If you’re looking for a place in Bushwhick just to go dancing and have fun for the weekend, this is it! My friends and I have been searching for a place just to dance and we were introduced to this place, drinks may be pricey but if you can just have a good time without the need to be drunk, this place is it.

I had a terrible experience at this establishment on Saturday night. I was there for a party and at the end of the night the bouncer decided to single me out noting that I had an «attitude» because I was leaving too slowly. Within about 30 — 60 seconds of his original request, he escalated the situation to shoving me, grabbing my breast in the process and then proceeded to be even more physical, aggressive, and dismissive when I asked for a simple apology for touching me in a sensitive space(whether intentionally or not). I personally believe that grabbing people’s private areas always deserves an apology. I also believe that physical contact should always be the last resort and not something that is initiated simply because you have a feeling that a completely non-violent person has a «bad attitude» as they refuse to leap out of their chair when you initiate closing down a party. In short, his behavior was excessive and his manager backed him up rather than diffusing the situation so this place sucks. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

I don’t usually review bars or lounges but this place is super cool, I had to leave a short snippet. My fiancé and I were on the way to dinner in the area and stumbled upon this very cool loft-like warehouse bar… with a ping pong table in the front, and cool looking couches with a DJ pumping good EDM/Euro trance in back, a shack for food(namely oysters… called Dienna? Djenna?)… it is definitely a cool, unique experience. And NOT crowded. There was so much room in there, it was awesome. Seems like you can reserve room too. A major plus coming from Manhattan. It’s BK but has an underrated clubby feel, which I like. Happy hour seems to be daily. though we got non happy hour drinks. Our bartender prepared an artful hot toddy for me(the fact that they even have that, along with Irish coffee and other stuff is just awesome), and a good whiskey pour for fiancé. Those drinks were in the $ 10+ range but they had plenty of wine for $ 6 due to happy hour. We didn’t get the food but during HH it seems like oysters are $ 1…Def check it out.

I have to say, the bartender was so rude and drunk last night. And it takes a lot to complain about a bartender in New York. But we had a whole birthday party there and eventually took it elsewhere because she was so horrible, and slow, and not nice. The space was cute though and the door guy was very pleasant.

Janani the bartender must have been having a terrible night, because she was the rudest bartender I’ve ever had. She poured me the wrong drink and accused me of ordering it, Then Janani tried to give me someone else’s drink. Janani also told me I didn’t have a tab open until she looked a second time. I wouldn’t come here again if they were giving the booze away. Also, the fries were soggy. Short shots, dirty glasses, and terrible service.

I have never eaten here, this review is based only on drinks /entertainment. The drinks seem weak and too expensive. The place is trying too hard to look like a club in Chelsea or the meatpacking district, even though it looks like a walmart garden center walking up. I had just been run out of my regular sanctuary bar by a crazy person determined to be my best friend. She was telling me wild and fantastical stories which weren’t even fun to listen to because I knew there wasn’t a shred of truth to them. So when my friend texted with ‘hey let’s go watch boobs of Bushwick comedy night at Lot 45′, I thought ‘okay, maybe this night isn’t a total wash yet’ No. I don’t really get the whole Boobs of Bushwick ‘thing’ and they did a terrible job of explaining it to the audience. After 10 minutes I was weighing in my mind which was worse — enduring the stories of the random El Salvadorian tranny, or suffering through these professional comedians try to put on a show at Lot 45. There were a couple of moments where I laughed, and maybe if I had some tourists staying at my house I’d take them there because it’s three blocks away and free(well, except for the overpriced watery drinks). I like that they are giving a venue to people just trying to live their dreams and all, but… uuuggh. Weird crowd and not very clever comedy. Definitely will appeal more towards young transplants who just don’t give a shit about anything.

I recommend the Kale Salad. It was exactly like I like a kale salad, with a briny, lemony dressing and makes me feel like I’m doing good things for my body. My daughter had the French toast, but she mostly liked the bacon that came with it. Husband had the lamb merguez and the flavors were rich and savory and the portion size was just right.

It’s a beautiful space, the cocktail was great, the dj was amazing. My only issue was the burger that I ordered. The burger was $ 14 and not worth it in size and taste. The fries it came with were okay but I have had better. But overall it was a good experience and I would love to go back.

What a great spot to hang out and have a drink/cocktail with friends! Spacious, low-key feel but cosy ambiance with great cocktails. It’s like a huge Euro-art, neighborhoody but trendy spot. I did not try the food.

I’ll just list some things I like about this joint: 1. right off the L. 2. DJENNABURGER. damn. 3. Happy Hour til 9(not 7, 9.) 4. comfy as all get out 5. BRUNCH 6. $ 10 specialty cocktails. I like anything up in a coupe, and that’s available here for $ 10. damn. The food is realllly good. So far I’ve only had the wings(which are ridic btw), the burger(*praying hands emoji*), and a radish fennel salad(which really did it for me). I’m down. I’ll be back.

OK, so I can be understanding to the whole«new waitress» thing, but isn’t there some unwritten NYC rule that a real waitress has to supervise the new waitresses’ tables? After 10+ years, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in New York City. She just made crap attempts at communicating btwn us and the kitchen. We waited for almost an hour after placing our order wondering if we would ever see her again, not to mention the food we tried to order. And honestly, not only did the waitress have no clue, but the food itself was just an overpriced frozen fish stick, with a pile of chips from a plastic bag(that I specifically did NOT order, btw). And the Burger was overcooked with a bun that had the consistency of an old leather shoe. The oysters, when they finally arrived, had been cleaned poorly with shell bits abundant in the meat. Everything just reeked of incompetence. Like the real manager is off on some wonderful vacay clueless to the decaying crap left behind.

I discovered this beautiful gem when I was seeing one of my comedian pals perform during their Tuesdays series of Bushwick Bears. One word: FREE. Yeah, you read that right — free comedy show. Happy Hour: 5 to 9pm. Features: FREE games like ping-pong and foosball(is that how you spell it? I’m too lazy to Google). I saw boardgames available too hidden behind the bar counter(ask!) Along with comfortable chairs and sofa seating in the main bar space. Projector screen for movies Stage with a pretty chandelier(perf for stand up performances) Food — yeah there is food here Cute bartender! Yeah, I am going to come back for sure. Oh, upon arriving at this place, you get to see the beautiful art: D

I am absolutely in love with Lot45. This place has so much going for them, let me list the ways: — Free comedy show on Tuesdays at 9(so fun). — Happy Hour 5 – 9. — Massive and fully stocked, beautiful bar. — Huge venue/lounge space adorned with red plush couches, glam chandeliers and a stage — super sexy vibes. — Entertainment galore: board games at your disposal(the fun kind too: Jenga, Connect 4), ping pong and fooseball tables out front. — Delicious Algerian spiced food in their food truck.(That Djenna burger tho? The fish tacos? Out of this world.) — Amazing hand crafted $ 10 cocktails. What I really like about this place is how chill and unpretentious it feels. I’ve been here 3 times in one week and it always feels like I’m visiting an old friend for drinks. Every single detail here, down to the pictureless huge frame at the stage, the WC neon sign over the restroom door, the gorgeous mural of a regal Victorian woman by the bar, the food truck in a shipping container, was carefully thought out and so appreciated. Things to note: There is no wait service. You go up to the food truck, order and pay for your food and they’ll bring it to you. You also have to go inside to the bar and order your drinks there. They will, however, find you and bring your food and/or drinks to you — wherever you’re sitting. The fried chicken only offers drumsticks. No thighs or white meat. The bar could use more bartenders. There was this one guy(tall, blond hair — super nice and cool) holding it down, crazy overwhelmed while others just stood around. I’m guessing they’re new and in training or not bartenders but stand there anyway. Get this sorted out, please. Welcome to the neighborhood Lot45! You’re a wonderful addition!

Crashed this place last night during the bushwick collective. I think i wouldve enjoyed it more, but the lack of service that was provided to me and the rest of the place was ridiculous. Let me start off by saying TEN stars to the bartender that busted his ass last night to serve well over 100 people at the same time. There were a few bartenders behind the bar, but they were taking their sweet time inputting their tip totals into the computer, while this one bartender was drowning in all the orders being placed. He was the tall, skinny, black one. As a bartender myself, i was annoyed to see the other bartenders inputting tip totals in the middle of service… not even helping this wonderful guy. One of the bartenders, short, dark haired girl was standing around talking to another bartender about something personal and totally irrelevant to… work. Moving along… the music was good, people were dancing. I was just over the house music scene after dancing to it for awhile. The DJ seeemed to be over it too, because when i looked back, he wasnt behind his system anymore. it was just playing the song on repeat. How annoying.

A few friends and I went here for brunch and I will never come here again, which is sad because the space is beautiful and in a great location. Our waiter wrote down all of food, repeated the order back to us to make sure he had all of our meals, and forgot an entire entrée anyway. Wouldn’t you notice that a person was missing a meal when you sat all other meals down on the table? We had to tell them we were missing an entire meal and they all looked confused. The mac-n-cheese was basically just really oily noodles with a kraft cheese slice microwaved on top. My friend’s salad was salty. SALTY. How is that even possible? Way too expensive for such underwhelming food. Also, they ring up the food and drinks on separate checks, which I normally wouldn’t be bothered by but because our whole experience was awful, that just annoyed me further. WIth so many other great food spots in the area, it’s not worth ever wasting money here. Two stars because they took my friends entrée they forgot off the check and because the space was cool. My friends have come here for drinks and liked them, but the only time i tried to go there at night they were charging a $ 10 cover. We live in Bushwick… why are you charging covers. Also — who serves water in shot glasses and thinks that’s okay? That review written by Air O. was 100% paid for. What a joke.

Tucked away in an unassuming fascade, this lounge restaurant transports you into Europe with its dreamy baroque styled décor. The message is simple… Relax, sit back and enjoy the view. The ambiance makes you feel at home, velvet covered couches, large oversized leather seats welcome a long evening in this fantastic bar. Select one of their inventive cocktails designed by mixologists you wish to be best friends with. Dine on fresh unassuming simple algerian inspired food from Djenna and Chef Samy Behaya, with flavors so inventive the variety of patrons strolling through the door don’t realize how lucky they are once their order is up in moment. Those oysters! That kale salad! The burgers! Indulge in it all. You won’t regret it. Lest I forget to mention, Lot45& Djenna support local artists and musicians screaming for a space to show off their talent. Look for upcoming events, they are worth keeping in your back pocket. Don’t be shocked if there is a Celebrity siting here either. This place is not to be missed. Go, and go now.

Oh lot45, I wouldn’t want anyone else to have the honor of being my 100th review. After coming twice in the past month, this place is my new favorite bar. Its huge, warehouse style with a massive outdoor area. They closed the outdoors off with covering, so you’re still able to chill out there in the dead of winter. There’s an area towards the front of the bar with couches that’s nice to lounge in when you want a break from the dance floor. The drinks are cheap, the crowd is always great, and the DJ never disappoints.
