worth every penny. I loved doing something different and laughing my way into the night. It was magical!

Saw this event for the 1st time advertised on Unilocal a few weeks ago. I told some ppl about it and we went last weekend. Loved the atmosphere, the cover charge was on point and the drink prices were reasonable. Needless to say, this will be a regular event for me every month from now on. Get there early and find a good spot, it gets very crowded after about 1ish.

There is always something cool going on at Littlefield, whether is a dance party or performance. I recommend checking their website for events and getting ticket in advance because they often sell out. The location and space: It’s not to far from the union street train station you could also walk from Atlantic. There are a few local earteries in close by. I went to pickle shack, which is sadly closing this month. Inside, there is a bar out front near the entrance. A curtain separates the performance area from bar. There are few stools and seats in the bar area. In the performance area depending on the setup, there are seats. If you going for a storytelling show, get there when doors open so you can snag a seat.

I came here for a Bowie Tribute party it was the best time. The place is huge and there was lots of space to dance around, even went on the stage to bust out my best moves. The drinks were strong and cheap, vodka tonics were $ 6. I would come back here for another event despite how far it is, it’s worth the troop.

If you live on the area or coming from Manhattan, just check what they have at that night and head out here … My wife and me have visited couple times and it’s «on the mark» every time! Completely different sets every time but great and unique every time! Last night it was Burlesque. Just come, seriously :)

My Review is mainly for Reggae Retro, a once a month promoted event hosted at Littlefield. This low key music venue on Degraw Street is pretty damn dope! Littlefield has cool security staff working the door, who welcomes you and talks to you with respect. After getting your belongings checked and paying your entry fee, you walk into a party with kick ass old school reggae music and mature adults. The crowd is diverse and everyone is looking to have a good time. The air conditioner in there was on full blast so there were areas that were really cold. The bartenders were helpful and friendly, gave me no issues when I requested a little more ahhhh sweetness to my drink. Ran into a fellow Unilocaler, it’s the funniest trying to explain your Unilocal friendships to your real life friends. This is a casual non — pretentious environment suitable for couples or those looking to meet new people. Ladies you would be welcomed and more comfortable wearing flat footwear. High heels not required because you just want to vibe to the reggae music and have fun.

Fantastic comedy venue. It’s so unassuming, in the middle of nowhere. However, once inside, it’s actually a really cute place. There’s ample seating for the early folks(like myself) and a bar for the thirsty types. Make sure to get here early, though — the seats inside get filled up SUPER fast, and you’ll be stuck standing if you’re too late.

Had a fine time here on a recent night. Relieved to find that there were cheap beer options. $ 3 Miller and Narranganset. $ 7 beer/shot special is probably not the bargain it’s made out to be, but hey it’s there of you want it. Sound was good. Sight lines were decent. Crowd was boring generic brooklyn gentrifiers, but if you want to meet a dude with curly hair in glasses who’s Mom still pays his cell phone bill come here. He has to wake up early to go to class, though, so he’s probably going to ask you to come to his place. His bedroom smells like feet, and the George Foreman grill desperately needs cleaning, but there’s toilet paper, running water, and a dog eared copy of a Chuck Kloisterman book, so it’s comfortable enough, but not something you’d brag to your friends about.

I went here with a friend for an improv show(beer prov… super funny, would definitely recommend checking it out!). Littlefield is located between 3rd and 4th avenues on Degraw in Gowanus. From what I can tell, it’s generally only open for events but the event calendar stays pretty full between concerts, shows, speakers, etc. it has an outdoor space that’s small but cute, as well as a bar and seating area and the main performance space. Pretty cool art hung on the wall and reasonably priced drinks($ 3 and up for beers, $ 8 for wine). No food offerings but plenty of places in the neighborhood to grab a bite before or after. It’s a funky but welcoming place that is worth a visit! Scott, who coordinates any private parties or rentals, is fantastic to communicate with(quick to respond to emails and answer any questions) and their space rental prices are hard to top!

I find myself here about once a month for Night Train, improv, dancing, or some other random event. They have great events year-round. Ticket prices are cheap to reasonable. Drink prices are standard. I always have fun here. The bartenders are consistent and cool people. I can’t think of anything negative to say… I love this place.

I’ve been here twice for two different events. I love the way the venue is set up. I so want to throw a party here. I wanted to write this review though to let you all know that every 1st Saturday if the month. This place throws a dope ass reggae party. That honestly I was not expecting in the middle of gowanus lol.

Sweet multipurpose joint in a less-traveled area of Brooklyn. I was here for Brokelyn’s holiday party, which consisted mostly of karaōke with a live band playing the songs. Sound system was surprisingly decent! Drinks are low-mid for NYC prices and there’s a good variety of cocktails to drink/shot specials to appease different tastes. Plenty of bathrooms for such a small venue. Hope to be back for the comedy shows they’re known for sometime.

Came for the rugby event. The location isn’t bad since the R train is three blocks away. But if you’ve never been here, the block looks completely deserted. It really looks like nothing. Just look for people standing around and that should be the entrance. They have a roofless entryway that sucks if it’s raining. Inside, the space is separated into two areas, stage and bar. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. Loved the drink specials, $ 5 Jameson. Not a huge space, but its cute for smaller events.
