Great Acai bowl and chicken and waffle sandwich! I ordered delivery and missed the delivery man and then he came back again after 15 minutes. Very nice service and very tasty food!

Nice small urban Zen chill space. Great light through large windows. Subtle inside and outside for to ceiling water feature. Indoor and outdoor seating Delicious coffee, hot chocolate and great folks working there.

Ugh, this place stole my heart and I wish I could camp out here when I need to get done some serious writing. The décor is rustic with a touch of quaint plus a modern tone: from the waterfall, the mirror that tricks people into thinking there’s more seats in the back who then walk out with a disappointed sad face, to the spacious and neatly arranged interior. The coffee is a bit pricey, but just think of it as paying toward the sit-​down experience (if you’re getting it to go though — sorry bud, can’t help you there).
I tried the iced Vietnamese coffee which was a little bit more iced than I would’ve liked, but pretty good nonetheless. The real kicker was the chicken & waffle sandwich which was AMAZING. Like, I can’t believe I’m eating a perfect chicken & waffle sandwich in a hipster coffee shop. It was the today’s special so I think I lucked out — not sure if they have that as a regular item. Still, will definitely come back.
Tip: don’t sit by the mirror if you plan to get some work done. You’ll just end up being distracted by unconsciously checking yourself out.

This is the first time my partner and I had our first drink of vietnamese iced coffee! We loved the taste. I find it a bit pretty pricyey though for $ 5.25 when it’s just filled up with just lots of ice. I suggest asking them to put less ice.

Coffee is good but service was terrible. The coffee shop was empty but I was chastised for using my laptop during peak «brunch» hours. I repeat, there was no one else here so it all played out like an awkward scene from a Ben Stiller comedy.

Love the ambiance! Lots of natural light, greenery and an indoor waterfall (whaaaat?). It’s such a contrast from the industrial-​factory vibe of neighborhood, making this place quite the gem.
I ordered the avocado toast, which was okay. Just wish the bread was toastier/​crunchier. But I guess you can just ask them to toast it longer. The red pepper flakes gave it a strong kick, but the good kind.
Their iced coffee is pretty good. I have yet to try other menu items though. Vietnamese iced coffee, you’re next!

Really nice ambiance, but stupid expensive (the food inexcusably so, considering the measly portions) and the only functioning outlets are the ones near the long table right by the window.

AP I love you but $ 5 for a large cold brew is ridiculous. Especially when it’s the weakest coffee in the neighborhood.

The worst service ever! Asked for an almond milk chai and she didn’t hear it. Asked if it was almond and the short tattooed barista have so much attitude. Mind you it was iced and she didn’t have to do that much extra work. I apologized and she still gave extra sass. Not sure maybe she was having a bad day but for her to then argue with me about me not speaking up and how she had to do extra work. Just was unnecessary it’s sad. I came to this one cause it was recommended highly. Sad to know its just another pretentious coffee shop in BK place with a snooty barista who’s angry at the world. Fuck this place I won’t come back. Well I’m Visiting but definitely not a fan. Ugh. Step your customer service game up AP short barista with glasses and flower tattoos. Yep. That one

Minimalist coffee shop with beautiful interior, free wifi and good seating. Makes a great office for the day!

I was just kicked out of this coffee shop for eating a bagel from the coffee shop next door while drinking coffee from here. Yes me, a paying customer, sitting by myself at a table drinking coffee from AP Café yet eating a bagel from Wyckoff Star, was told that I could not eat here.
You’ve lost a customer. And if you had better food here, I wouldn’t have had to eat said bagel from Wyckoff Star in the first place.

This place is located on Troutman among other restaurants and bars. I usually come here to do work or to sip on a coffee while looking out the floor to ceiling window. The décor really tries to hard to be some zen, rock-​garden yogi hangout. The food has never been great. I came here with my friend to have a small breakfast before we headed out of Bushwick for the day. I ordered a smoothie for my friend and a coffee and chorizo burrito for myself. The chorizo burrito came and I ate it. It was ok. Then we sat and waited for his smoothie. The owner asked if we were finished and I said that we were waiting for the smoothie. She said it was coming, then came back with a receipt and said she didn’t charge me for the smoothie with an accusatory tone that suggested I was trying to avoid paying… or stealing. You would have to be pretty desperate to wait 25 minutes for a free smoothie.
I won’t be coming back. I will go to Café Ghia from now on. I suggest you do the same

great location… amazing décor and setup…

Definitely a hipster hangout and super trendy. I had the avocado toast with a poached egg and it was delicious. I also tried the iced chai latte that was good too. They have free wifi and a limited food menu. They seem to use very fresh and local ingredients. Plus they are in the heart of the Bushwick Collective graffiti area so you really cannot go wrong!

Best coffee shop in bushwick! Love the décor, open and bright. Kale and pesto bowl is a great healthy option ADD CHICKEN :) advo toast with poached egg is also on point.

Yummm their grilled cheese with chicken and tomato bisque is SO tasty. Great cold brew coffee too.

Love this local place in Brooklyn! The staff are really friendly, and get to know your name and order if you go back a few times. They do a great latte, worthy of the $ 4. The multiple baristas keep things running smooth, and I’m yet to be served a bad coffee.
I’ve gotten food a couple of times, some of their donuts, a breakfast burrito, and the chicken croissant. Everything is pretty good value for money, and the portion sizes are spot on. This café is a great addition to Bushwick, right off the L train at Jefferson street

AP Café has made its way to the top of my work café list. I can come here, order a soy latte and sit down with a book or laptop for a few hours. Great natural lighting, an assortment of pastries and a food menu (did not get to try yet). The décor is gorgeous, simple, and comfortable. I think it’s the combination of everything (wood tables, plants, white walls, sky light) that makes it such an enjoyable setting to get work done, enjoy coffee, or catch up with friends. I have been here for multiple occasions during different times of the day and can always find a empty seat or table. There’s free wifi, which is always a plus.
I definitely like the coffee here. My only complaint is the inattentiveness of the baristas sometimes. There have been a couple times when the barista takes my order as he’s making someone else’s drinks and forgets that I ask for my drink to stay/​to go. It’s not that big of a deal but I would rather wait a bit longer to get my order right.
They also take CUPS, use 18RS4 for $ 10 off your first coffee plan!

«There’s flies everywhere,» said the barista who’d made my drink, immediately after I pointed out the two donuts under the case that a big, ugly fly had taking a liking to.
She was the second person I notified. The first person, the cashier who took my money, and who saw the fly crisscrossing between the two donuts in real time, chose to ignore my suggestion that maybe she should «throw those two donuts away.»
Is it unreasonable of me to expect my $ 5 crème brûlée pastry to be unflied and unshat on? I certainly won’t be shelling out half an Alexander Hamilton in the future for any of these formerly palatable treats.
The caffeine, cooler-​than-​you ambience and slightly aloof server attitude that AP prides itself on are still on par though.
AP: If your case invites flies, which you admit are «everywhere,» then maybe, just maybe, it’s time to innovate your storage system. The rest of the place is cleanly and coolly and functionally designed: why not make the counter just as functional?

Atmosphere is a little too fancy and hip for me. Food was a bit overpriced, but I had excellent service and a good cup of coffee.

Serene, open air, beautiful place serving Vietnamese coffee. No laptops on weekend. The dine-​in experience here is fine, but overpriced. Stick with their pastries if you need something to hold you over.

Delicious ooey gooey grilled cheese with tomato bisque. Coffee is great, friendly service. They carry those yummy Dough donuts.

I was OBSESSED with this place when they first opened! But as of recently, the last 2 times I ordered food here I was less than excited.
1. The portions are very small therefore overpriced. 2. Often (at least last 2 times) the advertised ingredient is not present. Such as kale in the quinoa bowl, translates to tiny specs of kale or sausage in the burrito, i had to ask for it because it was not in here upon being served or berries in the $ 6 oatmeal means 1 berry.
The coffee remains amazing, but I am definitely going to think twice before I have food here :/

The person taking my order was surly compared to how he was taking other people’s orders. I paid in cash because I was told the terminal was broken and tipped in advance. He came by after about 20 minutes and asked if I was waiting on food still and I said yes. 10 minutes pass, still no food. I then flag down a different server and ask what’s happening with my food when other people who ordered after me got theirs. She checks. My order was never placed. She says it’ll be right out. Finally get my food after 45 minutes. They made no attempt to make up for their mistake.
I’d be willing to let this all slide, if it weren’t for the fact that they made a minor error in placing the order of the people next to me. The man who took my order then went to their table, personally apologized and said that he had already refunded one of the orders back on their credit card for the error. What the hell…

Nice interior with concrete and Eames chairs. Good food and a lot to choose from. I had the sweet potato pancakes and they were great.
Free wi-​fi, air condition and laptop free tables on saturday and sundays. :)

I love coming to this place. The space is great, loads of natural sunlight.
They have great food (especially sandwiches!) and amazing smoothie. I like to come here every weekend after the dog park. I love this little spot.

Pretty darn good place for food and coffee. Great place to work during the week — lots of space, wifi, outlets… all the good stuff. The food is a little pricey in my view for the quantity — but maybe that is just the sandwiches. Service has been good overall. The atmosphere is industrial — kind of cool and definitely deviates from traditional cafes but blends well with Bushwick. All and all, looking for a decent bite and coffee and perhaps gets some work done, this joint satisfies

What’s not to love about this place? They have great natural light comes in, free wifi and comfy seats, well, the stone is a little hard but still gorg.
Their lattes are brewed to perfection and never lack that sweet artist flare on top. My favorites here are the yummy kale salad with chicken, the chicken avocado sandwich is the bomb and they only serve sweet potato pancakes on the weekend but they are good!!!
I just wish that folks with lap tops doubled up on tables with each other instead of taking up one whole table. Sometimes it can be hard to find a seat for lunch but otherwise I love it here.

Stopped by on a cold day to try to warm up a bit and Unilocal led me into this nice little coffee shop. Love the minimalist décor. Plenty of tables you can sit at or there are some stools that you can sit on facing the window. Large windows and lots of natural light. The baristas are very friendly, but more importantly seem to make good drinks. Ordered a flat white and a dirty chai. Flat white was made just right, with perfectly pulled espresso and perfect consistency. Chai was a bit sweet, but very good. Prices are very reasonable. WiFi is fast and free as well. Plug sockets are only located on the right side of the shop, and not the left side. Right next to the metro stop and very convenient location.
Would definitely be back to hangout, get work done, or pick up a quick drink.

Large drip coffee tastes amazing. Really smooth — hardly any bitterness or harshness to any sip. All of the standard coffee options look/​smell A+ (cappuccino, latte, espresso, macchiato, etc in both hot & cold). They also have vietnamese iced coffee & thai iced tea for more distinct options for about $ 5. Coffee sometimes served in mason jars.
Fast wi-​fi, huge windows that create a bright, open space. Price on the coffee board is the price you pay and no card minimum (!). Cute wood/​brown theme with furniture that plays off huge white walls + ceilings. Comfortable to sit for a while. Located between a number of awesome Bushwick murals. Great coffee and great place to work/​read.
