Bothell Nails

I’m not the type to write reviews but I’m too mad not to! Decided to take a chance on this place because my mom lives nearby and she needed to be pampered for Mother’s Day. We got here at our appt time and were sat down in the chairs. My mom doesn’t like nail polish so she just got a manicure and pedicure. They did both at the same time and finished BOTH IN 10 MINUTES!!! Is this a joke? She is supposed to be pampered, that was the point of bringing her in. My money could have gone somewhere else that would have cared to take care of her. Not only that, they weren’t even busy!!! They had one person in here when we got here and she was finished. I won’t be back!

The pedicure was fine. What annoyed me was when the gal assumed what my tip would be and added it to my bill. They will also try to upsell everything while you are there.

First time here today — Ann did an amazing job on my pedicure, not to mention gave me a heavenly massage!!! Then Tammy gave me an awesome manicure — really took her time and made sure it looked perfect. Everyone was super nice and friendly. I’ll definitely be back :). Thank you!!!

I went to this nail salon and got a shellac french tip, within a day it started bubbling and peeled off totally. The price was great, but the quality was not worth it.

They do an okay job but try to push extra services on you. The extra spa pedicure was not as much as I thought it would be based on what was described. I also asked for a Seahawks design on my nail and had to have it redone by a different lady because the first design was so bad. Also they basically made me pay cash when they saw I had some in my wallet even though I wanted to use my credit card. It was very weird. She said they charge her too much for the credit card machine. I’ve never heard that before and it seemed very fishy. I won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend it.

Lina is an awesome personable business woman. She meets and greets all of her customers and looks out for her employees as well. The friendly employees take pride in their services and ensured that I was happy with my nails. The environment is relaxing and neighborhoody/​local. When I returned the second time, Lina remembered me as well.
Prices are reasonable.

Just visiting from San Diego and found this place in Unilocal.Kim and Kelsey gave me a mani-​pedi today and they were the best. They took their time and gave me a great service and were very professional and courteous. I have sensitive feet and yet was never uncomfortable.

This review is only for brow waxing.
I moved here from New York and have been searching high and low for a good place to get my eyebrows waxed that does not cost an arm and leg. My search is now over, having found Bothell Nails. Lina does exactly what I ask, does a beautiful job, and (most importantly) does not burn me. Customer service is also top notch. If I ever get another service done here I will update my review, but as far as the eyebrow wax goes, I am very happy.

I won’t be back. I went for a mani pedi. They asked me if I wanted the special pedicure for $ 5 extra. I said sure, after hearing them explain it to my friend. I sat with my feet in the water for about a half an hour before they did anything, and then it was just «eh» — they forgot the Massage, the hot stones, and the lotion that I was promised. My manicure was done at the same time as the pedicure, and then they disappeared, leaving my friend and I to sit there for the next half an hour, alone, and we couldn’t leave because my friend was waiting for the owner to come back to do nail art, but she took on a lengthy wax job so we just kept waiting… My manicure included them soaking my fingernails in a bowl of water, pushing my cuticles back very quickly, a quick file, a base coat, and two coats of polish. No lotion, no hand or arm massage, and no top coat, until I asked about 45 minutes later. While they were gone in the back, I mentioned to my friend the things I got shorted and suddenly a woman appeared with lotion and massaged my feet and legs, and honestly, she was no good. When I handed over my cash at the end and the owner decided her own tip was going to be $ 5 of my change without even saying anything, I was just dumbfounded.

Just visited Bothell Nails for the first time and so far, am a very happy customer. I paid extra for a hot stone massage and a slightly higher quality polish that I know will last longer. All of the nail technicians were very friendly and did very good work. Prices seem very reasonable especially with the high level of customer service provided.

Pressure you into additional services, not a friendly environment. Also not very clean.

This is a great place to go on a Sunday night when you are stressed. The ladies there are so nice and are really good at painting nails. I give it a huge thumbs up

Friendly service earns this salon 2 stars. At least I assume friendliness because their English was poor. I entered wanting a shellac manicure for 25 $ which is decently priced. Come to find out that because I was a new customer I would need to pay an extra 5 $. Shouldn’t it be the other way around? Unfortunately she never cleaned my cuticles and the end result is disappointing. My nails are bumpy. This place could also use some air conditioning, as well as an upgrade.

I wanted to get something that would really LAST, as I’m going out of the country for a month. I wanted a «French» look on my nails and toes. I’ve never seen a busier place. It was definitely assembly-​line mani/​pedi. They speak very little English, and I suspect my requests were not understood well. I asked for Lina, but I guess she was too busy, so I got 3 other young folks.
MANI: Firstly, they did not soak my nails, or cuticle clean-​up of dead skin, etc. NONE of the 3 different people that worked on me pushed back my cuticles. I don’t care for the ultra-​thick acrylic, and because my cuticles were not pushed back, the acrylic is already lifting on the edges, looking like I already need a fill, after only 3 days! I like something a little thinner, and more natural-​looking. My nails ended up being very square, even though I asked for «square-​ISH».
PEDI: The French part was uneven, being very thin white on one side, and thicker on the other. I did enjoy the foot soak and massage with hot stones.
They seemed MUCH too rushed to do a good job. «get ‘em in, get ‘em out.». seems to be their MO. They are all very nice, however, $ 85 for a mani/​pedi that I could have done better stings.
I will never go back.

update: my nails looked so shoddy after a week, I ended up taking them off myself. WORST MANI I’VE EVER HAD. UGH !

I love this place. The staffs are friendly, dedicated, professional. Space is open, spacious, and very clean. They are very good with acrylic nails. I’m always a happier and more beautiful person every time after I visit their salon. They also give out stamp cards for you to get discount and free designs after certain visits. One of the staff, Lynna is also very good at waxing. She is super sweet and truly cares about her customers. Their prices are reasonable. If you want an amazing pampering experience, I highly recommend Bothell’s Nails.

My first pedi was excellent!!! However my follow up was terrible and thats why 2 stars. The bestie and I went on a Friday evening, they were busy granted, our feet were put in cool water and told to «wait» for hot water. Asked owner to turn up her hot water tank… She told us to «wait»

The absolute WORST pedicure experience I’ve ever had. I work on my feet ALL day so I look forward to getting pampered once in a while. And because I do work on my feet, yea my feet take a beating. There is no reason to make someone feel uncomfortable about it and then talk amongst each other in a language we don’t understand and staring. Obviously that’s why I am here! I sat in the chair with my feet in water for 20 mins before anyone even started on me. My friend was pretty much done by the time they started my half ass pedicure. Terrible attempt at cleaning my cuticles and not even paying attention as they rubbed scorching hot stones on my shin bones. I literally told her to just stop and go ahead and paint my nails. And how dare you charge me full price when you know the experience sucked without me saying anything and having apologizing first.
Never going back. And I do NOT recommend. Terrible terrible terrible!

This is my go to nail place. My nails always look beautiful, and last a very long time without chipping. The customer service is above and beyond wonderful. The ladies are all so sweet. Highly recommended.

I really wanted to like this place, but you get what you pay for.
I made an appointment and was seated quickly, thankfully. The woman doing my acrylics was nice and made good conversation.
I have a very very slight nail issue, where one half of my ring finger nail grows flat. It’s not a big problem, I’ve done my own acrylics over it for years. She tried to redo it three times, then did a shoddy job getting the nail on there and tried to play it off.
Of course, they all ended up cracking or falling off mere days later. Im a receptionist. That shouldn’t happen, I don’t do heavy lifting or anything that should break them.
There were bubbles and rough edges in the nails, and they all had ridges from not being smoothed out properly. I think it was the owner that was doing my nails.
She ruined them, and then mercilessly suggested I tell all my friends about them. I don’t want to throw them under the bus because they were friendly and had great prices, but they didn’t do a magnificent job.

I am sold on using Bothell Nails! I typically don’t get my nails done very often so I have bounced around from place to place quit a bit, but I have finally found my spot!
The staff are courteous, well-​trained and do a great job. Plus, if you are in a hurry or haven’t made an appointment, they are always willing to accommodate you.
I will definitely go again!
