I love this team! They really care for you and your dog. I recently moved to LA and I cried when Eugene went on his last walk with Sam (the best walker ever!!!). I miss this team so much. They cared for my difficult dog with no complaints — even worked on his issues. Thank you guys for being so awesome!

Leash Williamsburg has been a huge life saver when it comes to my two dogs! I’ve been in the wburg area for over 8 years and used my fair share of dog walking and day care services and these guys are truly amazing!
I have one dog who is a bit of a handful — she’s a rescue who has some fear aggression and I was always nervous handing her off to walkers until I met the folks at Leash. Eddie, Danny and Samantha just seem to know what they are doing when it comes to working/​walking my dog and not only does my dog come home happy as can be BUT they have such a good handle on her that I don’t need to worry the whole time. The other great thing is my dogs LOVE them! Anytime I am out and about walking my dogs and they see any of the walkers from Leash I literally have to stop so my dogs can give everyone kisses!

The team at Leash are fantastic. They are very flexible and accomodating, and most importantly, take the best care of our pup Brulee. She comes home happy and healthy after every walk or overnight stay.

Jasmine, of Leash Williamsburg, makes vacationing fun, easy, comforting, and guilt-​free for my cat, Ramseys and I. I am able to peacefully relax knowing my «needy» cat is in excellent hands, while I’m away. For the past three years, I have entrusted Jasmine with caring for my cat, who demands a lot of affection. I can attest that she is warm, dependable, professional and highly trustworthy. Not to mention, she is very knowledgable and sensitive to the needs of her client’s pets. On several occasions, Jasmine confidently administered medication during my cat’s liver infection. He recovered nicely! She has also been there for the smaller things like comforting Ramseys with a good brushing and cat cuddle. While away, Jasmine spoils me with regular updates. She has even surprised me with pictures or a video from her visits. She truly goes above and beyond! She is clearly an animal lover, and very committed to her job — helping pets and their owners.

Similar to the other reviewers, I can not say enough good things about Eddie, Jasmine, Dan, and the Leash team. They have been walking our pit mix for the past two weeks and we could not be happier with the reliable service and attention they give to our pup.
For some background, our pit (Rooney) is a 2 ½ year old alpha female. She is highly reactive and impulsive — if she’s not kept calm, she can act out in dangerous ways (there’s been a few altercations with other dogs that turned ugly, let’s just say). We’ve diligently worked with a trainer on her issues and as long as she’s kept in a structured walk and not allowed to elevate to that ‘red zone,’ she can be an absolute sweetheart!
However, we’ve bounced around between several dog walkers in the area and despite us being very upfront about her issues and needs, every walker has labeled her a «problem dog.» It got to be very upsetting to receive a weekly text or email about how she was bullying another dog on a walk, or how she snapped at another dog and it was unprovoked. And it was baffling to us since we didn’t see this behavior when we were with her, so what’s the deal? We didn’t think we would ever find a walker that could handle her and treat her like their own.
Then we were referred to Eddie and his team and it’s been a complete 180. First off, Eddie introduced himself not as a dog walker, but as a dog behaviorist. Perfect. Not only is he prompt with picking her up within the timeframe we requested (another problem we had with our past walkers) but he often takes her out for longer than what we’ve asked. He gives his full attention to her and the report we get back every day? «Rooney was amazing yet again today!» Music to our ears! Eddie hasn’t observed any of the issues we described… I think he might think we’re crazy… but I think it’s really because he pays attention to the dogs and is able to step in and correct behavior before it elevates. He’s sent us several photos of her sitting alongside other dogs — off leash! — and also playing with other dogs. Just the other night, Dan showed us a video of her playing off leash with about 5 other dogs. This is something we NEVER thought would be possible with her. Dan also demonstrated how he’s teaching her to wait for treats patiently. Further, we’ve never seen Rooney so tired at night. She’s really getting a solid workout each day — physically and mentally.
If all you need is a dog walker that lets your dog out every day to relieve themselves and get some fresh air, you probably can’t go wrong with any of the services in the neighborhood. But if you want someone who’s going to give your dog their full attention, reinforce good dog behavior, and work through any issues you might have, this team is your answer. My husband and I can’t say enough good things about these guys — we are so happy to have found them, and if Rooney could talk, we know she would agree as well.

About a year ago, my dog Tank developed fear aggression after I discovered one of the other local dog walking companies was getting rough with him. I tried every trainer in the area, entertained everyone’s theories and even bought Ceasar Milan DVDs… nothing worked. Then I brought Tank to Eddie for walks. Within about a month he was a completely changed dog. In addition to be responsible and caring walkers, Eddie, Danny and Jasmine worked with Tank, re-​socializing him with human beings and helping him get over his fear. They treated Tank like he was one of their own. Now, people can pet Tank without him snapping or biting and he no longer tries to attack strangers in the lobby of my building. What’s more, Eddie and his team reinforce training on walks, such as how to walk on Leash, greet other dogs, and not pick up strange stuff off the street… whereas other dog walking companies tend to spend more time texting their friends and instagramming photos than paying attention to your dog. I couldn’t be happier with Leash and am so grateful to have met them. If you have a dog with behavioral problems, you know the strain it can have on your life. So I can honestly say they’ve changed my life for the better and made me and Tank much happier.

Can’t rave highly enough about Leash Williamsburg. Ed and Jasmine are reliable, punctual and accessible. Their prompt updates put us at easy that our dog has been cared for as requested. Our dog loves visiting their store and taking walks with Leash.
