Golem is a première wedding/event band for mostly Jewish but also non-Jewish celebrations of all kinds. We have played hundreds of weddings all over the United States and in Europe. Golem is one of the only bands that plays Jewish music professionally (klezmer, simcha, Carlebach, Yiddish swing, etc) but is also a first-rate Brooklyn-based rock band, playing in many styles and genres.
History
Established in 2000.
Golem was created in November, 2000 by Annette Ezekiel Kogan, bandleader, vocalist and accordionist. The group describes itself as «Eastern European Jewish rock». The group performs internationally: throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, as well as France, Germany, the U. K, Poland and Sweden.
